I went to Kitty Hawk Kites in Corolla. Wendy was such a great help as well as the others. I am recently disabled and they went above and beyond to help me, even offered help to the second floor.The main thing I am grateful is them helping a disabled patron no questions asked. I would recommend them to anyone who comes this way.Wendy offered to help us taking pictures and even recommended us to go visit the lighthouse and park, we had missed it when we drove by the first time. Her recommendation was a pleasant unplanned surprise. We are very glad she recommended it. We definitely will go back to shop there next time we visit and will definitely recommend to others suggesting they ask for Wendy for her great customer service.Thank you so much Wendy

Huge selection on two floors of kites, games, puzzles, toys, shirts, hoodies, shorts, swimwear, sun glasses, beach stuff, dog accessories etc. Lots of Life is Good clothes and accessories. They sell YETI, Columbia, Oakley, Sun Bum, Puppy Love, Salt Life, Rip Curl, O’Neil, Volcom and more. It’s wall to wall merchandise but it’s higher quality than similar products found at Wings. Definitely a cool spot in Corolla!

Love this store, really nice people, great selection, lots of cool stuff here and awesome kites. The kite we got worked well! Little expensive for the other stuff but the kites seemed reasonable.

Went there to get some info and buy a stunt kite. Friendly, knowledge and honest staff. On our way back home we stepped by to get another kite for my daughter. The guy at register, Matt, I believe was his name recognized us and gave us an envelope with 5 bucks in it saying my daughter overpaid for her shirt couple days ago. To me that's 5 🌟 just for that.

The staff are helpful and friendly. Sammy, a manager there let me borrow something of his that the business didn't rent. It was something of value, and I was really surprised that he didn't even ask to see my Driver's license or ask for my cell phone #. "I trust you, just bring it back when you're finished with it." Wow! I didn't think that kind of customer service existed. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Corolla Beach.

Only gave one star because I had too.Worst service ever! I booked a horse tour through Kitty Hawk Kites on a weekend trip and when I arrived at my designated time I found out that my reservation had never been sent to the company. I called Kitty Hawk Kites and spoke with Kristen. it appears the only solution they had was to reschedule for later in the week or a refund. I get this but feel it was completely unacceptable. They had confirmed me and we're more than willing to take my money. we had built the day up to the kids and then wasted our whole day in Corolla waiting on our tour due to the ineptness of Kitty Hawk Kites to do their job. Luckily I was able to confirm from Corolla Outback Adventures that Kitty Hawk Kites was able to do their one function successfully this time. I would personally never book through Kitty Hawk Kites again and would instead go directly to the company. Kitty Hawk Kites has gotten to big for their britches and had the audacity to blame it on the Corolla Outback Adventures.
