Nice gift store with a wide selection of OBX, Corolla, beach styles t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and many other items. Product quality seems much higher and at Wings. Friendly service and easy parking. Nice spot and worth stopping by.

We really like farmers daughter.. they have nicer vacation gifts and some hats we all love mine this year said... I am not a control freak but you are doing that wrong... I am not sure why the wife bought that for me but the colors are me..

Super disappointing experience here from the owner/employee here on our last trip. We always make a point to stop here on vacation (usually in different towns) but we were passing and decided to hit this one. My boy (6) had an empty ice cream dish that he was finishing and the sign on the door clearly read no food or drink inside which I respect and understand. However no garbage can was provided outside so he finished quickly outside and I asked the lady behind counter if she could throw it away. She gladly accepted with a smile and took the bowl...it was then that an older lady that I'm guessing was in charge yelled over to her .."No No we can't take any garbage like that because of the bug problem. Take it to the gas station next door." So although frustrated I went out with it and looked around the corner and the garbage for the gas station was a good walk away. So here is the point...if you have a rule simply provide a way for people to comply with it. Its a simple fix, and should not become the neighboring business's problem to handle for you. My wife still bought a shirt but I rounded up the kids and we went outside. Did not feel welcome or willing to spend any more time there after that unfortunate interaction.

During my stay a Corolla, I had my two children, ages three and one and a half, with me everywhere I went. We shopped at Timbuck 2, and multiple other places in Duck and Kitty Hawk. The only way I survive with them is using my wonderful wagon stroller. I was disappointed and utterly shocked whenever I walked into the Farmer’s daughter, in Corolla, and I began my shopping. I was approached by a shop worker, and basically told I couldn’t be accommodated because of my stroller not being able to get through. She asked for me to leave it outside, and then I could come back in. Um,yeah, not really going to happen with me and two toddlers.I am saddened, because if they cannot accommodate my 21 in wide stroller, they certainly cannot accommodate a standard 26 inch wheelchair. So much for buying some nice clothing while here!I also should mention that I had already begun shopping, and had 4+ items in my hands. I tried to hand them to her so I could leave, and she just stared at me.

Employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. My family was entering the store and she started screaming “we’re closed we’re closed,” while turning off the lights. There were still several families in the store shopping and it was only 7:20pm. Online it clearly says the store closes at 8pm. There is also no signage on the door stating the store’s hours. Will definitely not be returning, and several people who were exiting the store after having the lights turned out on them said the same thing. It’s a shame because it seems like a nice place but the ugly staff ruin it.

Very nice and well ordered clean store. I'd say one of the better Farmer's Daughters in the Outer Banks. Everything from clothing to jewelry, hats and decor for your home, cute signs, both the expensive stuff and thrifty fare things for every budget. Excellent customer service with a smile. And no! I don't know anyone who who works there so I have no ulterior motives for this review. Great setting in Corolla. If you're in the area you'll want to give it a look!

I was really looking forward to shopping here after seeing all if the advertisements. They didn’t nearly have what they advertised. When I went in there they had four to five workers who were more focused on putting out merchandise out rather than helping customers.I wound up leaving without purchasing anything, which is rare for me.

We were in from Ohio looking for baby hey dudes for a wedding and I had my sister in law and her service dog with us and at all times my sister in law keeps a tag on her leash with everything about her dog and when we walked in, the lady In there said under any circumstances her dog was not allowed in the store unless it was able to be hand held. Under the Americans with Disability Act no matter how big or how small or the breed you can not deny a service dog. It really upset us both because I also have a service dog and we both know all the rules so needless to say we did not buy anything there.

Very rude front desk lady. I tried to ring the bell for assistance at the check out because we had been standing there and no one came. I rang the bell and she came up and said “can you not in” very rudely. I asked what she had said and she told me “ I was standing right here, you didn’t need to ring the bell.” If she was standing right there, than why didn’t she see us standing at the check out for so long. I just looked in shock how rude and unprofessional someone could be to a customer. I simply just walked out the store and was very upset of how she acted! That was my first and for sure my last time ever shopping at Farmers Daughter.
