We ate lunch here after visiting the Currituck lighthouse. This is our first try of North Carolina BBQ. We ordered the Pork plate and Pork sandwich. The BBQ sauce that came with my plate was vinegary. The sauce was not to our liking, but they also had other sauces to choose from. Overall the pork meat was good. I liked the coleslaw and potato salad. The cornbread was really good. The pork sandwich comes with coleslaw inside or on the side.Very nice folks!

I love eastern NC pork bbq ,and I’ve had a lot of it around the Greenville and Goldsboro areas of NC. The pork bbq I had yesterday was just ok not great. The Mac n cheese wasn’t good. The beans were ok. Cornbread was very good. Maybe I should have ordered the ribs or chicken instead. Staff was friendly and I liked the outdoor eating area. If I come back I’ll try the other meats and sides and see if I feel different about their BBQ and sides.

If you like barbecue then you need to stop here and get some this is by far the best barbecue joint you'll find in the state of North Carolina. Come early because they run out fast. Everything here is delightful and you won't be upset with any of your decisions. Nice Ambience sitting out under the live oak trees and quaint historic village Corolla will Delight you with the times of old. Definitely come try this place

These is easily the best barbecue in the area if not all of the OBX. If you don't like their NC style pulled pork, you quite simply just don't like NC style barbecue. They also offer chicken and ribs, but the pork is where it is at. They offer a number of sides all of which are good with my favorites being the baked beans and candied yams. Great hole in the wall type spot in shack looking building. Counter ordering. They do have a few picnic tables outside and otherwise it is all to go. While open until 8pm, they frequently sell out of food and close. So, probably want to make sure you get there on earlier side.

Stopped here while touring the Currituck lighthouse and historic Corolla village. We were not disappointed!! Good portions and reasonable prices. The food was delicious and just the fuel we needed to continue exploring!We got the Large BBQ plate with macaroni and cheese and candied yams as a side. We added on the buns to make sandwiches! The staff were helpful and service was so fast!! The picnic tables under the trees are a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

Nice off the beaten path, Carolina BBQ. Carolina vinegar base sauce. Order at the window, sit outside under the tree and enjoy the sun and shade while they prepare the food. Prices and food are great, you can buy extra sides and buns if you need them. But save the time and buy your BBQ dinner from here and look like a hero. Will return when we return to the OBX.

We tried Corolla Beach Barbecue for dinner today! It's a must try if you have never had it before. Food is delicious and customer service was exceptional! Definitely will be adding this to a regular puting while vacationing in Corolla!

This place reminds mean more of a 1950’s ice cream stand. All picnic table seating in a sparsely shaded area. I’ve had better BBQ but the staff was friendly.Parking: Gravel/Sand lot.Kid-friendliness: Playground within view of picnic tables.

Wow. Pulled pork...burn ends...excellent! The smell of smoking barbeque pulled us in from a few blocks away. We ordered 2 quarts of BBQ and one quart of burnt ends for 8 of us (2 adults, 5 teenagers and an 8 year old). We probably didn't need one of the quarts, but left overs we're just as good the next day!

Be warned, if rainy there is no place to sit. Good customer service, but if you don’t like Carolina barbecue sauce make sure and clarify because it is incredibly vinegar-y. Meat itself was great but didn’t like the sauce personally, but I should have done my research before I come in. Good cornbread.

Delicious BBQ, the pork is unreasonably good and so is the cornbread. Beautiful outdoor seating, spacious and peaceful. People working here (presumably the owners) are cool as hell and were also pirates in a past life 🏴‍☠️ They came out to hook us up with some stickers and ask how the food was. We will definitely come here again.

Best BBQ in OBX! Seriously.Pulled pork, chicken, or ribs, it's all amazing. Ribs are my personal favorite. Look out for their specials too. Every side is amazing, especially the baked beans. There are tables outside but lots of flies so take it to-go or prepare for battle.

Awesome pork bbq. Went here after climbing the lighthouse. Loved that it wasn’t fatty meat. They had a good selection of bbq sauce. Outdoor seating under a tree. Couldn’t find a bathroom nearby so we went back to the lighthouse where they have clean bathrooms that the kids used. If you go early there wasn’t much of a wait but this place seems to get busy fast especially around noon.

The delicious smell will lead you to the Village BBQ. Prices are good and portions are generous. A meal al fresco under the big shade tree was a great start to vacation!
