This is a fun little eatery. Fun plates. Not an extensive menu but what they do they do well. The quesadillas were cheesy and tortillas crisp. The chicken sandwich and fries were really well done for those that are looking for a more mild taste. And the burrito was fresh and not fishy. You can't ask for more. The decor is beachy and cheeky. The servers are quick and friendly. Come sit enjoy the views outside, limited seats inside, don't feed the locals!

Corolla Cantina was SO good! I didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she was attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. The food was incredibly tasty; we were super impressed. The vibe was relaxed, they had some reggae hits playing and it made it feel like we were really on vacation. View of the top of the lighthouse. Just really enjoyed the meal and we can’t wait to go back next year!

Wow... annoyed we've been here a week and only just now tried this place! The honey shrimp app is absolutely amazing! Both of our sandwiches were stellar! Service was on point and friendly and the atmosphere inside and out is super comfy and welcoming. Will definitely be revisiting the Cantina before we leave!

So, kinda wanted some tacos, chips & salsa, and a burrito after the beach. The menu was okay, unusual combination of Mexican, seafood, and random stuff. (No bowls of chips and salsa to start, bummer.) Also, a bit overpriced. I will say the wait staff was super friendly and the restaurant was comfortable.

Tasty place to eat!This spot sits in a shopping center with other solid restaurants. We came here on our way out of town last week, but we've been here before.We sat outside. If you can handle the flies, sitting outside is great at the beach.The Mrs and my daughter got chicken nachos which were delicious. The boy got crab and shrimp quesadillas- very tasty! I got ahi tuna tacos. The tuna came out super raw, but combined with coconut rice and an awesome cucumber Wasabi sauce, it turned out great.Looking forward to coming here next year as well!

Grabbed lunch here while touring Corolla and this place was AWESOME. Both the burrito with queso and the fish tacos were 👌👌👌. And the outdoor seating that accommodated dogs was very nice as well! Had a blast. Recommended!

I'm always curious to read the reviews of other folks, esp when there is such a disparity in stars! In any case, we had a great time. My husband, myself and our Lab mix popped by after a day at the local beach. We drove up from Kitty Hawk just to see a new place in OBX. The hostess was very kind and helped us get a shady spot outside for our pooch, and we only waited a few min. We did NOT sit inside and so have no idea what the inside atmosphere is like. Our server was such a gentleman and so attentive. The frozen lime marg was perfect and my husband LOVED the skinny marg with jalapenos!!! It had a true jalapeno flavor with the heat, too. I got the crabcake dinner and it was amazing. Slaw has cilantro in it which we LOVE. We even got two cocktails to go so we could walk to see the sunset!I also have to shout out the other server working that day - a family had two tables, one of adults and a separate one that was their kids of varying ages. The older kids were doing a good job with the younger ones but it was still organized chaos! The server was patient and seemed to anticipate their needs. Hope they tipped well because she went above and beyond.

First time dining there, very cute little mom and pop joint. We had the southwest egg rolls to start… very delicious, my wife had the seafood quesadilla which she said was “fabulous” and I had the crab cake sandwich. Everything we had was very good with the exception of the crab cake. It was very dry and off flavored ( can’t exactly describe). The staff was very personable and pleasant to deal with.I would eat there again, but I would stay away from the crabcakes.

Great little bar in Corolla! Eric the bartender is great and the owner is just as nice. A lot of food options in the menu and great drink options. Can't wait to go back next year. Big Shrimpn'... Lol

The food is good. Their burritos have lots of fresh ingredients. Not everything is completely covered in cheese, although you can get a bowl of queso. Surprisingly, they offer a pretty darn yummy crab cake sandwich! Don't forget to order an adult mixed drink.

Let me start by saying this is a cozy spot. It's convenient to Corolla Inn and surrounded by other restaurants. We were greeted on entry and seated. I thought of leaving as they had just cleaned the table but the smell from the rag was sour. There were flies and I said nope we should leave. We decided to stay. I ordered chicken tacos from the kids menu which was just chopped chicken in flour tortillas. The chicken was well seasoned with not taco seasoning, the jerk sandwich was laughable. I had the tuna steak bowl with jasmine rice, salsa and guacamole. The rice was not jasmine rice, the guacamole was not edible, the salsa was really watery. The chips were also not edible. I had a virgin Pina colada that was not a Pina or colada. Just a coconut slushie and barely. I give 3 stars for the customer service.Update: 7/29/22: I removed a star for the "owner's response below. I came to eat NOT to have fun. How this place has 4.1 stars is beyond me.

The chef gets props from this family on a delicious meal all around. Freshly cooked and sauteed ingredients for the fajita quesadillas. Prices are fair considering the market and destination. You can't spend $4,000-5,000 on a week beach house and then get to complain about a $13-15 lunch. Good food, great service, would recommend for lunch.

This was our first trip to OBX, off-season and post/during COVID.Service was attentive and quick, but we were surprised to learn they limited to outdoor seating only but didn’t make the simple gesture to wear masks.The food was tasty and well-prepared, although there was nothing uniquely crafted to write home about.The outdoor eating space was pleasant during our good weather day.

Absolutely love this spot. I make it a point to visit this place every year no matter where we stay in OBX.The food is amazing and the whole cast of employees are super chill and they have great beer on tap. Highly recommend the “Just in Queso”, “Southwest Crab Dip” and Currituck Club Quesadilla.

Eric makes the best Bloody Mary of my life!!! We got the honey shrimp, sesame tuna, and southwest crab dip. So so so good!!!!!!!!
