Despite one snarky review about the cost of sanwiches, we stopped in and bought wine and sandwiches. The staff members are awesome! The food is delicious. Homemade puckles...yum!! If you don't want the extras like this, go eat cheap Subway sandwiches. I prefer supporting family-owned and gormet on vacation when I'm not feeding a herd of people.

Great to have in Corolla - Family owned and CARED for - you can tell throughout the store and deli there is pride in everything they make or do. Decent selection of wine and bottled/canned beer. Yummy sandwiches - if they don't have what you like on the menu build one for you. The Deli closes at 3PM but it's open everyday but Sunday. Find a lunch place on a Monday in the upper Outer Banks in 2021 - good luck. This will be a regular place for us.

Nice local shop with a good variety of wine and cheese, a decent selection of local beers and the best cookies in the area! Staff was knowledgeable, patient and helpful while selecting wine and cheese. Although we didn't partake, their sandwiches looked yummy!Priced moderately for a resort town business, their selection runs from everyday decent to "woo boy", to fit anyone's budget.

We ordered 7 cold sandwiches and a kid's grilled cheese which cost over $107. Most of the sandwiches were $13 dollars and the grilled cheese was $8. The kid's grilled cheese had literally one "1" slice of cheese, and each of the $13 chicken salad wraps had maybe three tablespoons of chicken salad, a tomato and some sort of spinach or lettuce. They were tasteless. How about some interesting ingredients (e.g. grapes, walnuts) in a chicken salad sandwich from a shop that considers itself "Gourmet". The other sandwiches were similarly subpar. Wawa sandwiches, which I would never claim to be anything but average, at $7 are far better. You expect a shop that considers itself to offer "gourmet" products could do better. Definitely not worth the money.

So helpful and the sandwiches and cheese board were delicious. It was hard to find good food and service the week we were there and this place was a fantastic find. They even opened our wine and gave us cups.

I read the reviews and thought I'd try this. I'm pretty selective about wine and hoped to find at least one good bottle. I did not find one good bottle, I found several and an amazing owner that knew her wine and made us two fantastic sandwiches. They were perfect and I plan on visiting again before we leave

This is literally the first Google review I’ve ever done. That’s how much this place rocks. They have a solid selection of wine and beer, the sandwiches are the best on the beach, and the people are always friendly. We make a point to make several trips every time we come to Corolla on vacation and will continue to do so!

A unique place serving a wide variety of sandwiches and salads, charcuterie and cheeses. They also sell a nice selection of wines. My favorite sandwich is the Monterrey Shores. Jessica and Debbie, mother and daughter are the owners and are super friendly. Tony, Debbie's hubby will provide you with an entertaining chat and Chef Chris is concocting goodies, like dips and spreads and my husband's favorite blueberry lemon bars.

Went in for a light lunch. Got the cheese plate with meat and a couple of glasses of wine. It was the father and daughter working when we were there. The father was very friendly and talkative, but not in an overbearing way. The meat and cheeses were delicious. The hot pepper bacon jam was awesome. Got some to take back home. Very casual and great if you're looking for a laid back lunch and drinks.

I stopped by Bacchus last week with my mom and sister while staying in Corolla. What an outstanding experience! The wine recommendations were spot on, the cheeseboard and sandwiches we shared delicious. We had a delightful conversation with Tony and it was all around a great afternoon spent at Bacchus. We will definitely return next year.

The sandwiches are pretty good, but what really got me was how much fun me and the group had at their wine tasting, what a blast!!!! We also couldn't find a particular wine we were looking for so we talked to the owner, Jess, and she ordered them for us. Overall great experience.

What a gem! You must seek out Bacchus Wine and Beer Bistro. They have a wide selection of the best wines and craft beers. All sorts of goodies to take home and eat. Their made to order sandwich menu is to die for. The people that work there bring this whole package together! Make your way to Bacchus Wine and Beer Bistro, you'll be glad you did!

Bacchus is one of the best places to get lunch or dinner in Corolla. The French Dip is amazing! They have beer on tap, cold beer in the refrigerator, and some of the best wines available. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. For owners, they offer the wonderful service of delivering a delicious chocolate cake to our renters. I love this place!

The is an amazing locally owned space. The owner/staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their wine and products. Every vacation I come down to OBX, I specifically come here to buy high quality wine/cheese at a reasonable price. The wine tastings are always adequate pours and they will cater to your specific tastes. Family oriented locale, I highly recommend stopping in.

We had a fantastic experience coming here for lunch. The cheese plate was to die for (make sure you get some pesto with it!) and the salad and sandwich we ordered were delicious as well. The staff were very personable and seemed to know their beer/wine/cheese selection inside and out.

Overly expensive and not worth it. We got 2 regular sandwiches and 2 kids sandwiches and 3 cooler drinks....it was over $50! That's crazy! The sandwiches were good but not amazing, which they would have to be for that price. Also, neither regular sandwich had the cheese in it, as it was written in the menu.

I'm delighted that such a fine shop has opened among the repetitive seafood, bikini and knick knack shops. No where else on the beach is there anything that compares with Bacchus Wine and Cheese. From the personal service to the enormous selection of wines, cheeses, sandwiches and specialty items to the beautiful decor it is a simple pleasure to visit. Owned by a couple who know what they are doing this place will not disappoint you. I give it five stars.

This wonderful family-run Fine Wine and Beer bistro plus Deli, is a regular stop multiple times a year. They feature a daily selection of choice by-the-glass wines, daily sandwich specials, plus 5-6 by-the-pint beers on tap, and even host private Wine Tastings.

Great little shop. Super friendly and knowledgaknow. Was kind of bare bones because of the offseason but they still had a solid selection. Can't wait to come back in the busy season when their shelves are full.

I dont know where to start.. been coming to obx since 1989 and since my brother and i were able to walk to places ourselves we've been coming to this sandwich shop.. so probably since 1993 best place to eat a sandwich in corolla.. the whole menu is great++ also the wine,cheese,and crackers arent too shabby either!! See u again Bacchus one day. U are shorely missed
