We have boarded our dog here since he was a puppy. The boarding experience was fine. However, during his last experience we asked for grooming (which we’ve done in the past). He was sent home without grooming except a large chunk of fur from behind his ear. The response from Purrfect Paws was that he “was groomed and had a large mat behind his ear”. Rhett is a golden and we’ve NEVER had to cut a mat out of his hair. I brought him back in and it was acknowledged that he wasn’t actually groomed but no response was offered for the chunk of hair removed or why we were charged for the grooming that didn’t occur. Nor did anyone apologize for the inconvenience of bringing him back and spending an hour (travel time included) nor were we offered to be refunded for the grooming that never occurred. Pets are family and if this happened to my daughter I would be just as livid. I no longer trust the care of my dog with this business.

I’m sharing this honest and fair review after a few weeks of thinking about it. I’ve been going to Purrfect Paws for about a year or so and love to support local small businesses. My first groomer Brandon was good, then he left.Two main qualms - communication and customer service.1. Customer service: On one occasion I misheard the pickup time or it was miscommunicated to me. I arrived several hours after my pup’s groomer was complete - basically right after I got off work. When I arrived the front desk employee took a tone that was not professional and spoke over me several times. The customer is not always right but I deserved common courtesy and respect as a paying patron and human being. After some back and forth she agreed to not charge me for boarding and food (which I had no problem paying either way). People have bad days, communication lines get mixed up. Ok.2. Communication: The next grooming session my Cavapoo was returned to me basically with no hair on her tail, and it was shaven unevenly at that. I was pretty shocked. See before/after pictures. My main issue is that no one said anything to me either before or during check out. No one called me prior to advise on the situation or ASK if it could be shaven. In my opinion it’s a significant cosmetic change and I should have been given the opportunity to decline. I’ve combed out matted 4C human hair for three decades and I would have tried to detangle it myself. It was really bothering me so I called the next day to learn more about what happened and got a generic answer that she “must have had a lot of matting”. I’m not denying that she may have had a lot of matting. But I feel like that could have been communicated ideally before or even after the fact. Everyone in my family and friends is shocked at her appearance. I’m disappointed in the lack of communication. This compounded with the poor customer service situation - sadly I will not be returning.

I showed pictures of how I wanted my puppy to be groomed. I even showed the groomer the previous time he got a haircut and I was disappointed. I left stating that I wanted to be able to recognize my dog. Clearly he was unrecognizable. I was told that he was matted and I refuse to believe that as I brush him often. It was raining that morning so when he came in he was wet. Everyone knows you don’t try to comb out hair while it’s wet. I had high hopes to have a consistent/ reliable groomer being that Purrfect Paws was recommended to me. I wish a call would’ve been made before a ridiculous hair cut was made. I think that’s a decision both parties should make TOGETHER. Especially, before having to pay before seeing him. Highly disappointed. Attached are before and after. This is just my opinion, that I wanted to share and rather not be ridiculed.

Daycare outside time is too limited due to weather or otherwise - my dog gets left in a small room the size of an office with 12 dogs in it and no human in the room (supervisor monitors via video apparently). When he’s let outside it seems good otherwise.

I take my dogs here and it’s so clear the staff loves and cares for them! They have such a great time. Could not recommend this boarding facility enough!

I’ve used PURRFect Paws for over a year. My dog has probably done 100 days of daycare and over a dozen multinight stays. They do a great job. Haven’t had a single issue with how they’ve treated my dog. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our dog to PURRfect Paws for the past few years and have had a fantastic experience. The staff is absolutely amazing! They are friendly, very responsive, and most importantly, our dog loves them! They have flexible drop-off and pick-up times as well as half and full day options that work well with our schedule. We have used PURRfect Paws for daycare, boarding and grooming services and have always had a positive experience. I highly recommend them!

The staff at Purrfect Paws are all absolutely wonderful. We’ve been taking our two Standard Poodles there for over two years now and every time I pull into their parking lot our dogs are full of excitement. The staff shows a genuine love for my pets and always keep us informed. We travel frequently and we always have peace of mind while our dogs are boarded at Purrfect Paws.

Just took my 1 yr old golden retriever in for his first groom & I was more than happy!!! They did a fantastic job & took great care of my pup 🙂Extremely easy to book an appointment and they did exactly what I asked for!

First time boarding our puppy and won't go back. My baby got scratched up by other dogs and we were not notified until we went to pick her up. This is unacceptable, what if it was a child??? I did like that we could see her on camera, most of the time, but I didn't like that they blamed her marks on her being aggressive and rough with the other dogs. Please do better with noticing potential danger and notifying the owners ASAP. Now we have to put a cone on her and nurse her back to her previous state before she went there. 😔

I absolutely love Purrfect paws and the staff that works there!! It’s my puppies home away from home. They are professional, affordable, responsive, and reliable! After having a bad experience at another boarding facility I found this place and I feel confident with boarding and weekly daycare! Kayla in particular is amazing & takes top notch care of my boy!

Everyone here is very nice and we trust them with our pets. The live Web cams let's us see our dogs are doing well. Their boarding prices are much lower as compared to other places considering for what they do for your pets during their stay with them. I have recommended them to many people.John J

It happens every time we pull in to Purrfect Paws, my dog is over the moon with excitement! I love taking Addie for daycare, boarding and grooming! I also buy my dog food there and the staff is very knowledgeable on the brands they offer. The staff, takes great care in knowing which dogs are best together. They know Addie will have a great day of fun with her friends Rosie, Ryder, Alice and Baxter. Purrfect Paws is top notch when it comes to keeping my dog safe, clean and extremely happy!!

Amanda did a fantastic job of making my dog look and feel beautiful! I have a rough collie rescue with a thick undercoat, who had never had a spa day, and has some general anxieties. When Amanda was finished, my dog was transformed! Her coat is soft and her skin no longer itches.i can tell my dog feels dog much better! I’m so glad I went to PURRfect Paws!

We have been taking our dog, Magic, to Purrfect Paws, for a few years and we've been very happy with their day care and boarding.Cole, the owner, is personable and professional. The staff really likes dogs and remembers our pooch, which is reassuring.There is a webcam so you can keep an eye on your dog, which is a nice feature.Magic has played with several friends there and the staff finds time to give him some tummy rubs too!Whenever we pick him up from day care or boarding, he is happy, energetic, and seems like he was very well cared for. Typically, he'll then be tired for a day from all the playing, which is kind of nice too. :)I have recommended Purrfect Paws to friends and would do so again. Whether you have a small, medium, or large size dog; a purebred or a mutt, I think you'll find it's a wonderful canine place.

These guys are the best! We have taken our doodle here since he was about 6 months old for grooming and then later started day care. They are always accommodating and amazing to my sweet boy. The groomer is so sweet and does an amazing job and the owner and workers always treat my boy extra special. Love love love this place!

My boy Geordi loves to go to daycare, he gets really excited when he knows where we are going. Since he is a large breed Bernese Mountain Dog I have to be conscientious of the heat, but I have no worries with Purrfect Paws. During the summer he gets outside breaks, but will spend most of his time indoors where it's temperature controlled. They are always watching and rearranging rooms if needed to accommodate your dogs needs, feelings, etc.I will always go here for his Grooming. They always do a fantastic job for a reasonable price.Purrfect Paws is my trusted place for my dog.

I adopted my dog when she was seven. Her first seven years were very difficult, and she was very fearful of everyone. Kelsie has been wonderful with her. She is now one of Annie's friends, and always makes her look beautiful. We will be back for more of Kelsie's TLC soon.

They are the worst dog cleaning service I’ve ever experienced. The place stinks and is really old looking. I picked my dog up from a bath with a de shedding treatment included for extra cost, I kid you not he smelled the same as before and he shedded IMMEDIATELY after getting into my car. The people were nonchalant and lifeless. If I could give a 0 star I could.

We took our puppy here for daycare /boarding for about six months. We started to notice, we could not locate him on the cameras (EVER) they stay in their kennels. Strangely, our puppy never ate while at daycare/boarding.....he would pig out when we got home.The first weekend we were boarding him....we were told we could drop off at 6am....we got there at 6am, only to be told...no, you have to.wait until 8 (we had 9am flights....all of which we discussed with several.staff members prior to the day of drop off. Nothing like being clear across the country not having peace of mind regarding your pet.Fast forward two months....we try this again. We were out of town 4 days and 3 nights. We dropped him off with medications/instructions. We picked up both bottles of meds on the way to Purrfect Paws. He should have been given 9 of one medication and 12 of the other. However, when I picked him up on Sunday ...there was one tablet gone from each bottle. I called to speak to someone about it....I was called a liar....I was told, there were only two dogs being boarded that weekend, with meds. I asked, if maybe meds were mixed up? I was told the owner would return my call upon his return from Hawaii. To date, never got a return call. I called today....and was told, my dog couldnt come back. There was not one question about the incident. ....just, he cant come back. Regardless of wanting him there or not....I'm appalled at the flippant attitude of not providing the promised care, administering meds (as prescribed by vet) .....they just collect the $180 and say screw you.Rejection is Gods protection.Response to Owner: Since, I'm not able to respond or review.One: When I finally spoke with you after waiting two months for a return call....you stated, "our dog could not return because of the last visit." You NEVER mentioned a disregard for policies.How can anyone discuss a problem when you CANNOT be reached? I stopped by, and called.I'm sorry, you feel I used Google to "attack you." That is not my intention.....not at all. However, your response speaks volumes....your story is inconsistent. You/Your staff didnt want to see the proof showing our pets medicine was missed....then, you call me a liar because of my review? Really?As for the MEDICATION, it was absolutely missed. I offered to provide the medicines, and receipts. I was told "no" by your staff....I was also told, you would call me....upon your return from Hawaii. That was September. I have it all documented.We NEVER expected special treatment. We only wanted the care we were promised.... When the topic of neutering was addressed, you and your staff ...said, " he could still attend the daycare/boarding." You offered to seperate him....if other dogs showed aggression towards him.... The intention /entitlement you eluded to....is not true. Our pet has since been neutered.....we waited for our vet to give him a clean bill of health/ ok (An important factor for puppies).I am beyond appalled with the attitude received ...when your staff was questioned. I have/had NOTHING to gain by making that call. NOT ONE THING. Our pet loved Doggie Daycare....I never doubted that. However, as a pet owner trusting anyone with the care of my pet .....I have EVERY right to speak up when something is off.If, I were a "small business owner," I would want to know about "incidents of this nature."
