Puppy Luv is always been so accommodating with our little fur buddies! Out of our 3, one of them can be a little bit difficult, but has calmed down due to the gentle nature of how they groom dogs. The groomers are excellent.

Lindsay is the BEST! I have a Goldendoodle that requires a lot of upkeep and Lindsay always provides me with feedback about how I can better manage her hair in between appointments. She always goes above and beyond and treats my Lola just like she’s her own and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service she provides us 😊

0 stars! I brought my dog in for a cut and he got sick while there so they had to stop in the middle of the cut. They told us we had to wait about a month(!!) to finish the cut they started. They even told us to look somewhere else to find someone who can finish the job they started because they are booked up. I understand it’s not their fault my dog got sick, but to tell your customers “it’s not our fault” and we have to deal with how he looks until something opens up is no consideration to the animal or customers. I will gladly take the company’s advice and take my business elsewhere!

I can’t say enough good things about this place these people are so kind. My dog hates grooming and he’s had some trauma for sure elsewhere. They way the puppy luv staff deals with him is miraculous frankly! I love his cut every single time and these groomers are amazing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Brought my pup here a few months ago to be groomed. I explained to the employees that it was my pups first time ever being at a grooming place. He was there about an hour, and I asked the woman who called back to see how my pup did and she said “not very good”. I paid for a bath, teeth cleaning, nail trim and an ear clearing. I believe the lady I talked to was the owner and she wasn’t very friendly either. When I arrived, my pup was still damp, and his nails were trimmed but not very good. As soon as I walked in I felt judged and all they wanted to go was get my dog out of there. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I've been taking my dogs to Puppy Luv for 3 years now. I have 2 very large German Shepherds and all the staff is super friendly and accommodating with their needs. My dogs always come home super soft and clean! Thanks to all the staff at Puppy Luv!

My dog will ALWAYS go to Puppy Luv Grooming. Point-blank. I love it here, they are so welcoming and friendly. My pup Bentley gets so excited every time we pull into the parking lot. His groomer Rebecca is the best, she always does such a great job on his hair cut. At first, Bentley was very nervous and scared of baths & grooming but, she takes her time and works with him to make him feel more comfortable. And now Bentley LOVES baths & getting groomed. You wont regret taking your pups here, they are just simply the best!

We have taken our doodle to a few places trying to get that perfect cut... Finally we found the right place! Our pup has been here a few times now, and we are consistently pleased with the quality of his cut, the fact that the groomer gives us what we ask for, and that we get the same thing every time. No more wondering what he'll look like when we go back to pick him up! :D

I hate to say that I’m disappointed. I’ve used Puppy Luv since 2020 and over the last year, this place has gone downhill. Constant turnover- my dog went from using one groomer for 2 years who left and has now used 2 more. It’s not consistent quality. I’m frustrated in paying increased prices and never knowing how good the quality of the groom will be.Today, my dog got groomed and she was dropped off at 8:45am. She wasn’t done until 4:15pm. There is no reason a dog should be locked in a cage in the back for 7+ hours. That’s ridiculous. And the groomer failed to even let me know that when I dropped my dog off. I had to call at 2pm and ask how much longer (which was another two hours).It’s sad to say this place is not very professional and doesn’t really have an animals best interests at heart. Otherwise, they would implement a true appointment system or a morning and afternoon drop off. Today was my last visit and I will take my business elsewhere.

I have been taking my two rescue dogs to Rebecca for a few years because we lived right down the road and we have always had great service. My dogs won't let anyone else groom them so even though we moved about 30 minutes away we still see her! They do book out a month or so and the price increases pretty much suck but that's basically everywhere with the cost of everything rising...it's 2023 after all.

My dog, Kyrie, has been coming to PuppyLuv since she was a puppy. She is 3 now. She is very shy and frightened around strangers, but Miss Rebecca and the rest of the crew here have a special way with her and she runs right up to everyone here and lets them pet her. They take extra care to be sure she is comfortable and Kyrie leaves looking and smelling fabulous. They even do teeth and nails! This is the ONLY place I will take my sweet Kyrie.

Very disappointed. This groomer had me go to the vet for pain medicine because they say my dog is in pain. He is 13 years old. I did that. Spent nearly $300. Took him back to the groomer they groomed him, he looked great. But after I paid, they tell me to take him to the vet for grooming. I had to pull it out of them as to why. He can't stand up. It took two of them to groom him. They do a great cut but the professionalism is lacking. I think I'll do it myself. I was reluctant to try another groomer because my dog had been abused by pet smart in the past. This place just confirmed that it's best to just learn to do it yourself.

The groomer did a fine enough job, but I gave specifics about the size and breed of our boy and they quoted us about $80. I really wanted to help a locally owned business but when we picked him up, the price had doubled. When I questioned her, she couldn’t keep her story straight about why it was so much more and even attempted to throw the girl who had groomed him under the bus. We definitely won’t do business with them again. It’s a shame, but at least Petco is clear about their fees.

Jazz was amazing with my little guy! I had a mini trim done for him. The price was very reasonable. Service was pleasant, quick, and compassionate. I think I found my new pup groomer!

Our dog was not groomed so the review is based off poor customer service. We were new to this groomer and waited over a month for an appointment. I was told to drop my dog off between 8-10 for our appointment. We arrived at 9:15 and we were then told we were late. They refused to groom our dog and I explained to them I was told a drop off time of 8-10. Regardless it was only 15 minutes after 9. They also told me they tried to call me for an appointment reminder but my number was disconnected. After they reviewed the number I informed them that the number written down was incorrect. I pointed out that there were obviously two errors on be half of the person I spoke to the day I scheduled the appointment. Regardless they were not willing to accommodate us despite the error on their end nor offer anything other than a simple reschedule.

I gave 3 stars because the groomers do great work, however they are not professional when it comes to receiving requests from customers. To make a long story short; I've taken my 2 poodles here for years. When I purchased 2 more poodle pups and brought them for their 1st visit, they were given a partial groom; feet, eyes and rear end trim. I understand the reasoning, because this was their 1st cut. However that information was wasn't given to me until after I came to picked them up. After that, they had a Vet appt. and the Doctor stated that one of their ears weren't cleaned good and to ask the groomer to remove the hair. Therefore at the next grooming visit, I asked the front desk person (Who I think is the owner) and the groomer. Well, the groomer seemed annoyed with my request and said, I did what I could do! What type of response is that?! Of course, I was taken aback. As a business owner myself, informed her how unprofessional her response is and that I just wanted to make sure the hair is removed from the pups' ears because one of them had an ear infection. At this point, the owner didn't allow my pups to be serviced and told me there wasn't any other groomers available and that my assigned groomer wouldn't be able to service us today. She was willing to make an appointment for another date. However, if you've been to Puppy Luv before, then you know how booked out they are. I had to make an emergency appointment elsewhere because the last appointment my pups were never completely trimmed and they had a lot hair. What a huge inconvenience. I considered going back to Puppy Luv, but honestly, there's too many groomers out here to accept one who's unappreciative of me as a long-term committed customer.

The owner even gives me a tip about how to comb my dog Happy. Thank you so much for taking care of my Happy. As matter of fact, my dog's name is Happy.

I'm appalled and so disgusted at this place. They did not treat my dog with any respect. They called me to tell me that he wasn't doing well. He only had diarrhea! I took him to the vet everything was fine and cleared. When we returned to this idiotic groomer, they said we would have to wait until mid October! They already started cutting him and just left him and said to us to find another groomer!!! That is ridiculous!! Very Expensive and down right rude! Had dogs all my life and this groomer sucks!!! In order to post, I did not want to put a star because they don't deserve anything.

A friend of mine recommended “Puppy Luv” dog grooming since I recently relocated to Cornelius. My dog, “Jameson”, a 12-year old Golden Retriever, can be difficult to handle due to his age and weight. The staff and groomers treated him with upmost love and affection as if he were their own dog. I’m a dedicated customer from now on.

We always received a great cut at Puppy Luv and my dog seemed to be comfortable going there. However, beware of large increases without being notified. I was never verbally informed that there would be an increase at my next dog’s appointment. I understand that inflation is an issue everywhere, and I would have been ok with paying a fair increase, however I was shocked when I picked up my dog and hit with a $40 increase-almost 35% more than our previous visits. I reached out to the owner and was basically told that I was clearly mistaken as they made sure they told all of their last customers at their last visit. I was also notified that this was posted multiple places including their social media. First of all not everyone has social media, and secondly the posts mentioned an increase but it is very vague and not specific of what percentage or cost that would be at. An increase of 35% needs to be specific. The business does not put the customer first and will certainly not take blame for any miscommunication. Again, we love the care they gave to our dog, but just be prepared to receive subpar treatment, even as a long term customer. We will certainly not return.

My name is Amy and I have been bringing my babies to Puppy Luv Dog Grooming for several years now and am IN LOVE!! Such wonderful people and atmosphere there. In the past I had 2 shih tzu brothers, one of which had a slip disk in his upper back and a slip disk in his lower back. They used extreme caution and gentleness with him so as to not aggravate his back. He and his brother were always happy to see Samantha and the others at Puppy Luv. Currently, I still have 1 of the 2 shih tzus and have since adopted 2 husky brothers and a golden retriever boy and all go to Puppy Luv for their grooming needs every 5-6 weeks. To keep them all on the same Saturday, I book my appointments 4 months in advance as I know they are busy and have a lot of clients that also love them. My shih tzu has had some slight skin issues, such as being flakey and slight bacteria, and they have offered suggestions on which shampoos are best for taking care of his skin. I would highly recommend Puppy Luv to anyone. They are the best and it means the world to me that my babies enjoy going there!!!!

If you want to pay $60 to have your puppy shaved, this is your place! The groomer we used here was not friendly towards us or our puppy. We asked her to not shave her down but she did it anyway. We didn’t even recognize our own dog when we picked her up after 6 hours of being there. 6 hours to be shaved?! I do not recommend Puppy Luv.
