I called ahead to verify the cat I was interested in was still available. I drove from South Charlotte to Cornelius (about 30 mins) only to see an adoption pending sign. I tried to ask the girl at the front about it but she wouldn’t look at me, was rude, and had an attitude. She was sweet to the lady after me that was her complexion. I left feeling awful, but decided to go back in and speak to a different staff. The guy verified the cat was adopted in the morning & that I should consider the Black cat. I’ll leave it there. If I could I would give no stars.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Took my puppy here for a grooming appointment (March 2023) by Paige. After about 3 hours, I was called to be informed that my puppy was “being aggressive trying to bite multiple times” and they couldn’t finish. When I picked him up, both the lady at the desk and the groomer seemed very nonchalant and engaged in minimum conversation. When I got home, I noticed blood on his front paw from a nail being clipped too short. I called back and was told all groomers were gone for the day. The manager called me back saying Paige said he went back into the clippers and it did bleed and they used quick stop. I asked why none of this wasn’t mentioned during pickup and I was told “the groomer may have forgotten.” If you want an honest, quality grooming experience, look elsewhere because this isn’t the place.

Very helpful staff when coming to visit and adopt our Theodore. We saw him on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Animal Control website and found that he was being held here. We were able to meet and greet him. We came back the next day to pick him up.He's perfect and we had a great experience adopting versus going to Animal Control, which I'm sure would have been a nightmare.

I called the store told them I wanted to adopt a cat, they didn’t let me know that I could put the cat on hold, came in and asked the lady about the cat and she had the worst attitude and said someone else is coming in and picking it up later because they put the cat on hold, it felt a little discriminatory in my opinion, the way she looked and acted towards me.

It’s a Pet Store. They didn’t havewhat I needed but I found other things to replace the things I thought I needed. However the food was a necessity that they didn’t have. But 5 stars just for effort and having fun squeeze toys.

I’ve been coming to this location for years with my pets to have their nails clipped. Never have I ever been told I needed an appointment until today. The young girl standing at the counter without a sole in the store tells me they’re two weeks out. I said I’ve never been told this or my business turned away before and she ignored me before replying I need an appointment. It’s a shame that this location treats customers like this and then wonder why people don’t frequent their establishment anymore. Very poor customer service by yet another young person who doesn’t understand the importance of customer service. A 5 minute service cost them a customer for life.

Walked into the store, was greyed and assisted immediately. Have to give a shout out to Matt C. as he waff the best help if I ever needed any.I came into the store looking for fish and no idea what I was doing. Matt was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the best fish; for an aquarium I previously purchased, and taught me a lesson about aggressive and schooling fish. Matt also helped me pick out the proper food and chemicals needed to treat ther water for our new fish friends.The fish are happily swimming at home!!! Thanks

Very clean. One of the smallest petsmarts. I've been to. Alot of parking. Dog friendly. Easy to get in out of Herr. Good selection of inventory for how small the store is. The store was very clean. And the bathrooms were well stocked and clean.

This store is very, very small compared to other locations and most of their stock is super low but the associates are very friendly and nice. This location is convenient but only if you can find what you need.

I made a good decision choosing this business. It was my dog's first groom in my care. Nice and informative staff. Their atmosphere is welcoming. My dog was comfortable as I left her in their care. I returned for pick up after a text alert. Awesome job the groomer did!! My dog was happy. Prices are reasonable. I didn't break the bank. This is now my go to place.

Poor customer service. Some of the staff could care less about customer service. Kim and the one groomer are rude. THEY COULD CARELESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! It takes four hours to get your dog groomed even when you made an appointment. Kim and the groomer told me my dog is no longer allowed to get groomed there. This is kind of funny because another customer just said the same thing! Where is the regional manager? I have been loyal to that store for five years! Good job Petsmart in offending a loyal customer. I will take my business elsewhere.

My dog went there to be groomed. I was called to pick my dog up after about 1 1/2 hrs. The groomer realized she had not brushed his teeth. 😖😡 She took my dog in the back and brought him back in 10 minutes. I was a lil upset about that! I was not really impressed with the brushing routine.One thing I can say is the employees were very helpful, friendly and professional! The store had some great sales but I was looking for Bil Jac dog food and they don't carry it. Was a little upset about that!

Nice size store and usually polite staff. We would go out of our way to visit this store for nail grinds and grooming but recently the customer service has gone down hill. If you call ahead they won’t let you book an appointment for ‘just’ nails. If you walk in the wait is long and are told to book an appointment...except they tell you on the phone they don’t take appointments. I think we’re done with this store, I understand being busy but then be honest when we call ahead and try to be accommodating.

The PetSmart Groomer Paige Wilson, at the Cornelius NC Salon, was so down to earth and wonderful with ALL THREE DOGS AT ONCE it was comforting. She is by far the most experienced groomer we have ever had in over 25 years of pets. She really cares about my dogs and it shows through her work product. Paige took into consideration the history and health of each of my dogs with the selection and use of the most appropriate and safest products for each individual pet. Her professionalism and recommendations for proper care and maintenance of the dogs between grooming is invaluable. I just love her, HELL my dogs love her. She is a keeper and will get my unqualified recommendation to my friends and family. She earned it.C. Barone

I called on Friday night about adopting a kitten. I was told they weren't available until 1pm the next day and it was first come first serve. I showed up at 1pm and no one was in the store but the kitten was already pending adoption. Not very professional of the store employees, I would leave 0 stars if I could.

The store is very small so it can’t house all the products the larger stores can. The employees were helpful but seemed to have an uninviting or standoffish demeanor to them. I will go back to this store if I don’t have time to go to the Mooresville location.

Paige did such a great job grooming our 3 yr old golden retriever, Bella! We had never gotten Bella groomed before, so I was very nervous about what to expect, but the questions that Paige asked at drop off put my mind at ease. She did a fantastic job of getting rid of some bad mats, and cleaning up her whole coat all while keeping the classic golden retriever cut.

The male employee at this location was very helpful. I think his name was Steven. He helped me select food for my cat and toys for my cat. He was mindful of my pocketbook and showed me what was on sale. He helped me select toys that were fun. He signed me up for the point system so now I can save in the future. He is wonderful. He was there tonight in Cornelius. I would highly recommend going to the store. They are very knowledgeable and helpful

I love this Petsmart store and especially my Jennifer, my Sonny’s groomer. I risk telling you how great she is because I won’t get an appointment time.🤔 Her talent plus calm demeanor is impressive. It’s in the teamwork of a smaller store creates a great experience for me and pup. Thank you!!
