New to the area and have been searching for someone I can trust to take care of my pup’s grooming needs. We had such a great first-time experience and will most definitely be going back! My pups are a lot to handle; both are rescues and one of them has a major fear of water and the other is dog aggressive. They assured me that they were comfortable handling them. They took great care of them and I felt very comfortable leaving them there. They did a great job with them. Both came out looking and smelling great. My dogs are very important to me and I am very particular with who I trust to take care of them. I most definitely recommend Pawsitively Pampered Pets of Huntersville! Also love the fact that they run their own rescue group and save so many pups from high kill shelters. If looking for great grooming care for your pups, don’t hesitate taking them here! Sheriff and Willa say thanks for taking such great care of us and making us look great!

I am fostering a Yorkshire Terrier mix who is about 1 yo. He lived tied up in the backyard until he was relinquished. He was not house trained, leash trained or crate trained. He is nervous around folks he does not know. They are very committed to rescue and fit him in even though they were short staffed and just opened again. He went from a shaggy boy to beautiful!

This place is amazing! Scott is amazing at guiding you through the food choices and making the best decision for your budget and dog! He truly knows his stuff, and isn't pushy AT ALL but gives you facts about the food he carries and why it may be best to switch to a different food based on your dogs needs. Christie has been grooming my Emma for probably over a year now and she does an amazing job every time! She listens to what I want, and Emma always comes out looking SO clean and smells awesome for weeks! They truly care about your animals health, and I 100% trust them with Emma every time! She is also very anxious and dog aggressive and they have never had any issues with her!

Kristi, Scott and their team are simply amazing!!!! I found this groomer when I first moved to Huntersville Back in 2016, only 4 mins from the shop.. and they’ve been great with my Chloe (12 yr old Puggle) ever since!! Their love truly extends to your “family member” while they are in PPP’s care!!! Just all around Great People! In addition they do a great job. They have reduced Chloes shedding ridiculously!! In fact I recently moved to the south side of Charlotte and will still drive 35-40 mins for my Chloe! We did initially find a groomer that I really liked on the South side, but for some reason, Chloe had a lot of anxiety accidents there. However, Chloe actually gets excited when she sees Kristi and her team every other week!!! Grade A Service (always calls back if I leave a message), Grade A Love for our “family members”!! We tried a few different groomers when we first got our dog and finally settled here - they are great with our nervous pup and take the time to get to know both pet and owners. They once were so very gracious as to open up a kennel for an hour to help a vising family member's dog so they didn't have to leave him in a hot car during a stop. Great locally-owned place that does a great job and treats your dog with the love you would!

Would recommend to anyone! This is the second time I have had my pup (mini Bernedoodle) cut and pampered here. The staff is so friendly and my pup always comes home happier with his fresh new coat. They do such an AMAZING job!!! Happy with the price too.

Absolutely love this place! My baby's first grooming appointment ever went perfectly. He came out cut exactly as asked, with no cuts or injuries as I've heard with other groomers recently. I was so afraid to take him but absolutely no need at this place!! We will go see Pawsitively Pampered regularly!

Took a $40 deposit, turned out my cats rabies was expired. Didn’t allow me to reschedule so I could get his rabies. Said I needed to pay another deposit. Wow. Even a week would have helped…

These ladies are the BOMB. They have groomed my 25lb terrier Benji twice now and have done an absolutely amazing job both times. Benji requires extra patience and compassion at the groomer due to some traumas in his past, and I am very comfortable leaving him with Pawsitively Pampered. They really took the time to listen to my/Benji's needs beforehand which added to my trust in them. You can see their passion and experience level in their work. Benji always comes home with a super cute bandana and smelling awesome- the doggy "perfume" also seems to last several days, bonus! Highly recommend this business, thank you Pawsitively Pampered!

My very senior dog came out of his grooming without being stressed out. He was there for only two hours! (A welcome change) I’m so impressed with the timing, the cut and care, but most of all how unstressed he was with his visit. He had been there a few weeks before for a drop in (call first to make sure they are still there) nail trim. It was quick and he wasn’t stressed with that in and out visit either! We have gotten our Orijens food there for the last four years, but this was our first grooming. Excellent work!

We brought our 1 year old labradoodle Winston in to get groomed. He has long fur and a lot of it and it was incredibly matted, even after our attempts at brushing him daily. We were certain our pups would have to be shaved. When I dropped him off I spoke with the groomer and told her to do what she needed to do. I asked if at all possible save some of the length, but I had made my peace if he needed to be shaved. After 3 hours and 3 groomers working on our boy, my husband brought Winston home as a clean smelling, FLUFFY boy! I was totally overjoyed! In addition it was a nice looking cut that fits his breed. I highly recommend Pawsitively Pampered Pets! We are so appreciative of the time and effort they gave Winston and the quality of their work earns an A+

Very disappointed to be writing this review... I took my dog here a few times and it seemed decent. The people were nice and friendly, however, the last time I took him there, they cut his hair and did not wash him! I didn’t realize this until we got home when I notice my dog was smelly and very itchy! Mind you, he was NOT itchy before I took him there... very concerning. So after spending roughly $50 and a tip, my husband had to come home from work and wash our dog since he was extremely itchy. I was wondering why they work so fast, 1.5hrs compared to where i took him to in our previous state it took them 3-3.5 hours and it was the same price! Very frustrating. I will not be returning here.

There was a misunderstanding with the booking of my cats appointment. The lady who called me today appeared to be very rude to me toward something I knew nothing about. It’s so funny that I was very apologetic and professional with her however she was very nasty and unprofessional with me and hung up while I was talking. If you’re the one I spoke to today be lucky that you caught me on a good day because I could’ve very easily went off on you for your attitude toward me from something that WAS NOT my fault! Thank your gods and entities around you especially after I was very apologetic over something that had nothing to do with me. In the future don’t do it again, watch how you speak to people. My dog is a rescue and very afraid of everyone. This is the ONLY PLACE I am able to take her to get her nails cut. 3 vets have turned her down because she was too afraid and they couldn’t handle her. The owners Trish and Scott are extremely patient and kind! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My friend suggested I go into Pawsitively Pamered Pets because I got a new puppy and had some questions about food. They were so knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable especially for the amazing quality of the food! We also found a sweater small enough for our sweet puppy! Our older dachshund has very itchy skin and they were very helpful in suggesting what we should do for her! I would highly recommend this store! They are so kind, friendly and knowledgeable!

We take our dogs here for grooming and to pick up our Primal raw food. Kristy does a great job with the grooming EVERY time and they have been so accommodating with stocking more variety of Primal. They really care about the dogs and show them fantastic care and concern. Keep up the great job guys. 😊

We are very disappointed in the service we had done today. We took our short haired terrier for a trim and nail clip over the summer and had a great experience, so I was looking forward to coming back. However, today was chaotic. There were barking dogs at the door preventing us from entering. The female receptionist, who was not the same from the summer, seemed confused and disoriented and said I wasn't in the schedule even though I scheduled the appt a week ago. The groomer did tell me they were running behind which was no problem. When I picked my dog up later, I noticed blood on the car seat. Then, I saw his belly and was really upset. His skin is severely irritated with red bumps arounf his groin and there are multiple blood stains on my car. Unfortunately we will not be using this groomer again and I would not recommend this business to others. The service is inconsistent and unreliable.

Took our 6 year old 85 pound husky to be bathed and de shedded and I'm so impressed!! We have taken her other places before and she has never come back as nice as today. Usually fur will start to show falling within a few hours but even still now there is none. They clearly took the time to really deshed her and did a fabulous job. This was our first time and we will absolutely be back! Thank you!!

Kelly does a beautiful job with my two shih tzus every time we come. She works with their matted areas, they always are cut perfectly, she really listens. I love they care. The fact they advocate for so many dogs in need of adoption further pushes me to promote them. They care. It’s heartwarming.

My dog was HOSPITALIZED after he left this groomer. The vet believes he was dropped off the grooming table. Took both of my boys here for the first time and was extremely disappointed. The owner's husband, Scott, said both the dogs would take around 3-4 hours to groom maybe longer because it would be their first time. Less than 2 hours later they called and said the dogs were ready. When picking them up, both dogs were in distress and the owner just complained about how awful they were. Both dogs were being swarmed by at least 7-10 other big dogs that were also barking in their face's. My dogs hate other dogs and that's exactly why they acted like that. The owner could have called me and explained the situation and I would have been understanding. Instead, she did patchy work and cut the back leg of one my dogs. I then had to go home myself and continue to trim them. One of the dogs keeps yelping in pain because he strained his neck while in their care. Never using their services again and will for sure be telling everyone in the area.

We have three dogs and one of them is just a mess. Our dog Moo hates everything and everyone. So when her vet decided to stop offering nail trim services outside of main appointments we were worried. We are so lucky to have found Kristy. Moo loves her and Moo doesn't like anything! Lol! We have been using Kristy for grooming needs for over a year and have loved every visit. Kristy really cares about the dogs and each of their quirky personalities. Both Kristy and her husband Scott have always been so attentive and welcoming. I recommend them to everyone who is looking for a groomer, nail trims or just great products for their pets. One of our boys Cooper has severe allergies and we are even able to find treats that he can eat in their retail store. Kodiac enjoys visiting with Kristy and Scott's furry kids. He loved Alabama who we will miss greatly and always sniffs out Blue and Tripp when we arrive. I can't say enough great things about Kristy and Scott!

I take my Aussie and my Yorkie to be groomed by Krysti. She is the absolute best groomer we ever used! On top of being an excellent groomer, she truly cares about my dogs and is gentle with them. They love going into the store. They have a big selection of high quality food and treats. Scott is very knowledgable about those products.
