I bring my 2 puppies to Alpha Dog and the faith I have in Katie that my ZuChon & Pomeranian are going to be well cared for and safe and well groomed has never wavered in the 2 years I have been a customer. My girls always arrive back home happy, beautiful and most importantly SAFE! Katie gives you an individualized experience. She treats my pups as if they were her own. She follows my directions about how I want the girls to look and makes suggestions because she is the expert and I have full trust. I would never bring my girls anywhere else!

What a great place to bring your fur babies. Katie has decades of experience in grooming, all the way back from NY when she'd take care of my baby. She has wonderful patience and love for your pets. I'm in awe at what a fantastic job Katie did in making the store unique, quaint & comfy for all your pet needs. Almost all done by her own hands. Good luck & much success to Alpha Dog!

Katie is absolutely amazing and truly loves what she does. Blitz, our 6-year-old dog has always loved going there. He leaves fresh and happy! Katie is an excellent communicator; she reviews her notes, clarifies what we want, makes great recommendations, and is a good listener. Blitz's cut looks great and is exactly what we wanted, with great attention to detail.She even went as far as having Blitz come in (even after hours) to clean his wound/trim the hair around it after a boarding situation we had elsewhere. I sent her a picture of Blitz and his wound, and she insisted she wanted him to come in so she could clean him up. It was from the kindness of her heart she truly cares for these fur babies.I highly recommend Alpha Dog Salon to anyone who wants their babies well cared for. Katie always goes above and beyond.

I love this place. I have been bringing my 6 year old Pom Jack here for over 6 months and now our new baby Luna went for her first cut ever the other day. She came out perfect: they are truly professional. And not only that, but they can fit you in if you are having an emergency or something just came up, NO other groomer around here or in Charlotte ever can do that. You better call weeks in advance and that’s if they are even taking new clients! I love the staff, they’re sweet and professional and my pups are pretty and happy upon leaving!

I cannot express how amazing my experience has been with Alpha Dog Salon!My dog Remi, was a victim of abuse at a local groomer in huntersville- leaving him with a BROKEN jaw!Needless to say, I’ve been very choosy with whom I take him to.I experienced love, patience and kindness from all the employees, especially the owner, Katie.Remi was well cared for and I was sent photos along the way!They have my business for life !If you want your dog treated like family, I highly suggest Alpha Dog!!

Alpha Dog at your own RISK!We've had our Newfoundland mix (long haired dog) groomed there several times with no problem.  This time when we came to pick him up we were SHOCKED, it looked like he had been shaved!  When confronted, she argued he's not shaved, I guess hair too short to grab with your fingertips doesn't mean shaved to her.  We gave her an out, suggesting that maybe she was busy and mixed up our instructions with another customer. She just got snippy.  She insisted we asked her to do it and in the same breath said she always cut the hair consistent with the breed.  She could see how shocked and upset we were with the cut, obviously we did not ask for or expect this.We won't be back - go there only at your own dog's risk!

I have been trying for MONTHS to get my puppy in somewhere for grooming in the cornelius area. Alpha dog was the only place we called that had a reasonable wait time for an appointment. they got me in within less than three weeks of calling, which is a lot better than having to wait months like the other places I called. Not to mention my dog was so nervous at first, but as soon as she walked in she was SO excited. Great environment for pups, and she looks/smells amazing. I will continue to take her to AD!!! Thank you guys so much

Katie has been grooming my Dog Della since she was a puppy when we met her in Long Island, NY. Then we moved to Cornelius and tried many places but still always missed the stellar service and Katie has very good sense of style that pertains to each and every dog, my wife and I love that about her grooming. Imagine our surprise when we found out she moved to Cornelius and opened alpha dog!!!! Those that love their dogs like children know we only want the best for our babies and Katie is the best IMO. We can’t recommend a better person to entrust your pet to and she’s honest! We just love her.

My experiences with Katie the owner and groomer have been professional and beyond my expectations. She has an amazing demeanor with animals that puts them at ease. She uses top quality shampoos and conditioners and uses different products for different dog breeds. My dog always came out beautiful, soft, shiny and smelling wonderful. The owner of Alpha Dog Salon is a true lover of animals, she takes great care of all of the fur babies that come through her doorway. My German Shepard was always treated with great care, and always came out of Alpha dog so handsome, he smelled so good, and she always used top notch products. I love that they specialize in large breeds. It's annoying to go to a groomer and then find out they have a 50lb weight limit. Thank you, our Siberian Husky always looks great when he comes home from Alpha Dog.

I brought a dog to the salon who had many mats. The groomers work with the dog to carefully remove the mats and clean the hair. The dog came back happy and smelling great.
