Purchased the shaved steak today, went home straight away to grill it on our flat top, added fresh provolone, seasonings and it had an odd smell while cooking but thought maybe just need to have it cooked thru, well no, took one bite on the fresh hoagie roll and it tastes like wet dog! Went to take it back 1 hour after I just bought it, with receipt and photos of product, first off, not once does the cashier at this store greet you with a smile or even a hello...the request for our money back was not very pleasant, I wasn't even asked what was wrong with it, they were very busy, which I understand with only two people working, this store typically gets long lines with 1 employee at the cashier.. the employees are not very friendly that check you out, the only Aldi that I encounter that are not friendly.. the Moorseville's employees are awesome.. same with Huntersville, and Denver ..Cornelius staff always seems like you're putting them out, and rarely have a smile on their face.. maybe they are overworked and short staffed but they definitely shouldn't take it out on the locals who shop there, I plan to shop at the Moorseville one in the future..which is super depressing because this is only 5 mins from home!

There is a very concerning incident involving potentially contaminated Brussels sprouts from Aldi, which may cause illness in your family and did in mine. Despite contacting the store and corporate, receiving an emailed gift card for a refund, efforts to use it were unsuccessful by the Cornelius store and manager. We have also reported the issue to the FDA. I have been sick since last Wednesday and went to the doctor today. I understand someone can get sick from produce at any store, but Aldi in the store in Cornelius did nothing to make it right and we are going the extra mile to make sure no one gets sick from their products, ever again. Considering this, seeking assistance from local health authorities or a consumer protection agency might be beneficial to address this matter comprehensively and prevent further incidents for anyone reading this. No one is covering this. And the store manager said “I have never seen that before” regarding an online emailed gift card from corporate regarding our issue with an apology. So the Aldi at Cornelius did not honor our gift card.Also, the Brussel sprouts are currently up front and say “buy more save more” to make it all the better.I also went to the doctor today, still in pain 6 days later.I would love a response or an email or a phone call from your manager because all aldi corporate is very aware of our situation. If you are not you can give me your customer service email below and I’d be happy to email you our contact information for you to call us to get this review deleted. Otherwise, it is not being deleted because it is true.

Quite an experience for a first timer. 😀 Everything in boxes, and bring your own bags. You put everything on the conveyor to the cashier, and the cashier rings up items and puts them in the shopping cart.You pay and move to a counter and put your groceries in your bags. Also, bring a quarter to get a cart outside and return it outside to get your quarter back. Fresh produce and always great prices! It's actually fun once in awhile and after you figure it out. Quite the savings if you don't mind the system. 😀

I just recently moved to this area, and it was my first time in an Aldi in general. I only needed a handful of things and as I went through the ONE lane that was open, another customer was behind me nudging me with her cart to keep moving forward. I literally couldn’t as the person in front of me hadn’t even finishing paying for their items yet. The Cashier seen what was happening and proceeded to tell ME that I needed to be patient. Both the customer behind me AND cashier were very rude. The woman cashier with red hair had an attitude and rushed me to get my 5 items out of the cart. I will not be returning due to the service and atmosphere of this place and recommend others to do the same.

man working tonight is very rude.. first time i’ve shopped here and i asked how are you ect. being friendly as he met me at the register saying nothing. i realized i didn’t bring a bag to put my groceries in, and said oh no i didn’t realize to bring my own bag! he goes “oh well.” and pushes my cart towards me as in ok now bye! how rude…

Always a very clean, if not the cleanest food store I have shopped. Personnel always polite and helpful. And produce (such as bell peppers, actually a fruit) put all other stores to shame. And the 4 start instead of a 5? They could, on occasion, open up another check out.

Cashiers are Rude ! Everything is very good, the prices, the fruits, the excellent brands, Only the attention of the staff at the moment of paying is terrible, The cashiers take care of throwing all the fruits and the bread into the cart. I do not like that Aldi-style Policy, it mistreats me fruit and bread sometimes even breaks they should be more careful when they put the products in the carts, DO NOT MISTREAT the products sometimes I think they are upset! Today they broke my bread. BE MORE CAREFUL

Excellent price on produce. This is a new store so it's still very clean and tidy. All these are basic but they have a lot of staples at great prices. Fun German products along with interesting stuff from other parts of the world as well as interesting non-Grocery items cycled in on a weekly basis, most also at great prices.

There seems to be a love-hate relationship with Aldi. Most love it. We love it! Food selection is limited if you normally shop the high end mega-markets, but the food they offer is good quality at a fraction of the cost at their competitors. Lots or organic options, fresh produce and seasonal merchandise too.

This location is very close to my office but every time I stop in I regret it. They’re always out of common Aldi products but most of all the staff here is very rude. Had a cashier today that micro managed me from the second I stepped line. So unnecessary. She obviously needed a break or a Snickers bar. Will take my business elsewhere.

So many years shopping in Aldi's, great experience except for this store in Cornelius. The grouchy cashier, you successfully decided for me to shop at the Mooresville store, although I work in Cornelius. She threw the groceries into the cart, she placed the paper bags and the plastic bags under the groceries so I had to fish them out before I can use them. Never again.

Giving this place two stars because I believe the staff wants to be helpful but they're highly understaffed. I'm an instacart shopper and I can tell you from talking to other shoppers we avoid this store like the plague. It's notoriously out of product and if it is available it's a nightmare to find. The shelves are disgusting or in disarray. If you ask where something is you're lucky if someone is around to point in some general direction to where it is but mostly the staff doesn't know either. I generally lose money and time going here unless instacart boasts the payment which they normally have to in order to get us to pick up orders here. Please Aldi if you care at all can you rectify these issues?

This is a very nice and well kept supermarket. It has "always low prices" on all items. You will be able to get most items you need though selection of choices is limited. I highly recommend this supermarket if you want to save money!

Brand new store. I generally like Aldi but then Lidl came along. Aldi needs to revamp their store entries. There's often congestion because foods start almost right at the door and it stalls traffic. I'll still shop here because it's the reasonably priced neighborhood grocer. But when I have time to get over to Concord, it's the other store for me.
