Never knew a quick stop for one item could be so frustrating. Tried to buy gas for a leaf blower and one of the cans had already been opened! Also, nobody at checkout counter despite 4 people working. After five minutes, overheard someone say, “They are not going anywhere.” I was finally able to check out after 10 minutes. This was onlybecause a customer covered for the employee making paint. Haha. Is it really professional for a customer to make paint?

Love this store and employees are great. The remodel they did is really nice!!!!!They sell fresh trees, all greenery and a wonderful Holiday decorating department, bird feeding, bbq, rakes and gardening department. Stop by and see their offerings!! We always stop when we are in town!!

My husband needed his pruning shears sharpened so I decided to tag along. I stood in the exit door (no one was exiting) when suddenly one of the employees opened the front exit door into my back. I was startled but since I had already had my hand on the camera app- I completed the pic. It was a split second but she told me to step aside or something like that. Wow! I felt that was rude. But maybe she didn’t mean anything by it. I told the cashier that all I was trying to do is a review of their store. I think of the traffic that goes into Lowes and I thought why not help ACE by sharing. This little odd thing that happened with the employee was small, won’t stop us from supporting them.But maybe it’s something this employee can think about and be a bit more nicer to customers. I was in the exit door. I thought. Oh well.PSMy husband says they also sharpened his lawnmower blade a few months ago. He says they do a nice job!They also carry the consumer favorite - Yeti products.There are more goodies here including Weber. Check them out!

Amazing people. I went to get a duplicate key and they did an excellent job. The shop folks were very helpful, answered all my questions and even offered to get me a replacement for free if the key doesn't work - remember I went there for a single key. No wonder these guys are highly recommended in that area...

This is a great place to find just the right thing and get the help to find just the right thing and then the patience and ability to explain how to use just the right thing.Truly an old fashioned hardware store that not only provides the service but also at a great price. A great selection of products as well

Surly customer service. The smiles are disingenuous, and it feels like they really don't want to serve the customer. Besides that, the prices are much higher than the big box stores.

I bought a blower and a lawn trimmer , at the time I got home the battery did not work, I came back to the store where I bought it (Cornelius NC), and the manager just said that it is not their responsibility so he told me to claim it to the manufacturer of the brand I bought, this is it respectful to a Custumer I will never buy anything in any of Ace stores, the worst Custumer service of all.

Great place shop in store or online! Best delivery service and way better than big box. Bought a new Weber grill just before July4th. They were literally loading it on the delivery truck while I was in line paying for it. Arrived just after I got home. Ordered a meat grinder from them online that delivered to store. Had it delivered to house. Delivered same day it arrived at store. Oh, and both deliveries were free as a rewards member. Love it and no hassle!!!!

Everyone is so nice and helpful at Ace. I will say that their plants are all brought in from local growers, which I love! If you need anything special they'll get it for you. Just a great store!

I try to shop here (local vs big box) but it's ridiculous to only have 1 cashier and 2 people on the floor at 1pm on a Saturday. Do better Ace Hardware smh

Just wanted to shout out to this location! They are always so helpful and truly a sweet group of people! I spoke with a lady for about 20 mins and ended up purchasing some Christmas lights. When we walked out she ended up coming out of the store to wish us a Merry Christmas. It’s the kind hearted little things that will make me a customer for life. Keep up the good work and down to earth attitude!

Decent selection of stuff and decent prices but the customer service is usually very awkward. I arrived 20 minutes before close and an employee in the front was leaning on a display asking me what I was looking for in a very aggressive tone. I said I'm looking for the garden section and he kept asking questions while being passive aggressive so I just walked away. I then heard him and another employee talking about how customers expect them to stay open past their close time and that it was "so annoying". I left prior to them closing without purchasing anything because it felt like they did not want anyone to come in. This is very typical of the way they treat their customers based off the few times I've been here.

Terrible customer service!! They have a sign up saying no returns on lights and they will happily test them for you. Well we got nothing but attitude from the rude cashier. She told us to just take them home and try it, but the sign still says No Returns for any reason. She finally tested the lights with as much attitude as possible. I’ll try and avoid this Ace if possible if this is how they treat their customers. I have a better experience with much more friendly people at Lowe’s and Home Depot.
