Limited selection at this location. The Employee positioned at the front entrance was observing people but not greeting them. I was using a scooter that had an issue and headed back up to the front of the store to exchange it. I told her of the issue and she didn't acknowledge me or the issue. As a former Manager in a different grocery store I am very observant. The produce I camefor was wilted and the only reason I'm even giving 3 stars is because the young employee at the checkout was very kind and polite.

The shelves were stocked wonderfully most everything was in except for Food Lion Cola all sold out but it always is since everything went up everything was real clean in the store I enjoyed being able to find everything I needed there were actually employees walking around that were helping people wonderful store I recommend this one to everyone

Their deli is hit or miss, with service being denied 30 minutes earlier or more than what they're listed as supposed to be closing at.

No stars, deli said they were closed at 7:30, it was 7:40. Asked a guy in the meat department and he said the deli closes at 8pm. So the deli employees lied and wouldn't help me with my cold cuts. I used to work in a deli and that would never happen at that place. You don't clean everything 30 minutes early so you can leave at 8. I stood there for 5 minutes being ignored and finally had to ask several times.. the one guy was doing trash and said.. I am just doing the trash.. then yhe girl on the phone taking a cake order even after they are supposedly closed piped up and said.. oh we close at 7:30.. the other woman worker wouldn't even acknowledge me standing there. This is unacceptable and I will never go back to this food lion.

Had a good meal at Fu-Ji. Chubbies is off the hook too. We come here all the time. Very safe. Seems clean. Several restaurants to choose from. Food Lion.

I'M SO ANGRY with Food Lion! They've raised their prices again. I very rarely write negative reviews. I went in to buy only one item - WASA rye crackers. They just raised the price AGAIN, from $3.00 to $3.69. That's a 23% increase since my last visit. I used to buy these 8 years ago for $1.59. So I put everything back and walked out of the store in disgust.I assure you my social security check does not go up 23% every 3 months. Shame on you, Food Lyin'. Starving seniors for higher profit margins. Record profit margins for both grocery manufacturers and retailers since the covid 19 pandemic started. (research it at Time Magazine)The stores blame it on wholesale inflation. Inflation my a** . . . This is mostly just corporate greed. A global transfer of wealth from American working and retired people to foreign stockholders. Did you know all the profits from Food Lyin' are shipped out of the country to Ahold Delhaze Corporation, in the Netherlands? Check it out on google. I am completely done with this store.I'm doing all my grocery shopping now at Costco and Trader Joe's. I drive all the way to Mooresville and Charlotte every 2 -3 weeks. They have lots of organic options to keep you healthy. I just throw it in the freezer if necessary. I'm a certified nutrition coach. Check them out . . . you'll be so glad. They have kept price increases to a minimum, And some prices are actually less than they were five years ago! I'm actually saving 50% on all my groceries. (about $300/month/person!)

I have frequently shopped this store and had no issue but with recent medical procedure they suggested they offered delivery service. I posted my first order and when it was delivered later that day but it was missing $20 worth of meat products. I called food lion immediately and the quickly said “we have nothing to do with the delivery service - you will have to call instacart.” Told me to have a nice day and hung up. If you tout a service in your store you should provide customers with a safety net. Here I am hours later still without a credit on my account for the missing products.The store is fine for in-person and pickup but they wash there hand of you if you use the delivery Delivery service they advertise and tout

I like this place because it's not as crowded as Walmart. And a lot of times their fruit is fresher. So fresh or food and you do not have to battle as bigger crowd is a plus in my book.

Most of the oeople are nice and helpful. The store is clean. They do not carry things now thaf they used to like Promise Land chocolate milk, stouffers turkey tetrazzini or my crock pot seasoning packets for BBQ! Ihave gone to this store for these items specifically!!

Amalfi's Pizza is simply amazing! Great food, friendly staff. Business is always clean, no dishes used by patrons are left sitting, constantly cleaning and making sure you have what you need. Definitely recommend!
