We finally tried Tex's and it was not good. Wife ordered whole catfish and it was so over cooked that it was impossible to eat. I ordered shrimp and oysters which was okay but nothing special. Slaw and Pepsi was alright. And this cost two people $35. Do believe that, $35! Bidenomics at work everywhere! Pray for America! We left and grabbed something to eat at another restaurant.

This was our first time at Tex’s Seafood. The young man Cody who was our waiter ensured we had everything we needed. He was the kindest most mannerly young man we have met in a very long time. Tex's Fish Camp is our go to restaurant when we want some good 'ole country cooking and hospitality. My son loves the Tex's Big Burger! My husband's usual is the seafood platter. And I love their chef salad and grilled chicken salad! When we are there, either to dine in or to pick up a to go order, the employees are the friendliest around. They make you feel like family. I am sure that is why they are still successful in today's fast paced world. It only takes one visit to become a fan!

We went there last night for dinner and we had 15 people. We came through form Illinois and met our family there. The staff was amazing to accommodate us all and our waitress did an amazing job. The food was great as well. We definitely recommend this place.Thank you!

The entrance to the restaurant is all lit up which is a good thing. There's great lighting inside the restaurant too and the restaurant was really clean. The ceiling had like one spot that is normal but, other than that the ceiling is clean and the walls are clean too with no dirt. The booths are definitely homemade and cute. I really like them and they're made out of all wood. This is a casual dress place and a relaxed environment. The staff is nice to talk to and make you feel like you want to come back to eat there again. They do have tables too. I had talapeia with fries and coleslaw which is really good. So, Yes I will come back again.
