Alan was a fantastic groomer at the Concord, NC location! They went above and beyond my expectations. They offered friendly advice and most importantly, they were kind to my dog! I highly recommend. My family and I will definitely be back soon for all of our pet’s needs! Here’s a before and after picture of the wonderful grooming job Alan completed today with our sweet senior dog! She was so happy after this much needed service!!

Pet Supplies Plus is my family. I never had any problems here. The staff is so kind and keeps everything clean and organized. I definitely recommend this place. The barbers are extremely helpful. I recommend Columbia also because she's super nice and on top of things. If your pet needs a haircut, toys, food or anything else, you need to only come here. The price is very reasonable and the communication is perfect!!!

Prices are lower than the other pet stores on the items I buy, and they also have a better selection of healthy/no chemicals added products.The staff has always been friendly and i’ve never had any issues finding an employee to assist me.

To begin, the staff was inattentive at no point did anyone ask did we need help. Furthermore, when we did locate the staff they seem to be having their own little staff meeting about what they wanted to do this weekend or what have you. Also, upon finding a member of the staff and getting their attention she seemed to be very knowledgeable so we asked her a couple of questions and made purchase decisions on those answers because she said she had expertise on Betta and what they need. Subsequently, because she said that a Betta fish would require less maintenance than a goldfish which was our initial purchase decision we decided to get a Betta instead. Also, because she also said if we buy the Marina Betta aquarium EZ care we wouldn't need a filter because it cleans itself and that Bettas don't need a heater it just an optional thing to buy like you would plants even though the box says otherwise the following was purchased by my daughter's dad:Marina Betta aquarium EZ careBetta flakesFish decorBetta fishWell as days went on it seemed like the fish didn't swim around much or want much to eat and his aquarium seemed really dirty. Upon visiting a pet store located by Walmart in Kannapolis, NC those well trained and or experienced staffed schooled us in a big way:1. Betta need to be fed no more than 3 times a week ( NOT 2×'S DAILY as instructed)2. To be healthy and happy they do need a heater3. A cleaning system of some sort is needed, subsequently the notion that a filter or pump for cleaning is not need is simply false4. Betta can survive in a 1.5 tank but prefer bigger tanks as they are an explorative fishAll in all, the information given by this store personnel was false. It cost us we could have gotten just a goldfish or gotten a tank better equipped for the Betta . Also the bad information given by the pet supplies plus could have killed my daughter's new pet fish and that is unacceptable.All in all, if the staff at the store had no expertise or was not familiar with Betta and what it needed all she had to do was say I don't know . Now my daughter's dad is stuck with problem the staffer was supposed to help him avoid paying to maintain a fish because it's getting costly because of the bad information given by the store alone he has spent another 50 dollars just to work on getting the tank clean and to keep the fish alive not considering cost of Betta pellets+ plants+healthy play items(mirrors) to name a few.*****PART 2:** IT TOOK 2 WEEKS FOR MANAGER TO RESPOND TO ME AND HE WAS A KIND AND KNOWLEDGEABLE INDIVIDUAL ALSO THE REMEDY HE OFFERED HAS YET TO BE FOLLOWED THROUGH WITHMAIN ISSUE:THIS LOCATION IS REALLY SOMETHING ELSE...MY DAUGHTERS DAD BROUGHT THE WATER IN TO BE TESTED AND ASKED QUESTIONS TO MAKE CERTAIN THAT OUR FISH WOULD BE OK BECAUSE HES CHANGING COLOR AND HE IS BEHAVING DIFFERENTLY.RESPONSE: DEPRESSIONOUTCOME: FISH APPARENTLY HAS ICH (SEE BELOW) AND HE DIED AND I HAD TO RESEARCH THIS MYSELF ... UNACCEPTABLE WHY ARE THEY EVEN THERE TO HELP IF THE HELP THEY OFFER IS INSUFFICIENT AND INCORRECT!!!!!

Two stars for the store always being clean and most the employees are very nice. But this is the third time I've come for frozen rats in the last few months and they're not in stock and they don't know when they will be. Which means I either have to buy 5-6 mice, and that costs more or go somewhere else.Also the employee rang up my dog biscuits wrong and overcharged me. It was only $3-4 over but it definitely added to the fact I'll be going to other pet stores in the future.

Pet Supplies Plus in Concord is okay. The team is welcoming and helpful. There's a sense of being understaffed. Product is sometimes in stock, but inaccessible without assistance. Due to the showroom nature of a pet store, the animals, especially birds, for sale lack the space needed to thrive and are stressed out from boredom. And due to the retail nature of a pet store, many of them will end up with people unprepared for the responsibility of homing and entertaining exotic pets.

Always enjoy the service and pets and on Friday April 19th the ladies here at this store actually waited on me extra 10 mins just so I could make it there to purchase some frozen mice for my girl these girls deserve a raise and gratitude you all were extremely nice and thanks so much for holding the door for me 10 mins after hours greatly appreciated . My girl got bathed and cleaned good and ate nows she's happy girl

I stopped in with my newly acquired puppy "Cash" early morning and we were greeted immediately. The young lady helped me and checked on me the entire time I was there. I purchased a harness, leather collar and name tag. She actually put my information in the kiosk because I had my hands full with ™Cash". The energy was so awesome and I will absolutely be back soon. Excellent customer service and we highly recommend them.

My dog received the worst hair cut that I’ve ever seen. I asked that he not be cut short and that his tail hair be cut shorter. I received the complete opposite. He was cut almost bald. His cut was also very spotty and uneven. My dog was cut low and then I was called to tell what happened. I should have been contacted before he was cut low. My dog was slightly matted but not enough to be bald. The groomer stated “don’t hate me” and “his hair will grow back” when I walked in which let me know the hair cut would not be to my standards. Not only was the haircut bad but it took 5 hours to complete. Completely dissatisfied with this service and DO NOT recommend bringing your dog here to be groomed.

This store has friendly employees and good sales. Every time we go in and have a bit bag of stuff to carry out, they offer to have someone take it for me. I prefer this store over Pet Smart any day. I am impressed with their level of care for all of their customers, especially those that are harder to deal with than others.

I had such a great experience here thanks to Hannah! I’d just got off of work and it was almost an hour to closing. There was a younger, blonde manager that didn’t greet me but continuously (at least a dozen times) mentioned to her peers that they were closing. I almost left as I didn’t feel welcomed but as I was going down an aisle Hannah was so sweet and asked me how I was, offered help and was so nice to my pup! She asked to pet her, offered treats and provided recommendations for toys and services. It was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at a store and I appreciate her genuine kindness. My pup and I will definitely be back on weekends to see her :)

As I entered the store I was immediately being watched so I tried looking for dog food and changing aisle I was followed by the worker I felt uncomfortable and harassed and felt like I was being racially profiled. So as I left the store the first call to the store asking for the Manger the guy answered the phone and didn’t give the phone to the manager. The second time calling back the phone was handed to the manager named Britney as I asked for corporate number I was rudely guided to corporate information on google. I feel like this type of Behavior shouldn’t be excepted nor should no one walk in a store feeling uncomfortable and harrassed!

The associates are always very nice and helpful. It has a decent selection and decent pricing. I come here for rabbit treats and supplies because they always have good sales, and I don't want to have to go all the way to Petsmart. They do delivery, grooming, and occassional clinic services.

Workers are so intelligent with their products and animals. Some fella I forget his name but he had a nice ginger mullet was fantastic with dog food and great at catching me them fish, should be a fishermen one day!

Went there to get the newest member of our family groomed up. Abigail and the rest of the staff were incredibly patient with both me and my dog. They did a phenomenal job, washing, brushing, and freshening him up. He looked like a brand new dog when he got done. Will certainly be going back.

I've had great experiences shopping here. Great staff, and Laura is excellent and always goes above and beyond. You really feel she and the other staff members make an effort to really know their customers, their pets, and their needs. I always get a call if something isn't in stock, and once even got a call because I'd made a mistake on ordering kitten food and they wanted to make sure we had a new baby as this was not something I'd ordered for many months.
