Coddle creek is absolutely fantastic and has always taken wonderful care of me and my puppy! They are attentive, responsive and reasonably priced! My pup is a bit crazy when he goes to the vet, but the staff handles him with such compassion and understanding. Absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone from the front desk, to surgery, nail trimming, & of course the Dr.'s,( we're partial to Dr Little but they're all great!),are so friendly, compassionate & caring. We've been bringing our fur babies here for 20 years. Even though we recently moved to Salisbury, we will continue to bring our babies to Coddle Creek! Love you guys!

Dr Tanner is one of best vet doctors I have seen from going to many other places. He gave Mia a thorough exam, treated her and provided her with the correct diet. She has been healthy and clear of all her symptoms. Something other doctors in the area could not treat or find causes of her allergies. His staff is wonderful, kind and caring to Mia. I have found the perfect animal hospital who cares about your pet (family)!! This is the best veterinarian hospital I have experienced!Thank you and your staff for your service!

Love the team! Through the years the doctors have been amazing in many ways. Melanie has always been the supportive structure that makes me feel like family at every visit. Great place to take your furry babies ! Staff is outstanding and compassionate. Dr. Tanner is great and handles your furry family member as if they were his own pets. ***UPDATE***Changing my review from 5 stars to 2. Something has majorly changed here and it’s really sad. When we first started coming here we thought this place was a gem. Friendly and helpful front office staff along with compassionate and loving vet techs. They use to have several vets here as well but now there’s only a couple and one is only a relief vet so he isn’t there all the time. When you call the office you never know if you’re going to get someone nice and inviting or someone that acts like you’re bothering them. Our most recent experience was HORRIBLE! Our sweet kitty broke her leg and when we took her in the vet tech went on to say that there’s no way they could do her surgery anytime soon because they were booked out for months with surgery. She then went on to tell my husband and myself that if it was her pet or another person who works there’s pet then the vets would likely squeeze them in and they could get it done faster but since we’re just clients they won’t do that. WHAT?!?! So you just told us that the vets are only compassionate towards their pets and not all pets. The website states they do orthopedic surgeries however when you’re there they proceed to say, we used to do them but since the other vets are no longer here, we no longer do them. The vets have been gone for several months according to our vet tech. We asked if they could stabilize her leg so it isn’t just flopping around until we could get her to another vet. They said it wouldn’t help. The vet himself was friendly and compassionate which we greatly appreciated and the reason I’m giving 2 stars versus 1! I’m just completely blown away at the lack of compassion they have. Night and day difference from when we first started coming here.

Everyone at Coddle Creek Animal Hospital are very caring, competent, compassionate, personable and professional. I just can't express the gratitude I have for them, Our first visit was to have our beloved kitten put to sleep, and they were all so caring and accommodating. They had a warmly decorated room for the procedure, with a comfortable upholstered settee, pet treats and human treats, a big box tissues readily available and two big, soft cozy blankets to lay our precious kitten on. We got a beautifully finished thick, round plaster, neat, clear paw print from our kitten, with a light blue ribbon tied in a bow, that we picked up later that week. Just a few days ago we took our other kitten to Coddle Creek for a URI and that visit went smooth, also. I feel they don't try to nickel and dime you or try to add on services or overcharge you. Very reasonable pricing. There are many vets in the area that are a lot closer, but none that I have been satisfied or happy with. Coddle Creek Animal Hospital lives up to their remarkably high reviews on line, Hence, they have another very satisfied customer for life!

I came to Coddle Creek Animal Hospital back in 2004 and Met Dr Tanner when I came in off the street with a rescue puppy that was extremely sick with parvo! Dr. Tanner spent the night with him and Koda made a full recovery! Dr. Tanner is so patient and never rushes our visit. I actually drive 40 minutes to see Dr Tanner with our dogs because he is the absolute best vet we have ever had!

Do not go to this vet.My dog has been coming here for a while now. On Saturday 1/6/24 my dog had to be rushed to the vet. We call ahead of time to let them know this was an emergency and we believed she had a stroke and was struggling to breathe. They put us in a room and a male RVT came in to get history and he had absolutely no compassion. No care. Showed no sympathy. We sat in the exam room for 20 minutes with no answers on what was taking so long. The front desk was extremely rude and told us the dr was with another emergency. I guess my dog who was struggling to breathe wasn't urgent enough so they let us sit there for 20 minutes. We left and went to another vet.If you want your fur baby cared for correctly DO NOT go to this vet. They do not deserve to see any type of animal let alone care for any type of animal.Every single one of the employees are cold hearted, rude, and overall do not belong in the vet field.Save yourself a heartbreak and take your animals somewhere else.

I’ve been a client of Coodle Creek Animal Hospital before the building they are currently in was built. Every doctor we’ve ever seen there has been GREAT! We love Dr Little who has been so kind and compassionate with me when that horrible time has come when I had to put my dogs down secondary to their age and / or conditions and Dr Packen, who most frequently sees my current dog, she always gets down on the floor on her knees to greet my dog, hugs her neck, then starts her exam. My dogs tail doesn’t stop wagging and you can see her excitement! The doctors are great to explain what's going on with my pets and then their recommendations; they're wonderful answering when answering all my question. I totally recommend Coddle Creek Animal Hospital, all the staff and doctors! They are all wonderful!
