I took my dog a few months ago and had been taking her here for a while when I picked her up she kept scratching and I later found out she had a skin infection from the vet they explained they didn’t know if it came from her being dried with a towel that may have been used by another dog, unsanitary cages or clippers but what I do know is a $80 hair cut turned into a $300 vet bill after reading the responses from previous bad reviews it just seems as if the owner gets offensive instead of resolving the issues but I’m in the process of finding another groomer and it’s frustrating but I still wanted to share my experience. It’s usually pretty decent when I come in but this day I dropped my dog off they had small kids in the lobby with no clothes on sliding across the floor in a pet grooming place which also made me look at this place different as far as sanitation, safety and hygiene!

My Rivi always comes out looking perfect!! The wonderful team here are so kind with him. He even gets excited when we are about to turn into their parking lot which is a HUGE plus which leaves me assured they take the best care of him while he’s there.

Before (her hair was longer than this) and after. I’m in California on assignment. My husband took our fur baby to Clippin tails to be groomed today. When he picked her up he expressed his dissatisfaction. Clearly, she looks terrible. I called and spoke with the groomer. She told me, “this is what your husband asked for and I did what he asked me to do.” I told her we have to agree to disagree because my husband stated he did not ask for this. She stated again she did what my husband asked her to do. I expressed my dissatisfaction and she suggested no resolution. She said she could not refund our money. She didn’t offer maybe a 50% discount because clearly this is terrible. Throughout the pandemic I have paid for service that was less than up to par. But it’s a pandemic most people are doing the best they can with staff shortages nationally. I am over the poor customer service! No the customer is not always right, but clearly this cut is horrible. Some resolution would have been better than nothing. I’m not out here trying to get free service, but look at this! Come on!!!!

I just love Clipping Tails. All of the staff are very courteous and professional. My groomer named Vanessa did an awesome job on my pup. I've never been happier and so is my pup. I'll definitely return for her services everytime I need my dog taken care of. Keep up the great work.

These ladies do a great job with my dog Remington! He always comes out wagging his tail and smelling amazing! Gina and Briana are two of the nicest women to take care of him. They even gave him a Christmas stocking today after his groom! They really make their clients feel special.

We simply LOVE Clippin Tails and staff!! Our Fur baby, Maltese Liberty, had bad experiences with groomers namely PETCO, who suggested that we take Liberty to a vet where she could be sedated then groomed! NO WAY!!!Gina took time and patience with her. Soothing her until she was comfortable. Beautiful cut!!!A very satisfied customer since the doors opened in 2021.Happy holidays. Thanks for the Xmas stocking.

They did amazing with my new dog! My dog is skittish and recently adopted from the pound, I was scared about how she would be treated or react to grooming but the handlers did a great job keeping her comfortable and getting her clean. She smells great too. And her claws are painted I love it. Very nice groomers.

If I could leave a 0 rating I absolutely would. I started taking my poodle mix 8 months ago. Every time I ask her to cut the hair in my dogs ears, SHE NEVER DOES! Of course, he has an ear infection! Worse than that, they CUT AND BURNT MY DOG WITH CLIPPERS!! I called to tell the owner just to let her know. The first thing I said was I don’t want a refund or anything. When I took him there, I pointed out 3 small matted areas and asked for a short cut. She acted like he was some stray that I just found in skid row with dirty dreadlocks and his hair was so matted she had to make him bald. When I told her i beg to differ, she became defensive and said I was “just MAD (code word for all black women that speak up. I was waiting for AGGRESSIVE) because I couldn’t prove she did it” and that I cut my own dog. Wait… what? I was kind and spoke softly so why am I suddenly ‘mad’? She said he never barked or acted like he was in pain and he should be bleeding and I should have seen it. Ummm…Obviously he was scratching his skin off because it was itching because it was infected. He’s a black poodle mix so NO I did not see the cut until it became a huge crusty mess! The VET said it was a cut and burn from CLIPPERS and it was infected. She knew because she said she sees it all the time. Of course, the owner denied it ever happened because they have “never cut anyone else’s dog so I must have done it. Ok Becky/KAREN now I’m mad!!! 😡😡. I NEVER requested a refund or anything from this lady! In 8 months you charge me for cutting the hair inside of his ears. I even tip your nasty behind every time I come! NOW I’m mad! 😡 You are indeed every vile name I called you! You’re especially disgusting for accusing me of cutting my own dog. Again, I NEVER requested a refund. Just said please be careful next time. YOU asked for the vet bill and pictures. I SAID I don’t want anything! But, since you are so disrespectful and disgusting for accusing me of cutting my own dogs neck, let’s do this the legal way. Smh. Won’t be back in your RAGGEDY establishment ever again. Look at Cha-Cha’s neck! 😡😡😡😡😡

I have taken my pet for a full grooming appointment 3 times now and the lasted time the staff did not do anything I asked for. I asked for a half cut because of the colder weather and I also requested that her eye lashes were not trimmed. When I got my pet back she was shaved down to the skin and her eye lashes had been cut off. She gives no trouble to grooming around her paws yet her paws were no cut well at all. My first experience with Clippin tails was great. They did everything that I requested and were super friendly about it. My next two experiences were not the greatest.

Gina is the bomb. All three of my babies love her. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job even when our Labradoodle was a baby and wanted to suck your thumb while she was being brushed. We highly recommend her for your grooming needs.

First and last appointment. Took our peekapom in for full grooming this week. Showed a picture of exactly how I wanted her groomed and said it was a teddy bear cut. Woman said no problem.Picked her up 3 hours later and she had been shaved closely all over. No styling at all. Just a buzz cut.Waste of $70.

This was my first and last time going outside of my normal groomer to get my dog groomed. I was highly disappointed with her cut. They trimmed her body great! As far as her face and feet…atrocious! I told them to trim her feet expecting it to match her body but they cut all the way down to the skin. I also told them to trim her face a little because it was a lot of hair…they cut that down to the skin as well calling it a “clean” trim. I feel so bad for my dog. I’m pretty sure they are good at what they do there at Clippin’ Tails, but as far as my first experience with them, Terrible!

Erin was SO good with my street rescue 2yo doggie. We came in for a walk-in nail trim, my pup was nervous and Erin soothed my pup (Erin got pup kisses ), she’s professional AND easy going, has a swift, gentle nail trim technique. I’ll be back for every nail trim and will consider Erin’s other services too, her prices were on point. She also offered my doggie some healthy treats after her nail trim (pup gobbled up!). This was hands down the best grooming experience we have had for our dog Bully. Gina listens intently on how we wanted him cut - very specific instructions and many of them and she followed them all to the T! Bully is very nervous when he goes inside a groomers or a pet store and usually is anxious going in and very upset when we pick him up. With Gina Bully was having fun the whole time (probably because of the treats!) and came out happy and calm wagging his tail! We will never go anywhere else, she gives dogs their time and doesn’t rush them in and out. 10/10!!!

She is is best ! My dog odie struggled at the groomers With being over stimulated. We switched to her from pets mart and it’s made the world of difference. He lets her pick him up all 25 pounds of bread roll he is, and let’s her do things to him I could t dream of. Our first grooming appt she didn’t have grain free treats, and she orders some just so he could get treats mid grooming. Today he even wagged his tail so excited to see her ! Highly suggest for everyone to go to Gina.

Great experience. After trying a few groomers in the area this one was the best: responsive when setting up an appointment, loved the cut she gave my golden retriever, really stopped shedding much longer than I expected, my nervous dog was calm and happy when I picked her up.
