I was visiting Charlotte from Germany and went to Bass Pro. It is a paradise for hunters and anglers. I went upstairs to the archery department. While looking for a copound bow, I came across the employee Lary. He was very friendly and was able to give me very competent advice as a beginner based on his own experience in bow hunting. A really personable and friendly employee. I decided on a PSE bow and he set it up for my needs and also prepared the right arrows for me. Many thanks from Germany. The first point of contact for bows in Charlotte!

I'm not personally that interested in hunting or fishing. I'm more interested in rock climbing/mountain biking/etc., so for me probably REI would be of more interest.That being said, Bass Pro is kind of like a mix between a store and a theme park. When I went back to NC to visit family I stayed in the Charlotte area while we were all still jet lagged and it was a great distraction for my 6-year old son. He loved looking at the boats, golf carts, and of course toys LOL.The sitting area in the front with the fireplace is great and often overlooked. We went around Christmas so were able to see the Christmas tree.

Bass Pro Shops in the Concord Mills Mall is the most impressive Sporting Goods store I’ve even been in! Gigantic!!! Has you name it for outdoor Sports from Boating, Shooting, Archery, and others. Staff was very friendly and helpful.They have EVERYTHING here including the stock. No empty shelves.And their Boating section is wild.

We enjoy browsing the store, and its very tastefully outdoor themed. There's a good selection hunting/fishing/camping goods, definitely full retail price for most of it. Floor staff are friendly, and the store is dog friendly. The only issue with our visit was at checkout. The female at the register didn't even offer to bag the purchases, she basically just eventually handed a bag for him to do it himself!

Purchased a brand new Tahoe Boat top of the line 2023 model for 75k. Lasted less than 3 months and the navigation lights and anchor lights didn't work. Trim stopped working ( couldn't raise or lower engine), stereo overheated, subwoofer rattled, middle storage broke, rear storage broken, fuel gauge stopped working, lower unit on engine leaking and much more!!! Took to shop in February and still have not received boat back. Now the 1 year warranty has expired and I have no clue if things are truly even fixed. Every time I call service department their technicians are out and are always waiting on parts. Been an absolute horror story and now I'm probably out a lot of $$$$$$.

I love this place. I had an issue with the hours of operation. Everyone agreed that Google was not updated. I drove an hour to be there by 8 pm. It was listed as closing at 9:00pm. I returned the next day and asked to speak to a manager. An assistant manager assisted me. He was young, short, slim with short dark hair, no piercings and glasses. Very rude when I explained my situation about how the day before I drove over an hour to find the doors locked. Asked for some type of discount and he said NO! I'm still going to shop here. I will never deal with this fool again. Lack of customer retention and service. This next generation of kids managing does not look good for the future. For the record he spoke softly and kind and never spoke to someone higher than him. I do not mean his height.

This review is for David, upstairs in the archery shop. He is very knowledgeable and eager to assist customers. I took my son back to get his bow fitted. David took his time with him to make sure everything was spot on! David also let my son practice with a release to make sure he was comfortable with it before we left. If you’re a minority, don’t buy a gun here. you don’t get treated right they don’t want to answer questions. they don’t want to help you out go to Academy sports right down the road. They will help you out. They’ll treat you like a paying customer..

Stood at the gun counter for 45 for the 3 staff member to help other that arrived after me. All I needed was some ammo they had behind the counter. Absolutely unprofessional. Make the ammo on the regular shelves where you have all the rest of your ammo

Jim in the fly shop is SO knowledgeable and helpful! He helped my nephew get started with his first few flies, showed us photos of fish he’d caught, told us where to fish locally, and recommended some videos and resources to learn more about fly fishing. He chatted with us for a good 15-20 minutes and answered countless questions. 10/10 recommend stopping by the fly shop and getting help from Jim!!

Not my experience, but my husband was there two weeks ago to buy a gun! He stood there for 40 minutes and nobody helped him. When he first got there three of the sales people were helping others but when they got done not one person offered to help him. So he left and bought a 1500 gun from Nichols 200 cheaper than Bass Pro! This is not the first time he has experienced this type of service.

This bass pro is only ok. Normally half stocked but half the time their ap says they have and you get there and they haven’t had it for weeks. Also I have gone here several times to try to buy a new rifle and every time the counter is over flowing with people who don’t actually want to buy anything. This being the case the people working stay busy just showing stuff to non-buyers over someone who is actually ready to. I get that they can’t tell that but just from myself they have lost a decent in sales in 2024 alone from this.

Bass Pro Shop is awesome let’s just say that, but this time no so much. I waited patiently ready to purchase a firearm for over 45 mins with nothing as much as a “welcome” or “be with you in a moment”. After watching everyone getting helped standing there I couldn’t help but to feel as if maybe no one took me serious because I’m younger and would rather help the well dressed. I fully understand being busy, a simple acknowledgment that I was there would have been nice.This will make me reconsider shopping here further. Main reason for 2 stars and not 1 star is when I walked in I got greeted and asked if I could be helped. I explained I was interested in purchasing a firearm and they pointed me in the direction of gun sales.

Not as busy as we feared with it being a couple of days before Christmas. We were able to pick up a few items. My only complaint is there were not enough cashiers available. We were in line for about 15 minutes to check out with only one cashier at the exit to the mall. I do want to give him credit because as backed up as the line was he was still smiling and friendly.

I love coming here. The employees are very knowledgeable. They really take time to listen and educate you about your purchase. That's a plus when you're purchasing a weapon and unsure about what you want. They suggested I visit the range and ask if they have a particular weapon to test, prior to purchasing. They even provided me with names of a few in the area. That was nice of them.This last visit, the only thing I found particularly annoying was the people trying to sell me a vacation package. I told her I wasnt interested several times, that I WAS NOT going to make a purchase AND that I had zero desire to attend a tour. That still wasn't enough. I finally had to say, you're wasting my valuable time and this is not the purpose of my visit. Have a good day and walked away, whew!!

Awsome place with everything you could ever need for hunting and fishing, and of course outdoor gear in general. They have a huge selection of freshwater and saltwater gear, and this includes a section devoted to fly fishing. There's a huge aquarium in the center filled with fish for children and adults to enjoy. They also sell boats and I believe atvs. Whether your a beginner or a expert, bass pro is the place.

Brought my dad to get a fishing pole, nothing too extravagant. He asked an employee named Matt for help regarding what type of rigs and he tried to upsell him with a rod for double the cost when he only wanted a simple freshwater rod and tried to get him with the “membership card” fast talking all the benefits etc and I asked, you mean it’s a credit card right? He sheepishly said yes a credit card. Praying on old people to sign up for a credit card and calling it a membership card is despicable. After the back and forth with the credit card seemed that’s the only reason he wanted to help. Great customer service training you got!! We used up the gift card I got him and won’t be coming back.

Horrible company doesn’t matter which location you go to it’s always the same. Understaffed, doesn’t matter what department you try to call nobody ever picks up especially the gun counter. An easy return turns into a huge ordeal with a receipt because they have no clue what they’re doing. Computers at the gun counter, never want to work, couldn’t even get a simple receipt printed for my shotgun today they want me to walk out of there, not having any proof of purchase for my records. i’ll try and call for hours and the phones just ring off the hook and nobody picks up. A simple transfer to another local Cabela’s turn into a two week, huge ordeal with hours on end with zero communication with their employees, If I could leave less than one star, I would because the list just goes on with all the other issues. Plus, their company is overpriced to begin with

Wasn't expecting the aquarium to be under construction. The store had a lot of great deals going on for the holiday. Better put some friends I hadn't seen in a while, was a good meeting place.
