First time here. We were visiting in the area and what a find! Off the beaten track and a hidden gem. Staff and server Shelby fantastically friendly, menu knowledgeable and attentive. The reviews we read about their prime rib 100% accurate. Their appetizers and specials really round out the nice menu to include wide array of surf, turf and pasta dishes. Nice waterway view in a casual setting but top notch service and food. Not sure when we will be back in the area but it will be visited for sure if we are.

We love this place! We stopped at Coinjock because our boat had steering issues but the people and this restaurant made it a wonderful visit so we stayed an extra night. The food is really good and what they say about the prime rib is true - it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The wings, stuffed mushrooms, scalloped potatoes and seafood were all amazing too. And then there was dessert - the dessert menu changes but after trying rhe red velvet cherry cake, I’m pretty confident that anything on the dessert menu is scrumptious. The atmosphere is awesome - fun, relaxed and very friendly. We will definitely be sailing back to Coinjock for the restaurant, marina and people!

Great food. Lots of locals and boaters. Full house at 6pm. Prime Rib is one of their noted selections. If you get there early there, maybe some will be available. Those who are in the know call early and "reserve" their Prime Rib. Serving horseradish in a plastic container and a roll on the side is a little tacky with the presentation. The special grouper fish was also excellent.Outside seating is available... cold weather is a real possibility next to the water.Guitar player entertained outside.Bar seating is also available. A rugged atmosphere characteristic to the marina surrounding. I would not call it romantic but has good food and has quite a following.

We sat inside as it was starting to rain. We ate at a table by the bar. The place was buzzing. The menu had a lot to offer from seafood to vegetarian food. We had the appetizer calamari and oysters baked. The calamari was very tender and delicious. The oysters were broiled with a sauce and cheese on them. They tasted awesome. Looking out you see big beautiful yachts on the Intercoastal waterway. My husband had zero alcohol beer and I had a long island ice tea. We ordered dessert to go. It was a caramel sea salt cheesecake. Very yummy. We eat here whenever we're in Coinjock at the KOA Campground. We have also had the soft shell crab. Can't beat it. Highly recommend eating or having a cocktail here. Enjoy. ❤️❤️

A drive back over the bridge. On the instracoastal Waterway. Fair chance to see some large boats tied up for a respite and a bite to eat.A great laid-back coastal food. Service is attentive and good. I'm not sure I'd call the food great. But for the price, I'd expect a notch up. Well worth the drive and stop though.

Daily Specials, Outdoor seating, Great service and even better food. Daily Specials. We went on Easter Sunday and they had an Easter dinner special that was out of this world and only 13.99 with enough left over for another meal! The fried green tomatoes were out of this world!Vegetarian options: Pasta and Salad OptionsKid-friendliness: Kids menu includes everything from pasta to steak.

The Markert Family came together twice in the past couple weeks and we all decided to eat at our local favorite- The Coinjock Marina. For many, many, many, MANY years it has been our "meet to catch up" with family and friends go to place. Always a good time and always good food!Parking: There is an overflow parking lot that's been added in recent years. Basically- if you can't find a place to park- you won't be eating there until you can. They are popular and do get busy so if you really want to dine there- make reservations ahead of time.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available- same great food @ lower price

The Marina service was friendly and accommodating. The Marina office was full with items and had some beer on tap (very fun). You have to pay for power but water was included. If boating with a buddy they allow to side tie to them. It was also a long line of dock so lots of boats could come in. On the opposing side, near the north entrance, they also have more docks and a basin for smaller boats ( which is where we stayed). We stayed for two nights and had the famous prime rib that needs a reservation to order. We all thought it was solid meal.

First timers for my birthday dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the redneck eggrolls for our appetizer. I had the seafood platter as I wanted to sample as many items as I could, and my husband has the shrimp plate. Everything we had was perfectly prepared. Service was efficient and excellent. So glad we finally took the opportunity to sample this local treasure!

Lunch stop on the way to OBX weekday September.Canal front dining both inside and outside. Very clean inside and service was great.Crab bisque was very good as was the crab cake & fried oysters. Sides were all very good too. We had dinner menu items for our lunch and the cost was reasonable. Our go-to spot on the way down.*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

What a cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal. It was a joy to watch sailboats, trawlers and yachts float by outside our window. Our 6 ounce medium rare fillet mignons were cooked to perfection. I wish we had the recipe for the green beans which were too delicious. Our friend's had some tasty crab and lobster bisques. We were happily surprised when we bit into the most scrumptious chocolate, coconut, cheesecake concoction we have ever eaten. We shall be back one day. Thanks so much Coinjock Marina Restaurant. PS It is Sunday so you only offer the dinner menu which was fine with all of us.

We had a great visit to the Coinjock Marina Restaurant. The food was great! I love the Orange Crush mixed drink. SO good! My friend had an awesome birthday dinner and our waitress was pretty great. I believe her name was Holly.

Friendly and clean. Indoor/outdoor dining. I had the broil seafood platter. Nice size pollock, scallops and shrimps cooked just right, very lightly breaded crab cake, yummy hush puppies...will be back for the prime rib.

Our waitress stuck her thumb in the salad while carrying the plate to the table and made very odd comments. The waitress for the table behind us was very loud and you could tell very impatient with the older woman at the table. The food was average. It was weird to be served seafood without any lemon. When I asked for lemons it took almost halfway through my meal to get them because the waitress was chatting. The steak was actually cooked correctly and well seasoned.

It was a relaxing waterfront restaurant. Everything we tasted was wonderful. We had the redneck egg rolls made with bar-b-cue and collards. We rarely eat fried foods, but this had been recommended, and we ordered it. We were not disappointed. Very friendly wait staff who served our meals quickly. It is located on the intercoastal waterway. We were amazed at the number of boats that stopped to pick up food - especially their world-famous prime rib plates.
