Over the Christmas holiday I went to Time Honored Tattoos for a second tattoo by Matt. I waited until I was in town from California to get the tattoo because of how incredible a job he did with my last one. The shop is clean, the people are fantastic, and Matt is a true professional. It is clear he values his work and his clients. When he saw the last tattoo didn't heal the way he wanted, he touched it up and made it even better. I can't recommend Time Honored Tattoo enough. I won't go anywhere else.

100% recommend this business. I am a 50 year old woman that just got her 1st tattoo, a memorial tattoo. Matt was amazing making my vision come to life. He is super personable, made me feel at ease right away. And his work is amazing! He listened to me, and my reason for the tattoo, and really gave his expert opinion on what would work best. I am already planning my next one!

I have followed Matt to 3 shop locations over the years which should show you the level of professionalism and artistic abilities! My whole family comes to Matt and has been for years! He does such good quality work and always gives the best opinion on size, position, and portion to body region you’d like your tattoo. He has designed my entire leg sleeve and I have others from him as well! His shop environment is professional, friendly, and all around great to be get a tattoo (because let’s be honest some spots HURT!) so it’s nice to have a good people and good times while you endure! Prices are comparable for some in the area of his experience and expertise (you get what you pay for!) I’ll keep coming back and you won’t regret coming here too!Service: Tattoos

This is the best location we have ever been to! Mike does awesome work!! Mike and Matt are the best I’ve seen! They take the time to meet with you to understand what you are looking for and help design what you want to your expectations. I had an old tattoo that needed to be covered up, they worked with the photos I had to get it to cover perfectly! The tattoo came out awesome!! Reasonable prices and outstanding service! My wife and I are extremely happy with the work for both of us and are planning our next visit! Thanks Guys!!!

Matt takes ideas and draws up custom masterpieces to bring your vision to life in your tattoo. He takes time to take all your input into account and makes any changes you ask of him as well as giving great advice and options in order to be 100% satisfied with the work. He and his wife are great people who are very flexible and accommodating. While he is booked out for months, I would be hesitant to get work done by someone who wasn't- it means he's quality and people are willing to wait months to get in with him. Just finished my cover-up/bottom portion of my sleeve and can't wait to finish my full sleeve and get all the other pieces done that I have in mind. So many good things to say about this shop. You are welcomed with smiles as soon as you walk in. Brandy is there to answer any questions. Then Matt comes out from the back and they both give you their undivided attention.I'm so glad this shop is in our town. I got tattoo number six yesterday, the first under Matt's roof. Of the six, his was my best experience. He listened to my idea, sketched it out, brainstormed with me until I was happy, then scheduled a convenient time. They kept me up to date with reminders via text and we're ready to roll at scheduled time.Day of he welcomed me into the back, put on a playlist of music I wanted to hear, explained the whole process, talked when I wanted to talk, answered any questions I had, and, again, gave me undivided attention. His application was smooth and as painless as it could be given the location.I'm very happy with everything they did and looking forward to my next Time Honored tattoo.

Having been to countless shops over the years, I’ve gotta give Time Honored 5 starts without hesitation. From simple to complex they can truly do it all. The owner Matt shows an immense level of pride and focus over not only his work but the artists working under him. My husband and I walked in with close to no idea what we wanted, and walked out with ink we absolutely love. Mike took such good care of me, the experience was awesome and he kept me giggling the entire time! Stetson took care of my husband and really helped fulfill his nerd dream of having a Star Wars tattoo. The shop is extremely clean, and well organized, they don’t skip a beat. On top of that, the overall environment of this shop is very welcoming. We are 100% claiming this as our new favorite shop! I highly recommend Time Honored if you’re in the Coats NC area! I have had seceral tattoos and Mathew by far did the most amazing job. He is professional, knowlegable, takes his time and does amazing work. My husband got his done there and my son got his second tattoo there and was way more pleased with his tattoo. His experience for his second tattoo was way better. If its you first or 50th tattoo i would deffinantly recommend time honored tattoo in angier. I will never go anywhere else.
