This parking lot is always too busy. They need to look at cutting down on the number of handicap spaces bc I never see anyone using the spaces that truly needs such parking. If there was a closer grocery store I would go there just for those reasons.

Love our local store here in Coats! One question, the old Coats Elementary School was torn down years ago to build a new IGA on that property I was told. Where is it, and do we get a beautiful new store any time soon, just curious?

I can always find what I need at the IGA. The staff are great, knowlegable, and helpful. If they don't have the item the staff can always tell you when they will. It is also a very clean store. The Deli's food is great. Fried chicke, stew beef, and chicken and pastry.

I was on my way to somewhere and I needed to pick up some Sodas and Waters and this was the only grocery store nearby so I decided stop here. It was also my first time shopping at a Carlie C's IGA. I noticed there was A Deli So I decided to Get Some Chicken Tenders And Potato Wedges. The Chicken Tenders Had a Lot of Chicken And A good amount of Breading. The Potato Wedges were also good but I was only given 3 but it was okay. The Service here was very Amazing As Well. I had a great Experience Shopping at Carlie C's IGA And I will Definitely Return.

Just left the store, I’m not generally a confrontational person so I didn’t say anything, but cashier Virginia kept licking her fingers to get the bags open, and then proceeding to touch everything else. Absolutely disgusting.

Coats IGA - Great staff who genuinely care about the public, displaying a sense of pride in their store and their community. In today's logistical nightmare occurring within the food supply chain, Charlie C's staff comes out "On Top" keeping the shelves stocked in every department. Best Deli around!

Carlie's is our hometown supermarket here in Coats. Their meats & their ground sausage are really good. They have great sales in the meat dept.! Their deli fried chicken & other hot foods are excellent. Their produce department lacks variety however. I like the store but it can be pricey & could use some modernizing inside & out. The employees are very friendly & always greet you. All in all I like it!

I've never had an unpleasant experience here. I was a bit surprised when they didn't want to discount cooked chicken that was sitting under the heat lamp for around 4 hours though. The shift manager said instead of discounting they'll just put it in the fridge and sell it cold the next day. They should tell him he's not selling used cars. No need for the hard close. ;D Pass.

The Meat Department is beyond amazing for my husband and I!Mr.Trevor the meat department manager was a breath of fresh air. He was so accommodating to our needs and wants.Forgive me because I forgot this, the gentleman's name, but he was the reason why my husband and I came back!The Meat Department went above and beyond to take care of our needs!! My husband and I usually shop in Angier or Coats, but we will drive to this location as long as this team is present!!!!

I like going to Carlie C's when I get the chance and also using my GetUpside app when I do to earn cash back. You can earn anything from 3% up to 10% cash back. I recommend using both the app and this store chain for some pretty good deals.

Came in to get a few items the cashier RACHAEL did not give good customer at all. She didnt greet me when i came to the register & i didnt get a thank you after i spent my money. The lady in front of me didnt receive the same energy & you can probably guess why. If you are racist or simply dont like being around people dont take a job customer service its that simple!! Will not be returning

The BEST grocery store in Coats! (The only one but it's still the best) This store has been here since I was a little boy and is just as good now as it was then. The atmosphere is still the same and that's part of the charm. The food from the DELI is OUTSTANDING! Anything from the Bakery is tasty as well! The meat department is one of the few around that actually cuts the meat themselves. They grind their own hamburger and make the BEST sausage (link or patty) Staff is always friendly, kind, and ready to help. This store is a landmark and Coats staple. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.

This is what grocery stores used to be like when I was growing up. They are always extremely helpful. If there is something that you want that they don't carry, they will get it. Meat is cut there in store and the butcher is always very accommodating. Do not be fooled by the fact that they have not done a remodel, this is an awesome hometown, neighborhood grocery store.

I have to believe all the people saying the meat here is excellent either have to be getting paid or have no idea what meat is supposed to taste or look like. I have been nothing but disappointed with the mears here. The steak has no taste, the ground beef is inconsistent and the bacon falls apart. On top of that its more expensive then main stream grocery stores. Don't waist your money on sub par food. Only reason for 2 stars is the people here are so friendly. That doesn't forgive the quality of your food.

2.7 stars ...descent stock, but over priced. Biggest points loss would be customer service. Rude, unhappy (really rude at the deli) people in general. It's closest to home so I have shopped there for almost fifteen years when I need to grab something quick. But I'm not generally impressed with the service.

Great deals but watch out for the produce. They don't seem to rotate it enough and you can easily buy a fruit or vegetable that's either on the verge of going bad or already has. The stockers/managers are super nice, except for one female manger that lied and said harnett county doesn't sell alcohol at all on Sundays (even though it's only until noon) and got a huge attitude when I pointed it out. I went to food Lion and had absolutely no problem. the front Lanes are lacking. Rarely do they speak and when they do they're void of emotion. I get it, I'd rather be at home when I'm at work too but you're getting paid to be there. I don't appreciate being treated like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The other thing that really gets on my nerves is they always put cardboard in with the cold groceries. I've spoken to the managers and they said that they've spoken to them before but it continues to happen at this location. Every. Single. Time. That can damage the box and cause the food to become inedible. This doesn't happen at the other locations. Seriously tell your cashier's to stop cutting corners!

My cashier was just so- soSmall mom and pop type store.Good to grab a few itemsPrices are higher than they should be, even though covid is still aliveCommodity items- milk, sugar, produce, meats, eggs, orange juice so over priced the comoany needs a new buyer, this location needs management to show pride of facility.While I was there, quite a few employees standing around talking- goofing - the shelves could have been faced, stock register impulse buy items- produce was not rotated, found over 5 out of date dairy products

Young lady named irene has a really bad attitude problem, she looked my mom up and down in a very rude manner. Not to mention she was working the service desk so she should know how to use correct customer service! Everyone else seemed very friendly and helpful as i shop here often and used to work there.

This is were i get my bulk of meats.. Most of the time everything is fresh but i have purchased meat that was bad and didn't realize it till I opened the pack.. So make sure you check your dates. Other wise they have great food and price's

Shopping at my local Carlie C's IGA is always convenient and waayyyy better than having to go to Walmart. They always have what it is I'm looking for and the sales are incredibly reasonable. Not to mention the staff is always welcoming upon entering.

Check ✔️ the meats to ensure they are fresh. I bought some pork ribs and when I took them out the package, they was about on their way out by the smell

I mean who doesn’t like a home town country grocery store. Get fresh cut meat… and when you leave you smell like the meat market! Take a change of clothes for the slaughter smell! Love it!
