If I could give a zero review, I would give a zero review for this dollar general location. For one, The manager is very slack , and shuts down the store to go home to take care of a dog , This past week. I'm sorry, but you don't shut down a store to go home and care for an animal with a parking lot full of customers when you are a manager... Obviously, you got a call telling you, that meant someone else could care for it until you're shift was over. The last 2 months had seemed to be a little bit better. But now it's gone right back down hill. Store is always closed early. Or not even open at all like today. Which is crazy to me. I've never saw a Dollar General as pathetic as this one! Get a new store manager & some new staff! Or shut it down. Shelfs aren't stocked like other DGs either. We waste more time driving there than actually getting to go in and shop. This was a great location back 2-3 years ago. Sad shame nothing is being done about this one.

Used to be a great store when Jeff worked there. Now it's the slackest store ever. Never open on time. Always closing early. Merchandise is always boxed up and employees outside smoking & talking. Mind as well shut it down.

Male cashier stared me down threateningly the entire time he was ringing up my items for telling him the avocados were bad. Then proceeded to argue with me and tell me to "chill". I never raised my voice or used a tone, so I'm not sure what merited such an unsettling response. But as a 5 foot tall 100lbs woman, I will never return to this location.

This goes for ALL businesses that falsely advertise their hours of operation, but I take this one more personally. If you are closing your store at 10pm, you better make sure you don't list 11pm as your closing time on Google. Update your info if you want your customers to be satisfied. Unhappy customers will leave quick.

They mind as well shut it down. Dollar General is supposed to be convenient. This location IS NOT. Shut down more than it's open it seems. Waste more time driving down there than I do getting to go inside and get what's needed. I usually just drive to Sandy Mush this last year because the management has SUCKED. Hence the store is always closed, shelves never stoked & employees walk around in a daze it seems. Super frustrated as this is the 4th time in the last 2 months this location is closed.

All their good reviews was 2 years ago or more. Now they suck just like all the rest of the DG's. Hopefully Walmart will take advantage and make them all Express stores.

There quick but sometimes slow only because there's alot of people only thing is on the younger guys that worked there n he has for a while is ALWAYS I mean always rude to people I dont been there twice with 2 different woman telling him that he dont have to be that way but of course nobody says anything to him as in management but they usually full in stock and one the cleaner n organized dollar general I go to

Dollar General in Cliffside is my favorite place to shop. They carry most anything you need. The workers are great. Very Friendly, makes my shopping experience a happy time.

I take my grandchildren to Honeysuckle Park frequently and this is a routine stop on the way to the park that they enjoy so much. They always have to have a water, no sugars at the park! They get a snack and a trip to potty.What a big surprise to us all that they had added fresh produce!! Their snack... cucumbers! They love them! It is what they wanted and what they got! No worries, Mawmaw is always prepared with a peeler, knife, paper towels, and salt!!This store is immaculate compared to others I visit! Always stocked, neat, clean and smiles a plenty! The staff is fantabulous!! Always helpful if needed and will escort you to where you need to be! (If they can do it, why can't other stores?!!!) And it is not a bother to them to help you!! Young lady named Laura is super!!! Kudos to her "customer service!" She is ALWAYS smiling and goes above and beyond! Her service is why I remember her name! Give this lady a raise and a promotion! She deserves it and earns it!!!Thank you Cliffside Dollar General for setting an example for all stores to follow! Hopefully it is a MODEL store within the company!!! If not, it should be!!

This location constantly has issues. Whether it’s having refrigeration units down for weeks on end or being randomly closed for 10m or a whole week.

I DONOT KNOW THAT GAS HAPPEN TOO THIS STORE..IT USE TO BE THE BEST STORE TO SHOP AT..BUT NOW EVER SINCE the store changed employee it has went to hell .STORE EMPLOYEE.. JESSICA.AN HER DAUGHTER.. They have a lot of different items at these little stores.The people that work here are friendly and they will help you find something if you cannot locate it. It's not the most orderly place so if you can't find it, make sure you ask.

The Dollar General store in Cliffside North Carolina is one of the best Dollar General stores I've ever been in it's extremely clean they've got everything you need I've never seen him out of anything which is good they stay busy all the time and their employees are extremely friendly

Store is great as most DG stores are. Prices are fair however, this store seems to be undergoing some slight remodeling so it is a little disorganized for the moment. I assume it will get better.

Floats in the Isles instead of shelves being stocked.Store music disgusting.Not rude,but not friendly employees.Not a place I will shop again.
