Don’t waste your time, I could’ve just ordered on like InstaCart and spent my time better doing other things.

The items on the shelves are marked up from their website. The mark up on one item was 5 dollars more than their everyday advertised price. They inform you that you must have and bring phone to price check each item to get advertised price. You are expected to stand at register and go over each item as though your time does not matter. The person behind you has to wait while this is being done. Their everyday price is the same at Publix across the street and on their shelves for you to see. Petco is supposed to be specifically a pet store. The managers response is "whatever". On one box of cat food it's five dollars higher. If you buy 3 it's 15 dollars. People work hard for their money. They do not work for Petco either. Their advertising is deceptive. They are robbing people of their time and money. Every item is marked higher in the store. If you order online then they shop for you and you pick up at lower prices. So buy a cup of coffee and let them shop for you. I personally would go across the street and deal with a company that lists their prices at the same price as Petco advertised everyday prices without having to stand on line price checking. Be aware of your money.

Highly disappointed. I took my puppy (8 months) in to get grooming. It was her second time here as our first appointment went well. After her first appointment, the manager previously gave me her card and made statements that they would work with her as she got scared. I made the second appointment and got a call stating that she bites. I had to pick her up and the manager would call me on Monday to finish the haircut. I picked up my puppy who did not get a bath and was half shaved. She had multiple cuts on her. I was promised the manager would call me and she would finish my puppy’s haircut. I never got that call. I made an appointment at woof gang and they finished her. They told me she was well behaved and even gave me a discount. Be careful and seek elsewhere. Again extremely disappointed.

It took two visits to get waited on. The first visit i stood in aquatics for 15 minutes with no assistance. I walked to the register and asked for assistance. The cashier used the intercom announcing assistance was needed in aquatics. I waited another 20 minutes and received no assistance. I left and went to a competitor and did some purchases there. they didn't have the swordtails I was looking for, but had everything else. I spent over $100.00 on products at your competitor that you had in stock. On my way home I stopped back by and actually received assistance, I bought the 4 swordtails they had and that small purchased finished my shopping that should have been done in my first stop at Petco.

Katherine is AMAZING. She takes such good care of our labradoodle, Finn - we followed her from Knightdale to Clayton and have already booked out to the end of the year for all grooming appointments. The store is nicely set up, customer service is great. We are very impressed compared to our old store!

Worst customer service of any Petco I've ever had. Roughly 12 customers in line, one individual on register. Tracked down manager, who to her credit went to the register, thou not before giving both an excuse followed by an apology. This same location has a bad habit of not flexing staff to meet the influx of customer demand.

I went in to get my dog groomed. Daniella started telling me how she don’t recommend me cutting my dog that I need to just give him a bath every week for about 3-4 weeks to get him use to it. I told her he get a bath at home so he already use to baths then she told me my dog was matted and she would need to charge me an extra fee. Which I know my dog is not matted because I give him a bath at home and I got the comb and brush from her. Then I was supposed to get 20% off the service and she told me she knew nothing about it. So I asked for the manager. Chris was the manager on duty he acted like he wasn’t interested in what I had to say as he was watch a young woman that was at the counter. He didn’t try to assist me in any manner. Then Daniella was gonna cut my dog told me it would be about 4-5 hours and she would call me. Once I told her I would be calling corporate office about this issue she refused to service my dog. So I left and called corporate office and made a complaint against them. This is not how customers are supposed to be treated. I feel even tho I said I was calling corporate office about this issue she still should have serviced my dog. Worst service I’ve ever seen. They are supposed to be here to service people and take care of the animals that come in there not refuse to provide service because a customer gonna complain about them. No assistance from this location about the service was given by the manager on duty. If u want ur dog to get service make sure u are able to get the small side of ur comb through their hair. Just moved from Florida and I always took my dog to Petco’s grooming and they were always great over there. Sadly, I cannot say the same about this location. From the start, Casey was not friendly at all with us or with the dog. The service per se was not good either, his haircut is very uneven and doesn’t look like it was done by a professional. At the end, I was so irritated by her attitude that I told her she should try to smile more and her answer was “I am working” with also a very bad attitude. I told her that she works with dogs and that it should be a happy job. She just repeated “I am working”. Being friendly and just having good manners is VERY important when you work with people, Casey. If you don’t like your job (which is what it looks like) maybe it is time for a change. First and last, I would not trust leaving my dog here!

I gave this a 3 star review because of the prices only. It’s very EXPENSIVE.I had a coupon that came with a pup box I got for Brutus Bone Broth. It was to good to pass up since my girl, Oakley absolutely LOVES this as a frozen treat. The coupon was too good to pass up. $4.99 for a full thing of it however I had to pick it up which wasn’t a problem. While I was there I decided to look around to see how much items cost since my dog was with me I decided to get her a treat. As I was looking at dog toys, treats as well as dog food I seen the prices were EXPENSIVE. You can get the same things at other stores or online anywhere between $3-$8 cheaper. I ended up getting her a sample bag of two different treats that were $2.09 & $2.99 each bag has anywhere between 5-10 little treats in them with a $2 coupon on the back which I love since I can use it anywhere. I can say the associates are very sweet & helpful and the store is really clean even with animals going in and out all day 😊 Unfortunately I will not be shopping here again unless I would like to get a small bag of treats for her to try before getting a bigger bag which will be a while because the two I did get, she absolutely LOVES!!! She’s a very picky eater so I’m going to stick to those for a while along with the bones she loves from Amazon.

First of all, I called the store , and spoke to an employee about freshwater fish. Her name is Tori. She was so kind, and so patient with me. I ask her alot of questions, and she did not hesitate to answer each question. She took her time helping me. Then we came to the store, and she helped us with picking out some freshwater fish we had talked about. Again, she was very helpful, informative, and answered every question we had. I just wanted her management team to know how much I appreciate her help, and time. She is definitely an asset to your company. We go here for pet supplies, dog training, and grooming. They have good sales (be sure to use the rewards program!). Our 11month old puppy just finished the level 1 adult class and the trainer, Morgan, is fantastic! What a difference in 6 weeks of training. The grooming is good also!

Tisha, is rude, argumentative and lacked knowledge in what she was saying. Copped a major attitude, and any repercussion to that employee is unlikely as they seem VERY comfortable in their behavior. Meaning, they get away with too much.The fish tank area has been poorly maintained and unkempt for months now. Stock is always blocking aisles, messy and dirty floor. The ferret cages are filthy and they lack again, basic up to date knowledge on animal care. Please do not take advice from a retail pet store worker on your furkid's care.

UPDATE (April 5, 2022) In just a few weeks, you can see the difference in our furry baby's coat. It's shiny and his bald spots are nearly completely filled in. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the Petco Team. ORIGINAL POST: Our beloved furry baby has suffered terribly from skin issues. The current consensus is that allergies may be the culprit. Unfortunately, we are unsure if the allergies are due to ingredients in his food, or if they are seasonal. Recently, as I searched the aisles for 'hot spot' and anti-itch treatments, I asked one of the associates which would be the best fit to treat his ailments. The associate was kind enough to query one of the professional groomers on staff. Ms. Tish (a groomer) was not only knowledgeable, she was kind, considerate, and empathetic as I teared up with the utmost concern of how to give our little honey some relief from the constant itching, scratching, and licking. Poor baby. Expertly, she suggested his PH Balance may be out of range. In addition, recently, it has been suspected the process of certain foods (chicken) may be causing an adverse effect. Perhaps it was fate the Manager, Ms. Deana was standing by in earshot for a separate issue. Ms. Tish encouraged the use of Apple Cider Vinegar and a Tea Tree shampoo to soothe and rectify the condition. Moreover, the team was able to suggest transitioning to a predominant Fish nutrition plan and to read all of the packaged ingredients to make proper choices in nutrition. On day one, as suggested, I used a cotton ball to rub ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) on the affected areas. I also incorporated a half-cap of AVC to his drinking water. After only three days, I have seen remarkable results. I had already ordered a very high-end fish/potato food product from an online company. In the interim. I purchased the Tea Tree shampoo and Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon and Rice Formula from Petco per Deana's recommendation. I know it should take several weeks; however, there is a noticeable difference with the thick, caked dandruff spots on his back turning into smooth spots. Using a cotton ball, I rubbed the ACV on his affected areas and the flaking has all but cleared up. Our baby has gone through a myriad of medications from the Vet and nothing has helped until now. I will continue this treatment from PetCo and perhaps post a YouTube video of our baby's journey toward happy health. I cannot thank the Team at the Flowers North Carolina Petco enough for their indomitable Customer Service. Because of this connection, you have potentially changed the extended well-being of our Pepper. Thank you for your dedication and advocacy for Pet Health.

The staff is very friendly and we’ve had a good experience getting my dog groomed here. My dog, Atlas, has separation anxiety and Tom is very patient with him and made sure Atlas was comfortable with him before I left. They give report cards after your pets visit which I love!

Only went in for cat flea treatment but left extremely satisfied! Staff was very friendly and helpful and immediately helped me find what I was looking for. They let me hold a ferret as well after asking if they had any! 10/10 experience highly recommend this Petco!

Cashier was the nicest most helpful worker there. But the rest of the store was a mess, literally. They were clearly working on a truck. There were large pallets out on the floor blocking full aisles completely and then more boats that werent being actively worked, and should have been kept off floor. It was extremely hard to navigate around, not to mention a fire hazard and definitely not ADA compliant. There were maybe 3 or 4 employees we saw out on the floor working. But nobody greeted us or offered to move vehicles that were in our way, but instead ignored us completely as they worked around us.The prices were also fairly high, and about the same when compared to nonspecialized pet stores, like Target. I saw no great sales or incentives to return and shop in store. I expected a better value for a specialized store.

First day of dog training and it went great. Ashlea was very thorough in her instructions and Lexi did well. The store is very nice and staff was friendly. After visiting there actually prefer to PetSmart.T10/29/23. Took both dogs there. Nice clean store and the staff is friendly and helpful.
