Friendly staff most of the time and very helpful. This place is a lifesaver for little things like water, milk, and other essential items. Good selection of cleaning supplies and paper products. Not the best quality for some household maintenance items but when you need something, they generally have it or at least something that can tide you over. Sure beats driving all the way to Beaufort for a can of soup or carton of milk.

Every visit is very pleasant. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The store isn't congested to make it hard to walk around or find what your looking for. I would recommend this location to anyone. It stays up to date on merchandise as well!!

I love having this store close now. They offer so many things of good quality for great prices. Like milk and bread, yard stuff and towels. Lots of cleaning products and toiletries that you never see this inexpensive.

The manger was on personal call and talking so loud that everyone in line to check out could hear every word and they were not words the public needed to here. It was obvious she was very upset. Several people in line and she needed to be helping. The checkout girl new did not know how to key in $5 coupon. I had over $100.00 purchase and was not going to give me the $5 until l told her to get the manger that was screaming. Far from professional. This store has gone down hill in the last year. I like DG and this experience will not keep me away just shop at different location.

It really just depends day to day. Most days are only adequate, though. The staff is variable between "friendly" and "dead in the face". The store recently had a change in setup and it is still very cluttered. There are often boxes or pallets of unplaced items k, the aisles. I feel this may be the result of an understaffing that can't be resolved because of this store's location. Notable staff whom I don't see much of any more include Shane, Jalen, and Betty. There is another man named James who is a well performer. But honestly, it's a dollar store. You go there to get quick things that you couldn't find at the gas station next door.

I shop here often for the low prices and friendly service! It's always cool when the workers pretty much know what you want when you stop thru...and tell you about sales, coupons, etc!

Very disappointed in their return policy. I recently got some tennis shoes from the Whiteville store which were too big. Decided to return them at the Clarkton store being that is my local store. I was advised by Joseph that the shoes could not be returned because their particular store did not carry that item. Way not cool. You have lost my business Ms. Kathy and District Manager LaFontaine.

This store was junky. Can you say hazard? From the front of the store to the back of the store including the shelves that held the merchandise. I could NOT find anything I was looking to purchase. After five minutes of trying I gave up & left. The associates didn't ask if I needed help either.

The lady at the register was really busy and had to point me in the direction of the item I was searching for. She didn't have any-way of walking into the store because they apparently didn't have any staff to help her.
