I've been taking my fur baby here for 10 years and the owner has been good to him every time. Scotty (my dog) has allergies and sensitive skin, and she is very gentle with him. Great place!

Took our puppy here based off of a referral from a friend. What a mistake that was. We asked them to shave his hair short, which they did. When we returned for him he hadn't been bathed and his nails weren't filed. We were charged $45.When we asked if they could file his nails we received a prompt "that'll be another $15".REALLY?!? Upon further inspection we found that they had missed a few spots and shaved so close on his belly that it was raw and red. We've had to apply lotion to sooth his skin and to stop him from itching. In addition,he hasn't been acting the same since we've brought him home. A once confident energetic dog is now acting timid and barely leaves his crate. He has been sleeping for most of the past few days ,and appears to have no energy. Also has been crying for what seems to be no reason at all. We are sure of one thing; that they were rough with him while shaving. It seems as if we've received a completely different dog, based on his demeanor. If you are in this business you should display a love for dogs and animals alike and treat them accordingly. It's become very clear that Precious Pets displayed neither. I highly advise that you bring your pets elsewhere. I would truly hate for this incident to happen to another family. If zero stars were an option they surely would have earned it. PLEASE look elsewhere.

When I first called, seemed so very nice, talked to me quite a bit about my dogs and made me feel at ease.Because of this, and the fact they were a little over due to be groomed,I gave the woman twice what she asked to groom my dogs.I was told since I had three they would be 35 a piece. To show my appreciation and being a new customer I gave the woman $200. My being generous must have been confused with pure stupidity because the next time I took them, she told me $40 a piece, then when I walked in she said"That will be $135" Since they only take cash I should have said "That's all I brought" maybe I was charged more because I asked that they please do their nails. The first time they did not. When I got home,I noticed my boy had blood raised to the surface of his skin on his ear.I KNOW what that was. That was from grabbing and pulling his ear. When she called me to come get them I was in Kannapolis, drove like a maniac,in a thunderstorm to get there asap and she seemed very angry.I am always happy to tip and show my appreciation to others.I had hoped to build a good relationship there and have a long term groomer for my dogs. They lost a good customer.
