I personally loved the place. Pay the ticket at the entrance and either drive 2 miles to the parking lot or choose Four Seasons hiking route. From the parking lot you have two options. Either take the stairs and enjoy great views or ride an elevator to reach the top. Great experience!! Don’t forget to visit when you are in Carolinas; fall season should give and extra ordinary view!

I absolutely loved this place. We only made it as far up as the flag. It has a lot of stairs to climb up to it and I am overweight, have knee and back issues and with a few breathing stops was able to make it up and then downstairs to the parking lot.

Great hike to chimney rock. Continuing on to the skyline trail wasn't worth it. I'd recommend stopping at Exclamation Point. The hike down to waterfall bottom was definitely worth it!

It was a great day spent with my husband and 3 of our kids that still live at home . Boys 8 and 12 and a girl 18 and all of us had fun. We walked the river looked through pretty rocks boys swam in the river I couldn't handle it, already to cold. LolWent through gift shops and just spent time together. I absolutely love family time that doesn't involve spending tons it money or some huge event.I love the simple things in life!!

Great Little spot to watch the river and walk along it briefly. Such a great place to visit. A must for outdoor enthusiasts. Especially Chimney Rock State Park.

I love this kind of places, also this is good for kids that doesn't like to walk that much, they have elevator to get to the top. I been there two times, and I'll be there a third.

Great little trail along the river in scenic Chimney Rock NC.The first 15 min we observed 5 trout being caught, a mother mallard with babies shooting the rapids, a beaver and a lounging lizard. Very easy access and not strenuous. Pet friendly.
