Service was perfect. The ladies treated myself andy dog like a king and queen, gushing over my pup Ringo and giving him some chicken and big bowl of water. Thank you to all of the staff,and especially Judy (our server).Kid-friendliness: My kid is my service dog and they treated him like royalty.....big dish of water and some freshly pulled chicken just for Ringo. We sat outside and it was such a beautiful evening, the ladies were so great who served us!

OK, y'all know I travel for BBQ but this place is close to my house. The BBQ pork was amazing! Fried Okra was amazing too. The smoked shrimp tacos were great. I can't tell you any reason NOT to eat here. In fact, if you drive thru and Don't eat here, you done messed up! They do serve adult beverages if that matters to you.This place is on my top 5 list!

The pulled pork or chicken are both excellent. The view of Chimney Rock is so relaxing and so beautiful. The atmosphere is great very family-oriented and relaxing. And the service was excellent Becca was my server and she did a great job all of the servers there are excellent and they work very hard to take care of their customers my favorite place to go in this areaKid-friendliness: Nice picnic tables for the families to eat at. It's pet friendly you can bring your dogs to eat outside. They do have cornhole that people play.

We stayed in Chimney Rock and we spotted this smoke house, we ordered to go. Everyone was so nice and my husband met the owners, but more importantly the brisket was so freaking moist and delicious. I could taste the smoke. The smoke ring was gorgeous. We got the sampler platter and we were not disappointed in anything. The “Cooked to Death” green beans were amazing (I didn’t need to add salt either) and were flavored so good. The cheddar sausage was phenomenal and it had a nice snap to it. The baked beans were full of beans and tasted amazing. The smoked wings were finger licking fantastic. The pulled pork was great and did I mention how amazing and juicy the brisket was? The ribs were also amazing and I loved the flavor plus they were pull off the bone. The side sauces weren’t even needed but I tried them anyways, OH MY WOW!!!!! The bbq sauce was amazing but the mustard sauce was so next level I wanted to drink it. WE WILL BE BACK!!!! They are opened year round. This was a great getaway with great food and super nice people.

I was expecting more of a "cafeteria" style the way BBQ usually is but this place had table service and I was pleasantly surprised. Margie was our server and she was GREAT. We had our dogs with us and my only slight complaint was that we could not even sit on the covered concrete patio with them, we had to sit at the picnic tables in the parking area. (first world problem). Those tables were covered too so no big deal. Bloody Mary and the potato salad were amazing.Vegetarian options: Jalapeno hush puppies, potato salad, tomato sandwich can come with or without bacon. Mac and Cheese.

Had the Pit Boss platter so we could try everything and it was so good! We started with the jalapeño hush puppies and they were excellent. A sign of a good BBQ joint is good hush puppies and sweet tea. Both were excellent so we knew we were in for a treat. Margi was excellent and we’ll definitely be going back when we’re riding through Chimney Rock again!

Amazing BBQ! Highly recommend their Brisket Hoagie - they do not skimp on the meat and it is to die for. Everything we enjoyed here was so tasty and high quality, and sizeable portions too. Margie took great care of us, and she went the extra mile when it came to my kiddo. You'll most certainly enjoy your stop at this restaurant and you will leave FULL!

Chopped brisket was cooked well and left juicy. 1/2 rack of ribs sooo good smoked and just thr right amount of sauce fall off the bone kinda meat. Mac & cheese left a little to be desired but we shared it with the couple next to us visiting from Ohio. Hush puppies were dense but cooked well with a ton of flavor. Jalapeño and Cheddar sausage STOLE THE SHOW!!!! GET AN EXTRA PIECE- DO NOT SHARE! Served hot and juicy with the most unexpected phenomenal mustard sauce you can imagine. Ice cold beer on tap! Live music was sooo nice on a Sunday afternoon. The place fills up quick!

The energy is great and the food was served to perfection. Customer service is on point. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Banana pudding was perfect. Brisket hoagie, cornbread and ribs are amazing. Good variety of local drafts a long with domestic. Our kids didn’t care for the Mac n cheese but they expect velveeta opposed to homemade sadly. You won’t be disappointed with your experience here.Kid-friendliness: Friendly service

We just ate here the other night after a long day at Chimney Rock park. We all enjoyed our food, it was delicious! Brisket was perfect, and their sides were all yummy too. Will come again.Kid-friendliness: Outside picnic tables worked for us with the littles just fine. They also had a high chair.

Our favorite place in town for bbq! We love stopping here to grab a drink on date night or enjoy a dinner with the kids when I’m not in the mood to cook. 5 stars all around! The atmosphere is always inviting. The staff is fabulous and the food is always top notch! The best brisket I have ever eaten by far! This has even become our go to place for catering. We have hosted two luncheons for our real estate office in the past month and had both catered by the Smokehouse with raving reviews! Everyone loved it so much the first time they requested we have it again for our next lunch meeting 2 weeks later! A must stop when in Chimeny Rock!Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten free and they always make sure to accommodate for me!

Got a blt while my boyfriend got brisket and his friend got an assorted platter we all enjoyed it. I got Mac and cheese as a side and I didn’t like it very much my boyfriend thought it was okay. Waitress recommended fried banana pudding which we got and it was very disappointing. I figured it would be a ball of banana pudding that was fried somehow, however it was boxed banana pudding with hard nilla wafers and a fried banana on top.

This was excellent food. We didn't have to wait to long to get our food. It was great to get off Chimney Rock and get good food right there. Parking is right beside this place and only cost five dollars. I got the Top of the Rock sandwich, but didn't get a picture till I was half way through it!Parking: We parked in the big lot beside the smokehouse for five dollars.

Shrimp taco is good. Brunswick stew is good. Hush puppies are very good. Wings are very good. Sauces are very good. They have bands. Get there early on popular days to get brisket before they run out. Update: Brisket taco & plate are good. Christmas decorations were awesome!!! They took a lot of time putting them up. It was great! Fun & festive atmosphere!Parking: $5/day for lot next door. 2 free spots in front & street parking.

Great,new place in Chimney Rock!! Food was AMAZING! Ate the pulled pork sandwich with smoked Mac and cheese! Margaret was amazing also! Very friendly and made us feel right at home! She’s definitely a reason I’m itself to come back!

We ate there this past weekend. Holy Smokes was it good. We shared a large sampler plate with another couple. The full wings were excellent. The ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had. But the jalapeño cheddar sausage was without a doubt, the best sausage I’ve ever had. Period. It was moist and extremely flavorful.Despite the place being busy service was very quick and the staff were friendly. They were just awarded best barbecue by Carolina Country magazine.As a great touch, the night we went they had a great band playing in the parking lot. So much fun. We even went outside and danced!

We visited Thursday, around 6:20. While we though the prices were a "little high", what the heck. I ordered a pork plate with BBQ beans. I've attached a photo...for $15 that's all the food and especially BBQ I got, for $15! Compare the size of the spoon to the small pile of pork. After finishing that I was still hungry. The pork was delicious, just not enough for the price.Speaking of price, my wife ordered the 1/2 chicken. It was $18! We can get a whole rotisserie chicken for $5 at Ingles. She said it had no flavor and I tried and it didn't. The BBQ sauce was good so she saused it up. Never again.Our grandson got the shrimp sandwich and he loved it. We tried a shrimp and it was very good.The iced tea was perfect and service was good.However, $68 for a BBQ dinner with this small amount of food was disappointing. We were hoping to have good BBQ at a reasonable price.Good luck.

Just opened a week ago. Struggling with help and poor waitstaff. Cocktails were awesome. I had the ribs and not very good. Hated the bake beans, mostly a Lima bean blend. They were out of pulled pork that day. The brisket was very tasty. Try the Bloody Mary very good.
