Sitting outside is paradise! Great wine and DELICIOUS fresh food perfect for any day (the chicken salad is amazing and the cheese plate is huge and perfect for sharing!). Warm when the sun is out and cool and moody when it’s raining with awesome views of Chimney Rock all the time. Check it out when there is live music on the patio! We love when Rumor Mill is playing!

Very beautiful location! I would recommend sitting outside if you can get a table. The view is amazing! The menu Is limited, but the portions are large and the food is good. I didn't have the wine, but there is a lot to choose from and you can get a flight and try four different wines. There are no kids meals listed on the menu, but I overheard a server telling a table that they do have kids meals available. They had live music when we were there and it was a nice vibe.

Angelique…is Amazing. We’re from Rutherford County and spent the evening in Chimney Rock for my birthday. Kris booked the tasting room for my group of 10, and set us up with Angelique. We felt like we were wanted there, from the minute the hostess greeted us. We had a GREAT time. After discussing our whole experience from where we stayed, to the different places we experienced and Burntshirt was collectively the best experience. Some of the places we went, we didn't really feel "welcomed", ( which is sad to be treated like that in your own county) but the staff knocked it out of the park. Angelique laughed with us , helped us choose our flights and food, she was on top of everything. 10/10 highly recommend!!

5 star views with average wine.Picture perfect views of Chimney Rock State park with huge patio and live music. Beautiful, massive tasting room but unfortunately I was not impressed with the wine. I ordered a flight and nothing really stood out.Also, better than expected food. I ordered the fish sandwich which was delicious.Would go back soley for the spectacular views.

Sat on the patio- man, what a view! Started with a new beer for me, loved it! The Brussel sprouts were so tender and flavorful with just the right amount of dijon/Mayo and honey; I almost didn't want to swallow them. The bbq pork egg rolls were not pleasing to my pallet because I always have a hard time with bbq inside an egg roll and fried. It was split down the middle for those of us who liked/didn't like, but the sauce was perfect, and fresh green onions made it pop. We chose the 2 smash burgers and the meatball sandwich. Oh my WOW, both burgers were magnificent. The signature burger had 2 thin and crispy patties with bacon jam in between them. If that wasn't enough, the bun was grilled and a gouda cheese sauce was great. The smash burger we thought couldn't top it but oh my. A Must try!! We didn't think we wanted dessert because we ate everything but when she said fresh homemade beignets and we are from Cajun Country- it was a YES! They were absolutely phenomenal! Must go again sooner rather than later.

Food was absolutely delicious! The Spicy Lamb Ribs were by far my favorite and it wasn't even my order. Food has the right amount of seasoning for every dish we ordered. Highly recommend to stop at this location whether to just eat or after visiting the Chimney Rick State Park. Gorgeous views from the outside dining area, very calming atmosphere. Our server was very sweet and helpful choosing items off the menu. Definitely coming back again!

Absolutely wonderful experience. We were visiting for a couple days and the first thing we did was hike all the Chimney Rock trails. After the excursion we wanted to admire what we just conquered and we found the perfect place at Burntshirt! The trout was absolutely spectacular with the variety of wine we got to taste but nothing beats the view. Don’t go to early or it’s way to hot to be enjoyed!

Google says they close at 7. We call they say they close at 7:00 we get here 6:12 and hostess says kitchen is closed but we can get drinks and that the place closes in 30 minutes. So I ask so you guys close at 6:42? And she says yes. Then says we can get drinks at the bar or go sit outside and they will serve us. I say we will go to the bar and get drinks. Walk up to the bartender lady and she says “can I help you? Because we are closed” in a way like we’re dumb for being there. Would like If they’d actually list their hours on google correctly and teach their staff when they close. I mean is it 6, 6:42, 7:00 or right now?? Annoying driving to here and finding parking and made look like a idiot for nothing of our fault but their own.

This location has really cool architecture and had a really nice layout. The menu was limited the day we visited, but the food was very delicious. We also tried a flight of wines and enjoyed most of them. The server was fantastic and always checked in. I would definitely check it out.

I am not one to give negative reviews. I was really looking forward to visiting. We came here on our last day in Lure Lake to have lunch and enjoy a drink or 2. We got their right as they opened. There is only sitting outside which was fine cause it was a beautiful day. The hostess brought us drink menu's and food menu's and said our server would be with us. His name was Kris or at least that was the name on the receipt. He came to our table crabby and he had just started the day. We smiled and thought well maybe I his attitude would change. He took our drink orders and asked if we were ready to order, we just got our menu's and we told him we would need a few minutes. He walked away. We tried to ask a few questions but he wasn't having it. I said maybe when he comes back out he will be better. He changed a little bit but was still snappy and took our order and left. Our food was brought out. It looked good and for the most part it was. My Aunt ordered a burger and I ordered the rueben. We never saw him again. He wouldn't even look our way and he had to walk by us to go inside. The burger was on the dryer side and had no condiments. So she ate a little bit of it and left the rest. I was bummed with the poor service that we received and the lack of care. I will definitely give it a second chance to see if next time will be better. My meal was really good.

Free live music and wine on a Sunday afternoon! More interested in the music, we skipped the tasting and bought a bottle of wine. We headed to the cashier and asked which white wine is most popular. Strangely, she asked if we like sweet or dry. Not what I wanted to know. Anyway, we took the bottle out to the patio and had a relaxing afternoon. We will be back to here music.

Slow. Slow. Slow. Hostess rude facial expressions. No clean cups so drinking water in solo cups. Took an hour to get seated even though plenty of table were empty. Ended up with a table that was empty the whole time. Cajun Pasta had a good flavor. Some photos are from town not location. Parking is very limited (7 parking spots total). Had to find the waitress to pay.

Amazing! From the atmosphere to the wine to the food, one of the best experiences ever!Update: visited for a second time in February 2022 and it was even better than the first time! Had the roasted beets, fried green tomatoes, pan seared trout, and Cajun pasta - amazing!

A special place to create a special evening. Elevated and across the street from the river, Burntshirt offers a whole new perspective on Chimney Rock Village. The wine, the food, the view…it’s a wonderful place to take your wife and spend a romantic evening together. I want to add another Thank You to our server, Kaci, for the evening. She was so bright and friendly, so helpful and attentive. She and others like her who go to work and take joy and pride in their work really make the difference in our overall experience. Many thanks again and yes, we look forward to our next visit!
