It has a Country store feel, and is loaded with items. There is everything from BBQ sauce to clothing. It does have two sides, one has the ol' time store, while the other is a more modern store. The folks we talked to during our visit were very nice and helpful. The store also was a surprise, that it sells some name brand items, from shoes to shirts and more. I would recommend giving this location a bit of time to go shopping in, it's not a junk store. It's nice, and will probably have something for almost everyone.

They have a little bit of everything, and an excellent selection at that! Great clothing options, camping/fishing gear, and good price points. It was raining hard today; my husband forgot his raincoat on our trip so it was nice to purchase one at a reasonable price and a couple towels for our wet dog. I also walked out with some awesome clothing; their brand selection is top notch.

A nice little general store in the heart of the Chimney Rock Village. A bit pricey, $30 Chimney Rock T-shirts, but there are plenty affordable souvenirs and a great selection of winter clothing, again a bit pricey. The high point, of course, was getting to see and pet the beautiful mascot Bubba!!! Definitely stop here, my perception of pricey may not be the same as yours.

The best store in Chimney Rock! A wonderful mix of upscale outdoor clothes/gear, fun teeshirts, candy and random knick-knack gifts. We did not see Bubba, but we did bring our dog to the mural (he waited outside the shop).

This is a neat general store in the heart of Chimney Rock. They have all kinds of items from souvenirs to tools to hiking gear to small candies. They even had a neat little telescoping hot dog roaster. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful.

Fun store to shop. They have all kinds of items like old time toys, candy, moonshine jelly, boots, clothes, cooking utensils, decorative items, etc... We spent an hour in the store and bought a few souvenirs.

Takes me back to an old time toy and and candy store. I plan on taking my 8 year old grandson there to visit. It's a great store for adults as well

My husband and I visited Chimney Rock for the holidays last year and he purchased a local hat (only sold at Bubba's) that quickly became his favorite since it was his first time ever traveling to North Carolina. Our dog unfortunately got a hold of it and we thought for sure it was irreplaceable. We reached out to Bubba's to see if they happened to have it in stock still (nearly a year later) and they did! Not only that, but they offered to ship one to us in Texas without hesitation. Made my husband's day and can't wait to come back again when we visit!

What a great souvenir and hiking it stop all-in-one place with an option to buy sweet treats and Something for anybody on your list. I walked in wanting to get candy for my kids and walked out with an "I love Lucy" apron, road trip games for my children, lip balm, Chimney Rock park stickers, and a great long sleeve T-shirt. Great selection on Chimney Rock and Lake Lure apparel. Totally forgot the candy as the store was very well stocked.

Shopping at Bubba's is a must when visiting Chimney Rock. The store has quality merchandise and a helpful staff. I wish Bubba's was open on Sundays.

Sale items were not clearly marked. Red lined tag is "40%" off, however the shoe I picked up was red lined and had a 25% off sticker on it. When asked, it was only 25% off, not 40%. Also, the area where they keep the back stock of shoes isn't marked as employees only. When we reached in to grab the shoe we were going to buy, we were quickly chastised that it "employees only" in a very rude tone. I'd recommend keeping the curtain closed or a door on your "employee only" rooms and also having your employees not walk around looking like customers so it's clear who is an employee and who isn't. Definitely won't be doing business here.

This is my favorite store in Chimney Rock! The variety of products is wonderful. There's something for everyone and I had a nice chat with the lady who checked me out about the history of the store. Don't miss Bubba O'Leary's when you're in the area. It's the heart of the town.

5☆We had a good experience coming here.. The lady was very nice to us and helped us find the matching t-shirts we were looking for.. :-)The boy working at the cash register was kind and courteous to us..We had no problems they have an unbelievable amount of stuff, We always buy matching t-shirts.. We found what we were looking for we bought a few other knick-knacks.Overall, experience was great and will definitely return. :-) and for that reason I gave it 5 stars I highly recommend the place they have all kinds of stuff that you can possibly want for a souvenir for yourself or somebody.. Highly Recommend

Loved the store! They have lots of things. Best part was the selection of vintage candies. Staff was polite and friendly. It was a little overpriced but I guess that’s how it is when you go to a very popular place during high season.

Great place for nostalgia. Toys, candies from your childhood. RC Cola and moon pies! Also, they have a good selection of hot sauces. Even the nuclear “Da Bomb” hot sauce. That’s hard to find besides online, but a famous one. Also they have some logo wear too. Got my daughter a shirt and enjoyed the visit!

The store has a really great selection or modern and nostalgic items for multiple generations. There is even a great clothing section that would meet your everyday and seasonal needs based on whatever activity that you were trying to do in Chimney Rock.

I am from Texas, and I always find something to buy here... kitchen gadgets, t-shirts. My friend bought a beautiful button up shirt...a bit expensive for my taste, but it was 15% off. They always have a good selection of t-shirts. Needed another size for my grandson, and they were happy to go look to see if they had it.

They had several signs posted throughout the store and on the front door of the store that clearly stated ALL REDLINED CLEARANCE 40% OFF. I took 1 t-shirt and two pairs of shorts to the counter for purchase. All 3 items were red lined clearance. The rude woman at the counter informed me the shirt was only 25% off evrn though the signs clearly srated ALL red lined is 40%. She sais she was the owner and blamed the signs on her husband....bottom line is she refused to do the right thing and sell the item at the 40$ discount per the signs. To make matters even worse when i gi to car i was looking at my recipt and saw she didnt discount the shorts at all!! I took the items with my reciept back to the store. When i walked in i went the counter and she was thier with her husband and she siad "O THATS HIM". I pointed out what she she did wrong and made her give the amount she overcharged me ( over 44.00 overcharged). Be very aware in this store...the sale signs are false advertising and the will cheat you at the register. Very misleading and not very trustworthy....stay away from this store.

This is one of those stores that I could easily drop my whole paycheck in. They carry all of the names brands you would expect to find in any outdoor store. They have clothes, jackets, shoes, bags, gear, & more. It's hands down my favorite type of store to go into looking for a souvenir!
