The groomers here are terrible. They do nothing but shave dogs down or refuse to service the dog at the slightest whimpering of the dog. We brought our Great Pyrenees in for a bath and cut. As we all know they have 2 coats for their breed type. The tech did not mention anything about him needing to be shaved down during the visual inspection. After drop off we received no phone call about any issues. We received a phone call to pick him up and they instructed that they had to charge us an extra $10 then the original quote because there were some areas that our dog did not like to be touched so they needed to bring in an extra person to handle him so instead of 200 it would be 210. At the time of pick up they made us pay for everything and then instructed us that they were not able to save his hair and shaved him down to his bears skin and for great Pyrenees that’s not good. And that now we would have to worry about him, possibly biting his skin because the skin was shaved off and that we need to put sunblock on him because his type of dog is not. belong in the sun or he’ll get sunburned due to not having the hair that they shave down when asked why they did not call us to tell us that they could not save the hair just said it was too late and they had to do it so after we paid and they brought them out our dog was completely violated. They only left the hair on the tail in his head and that was completely at this place is terrible. Poor communication did not offer any reconciliation and just continue to say there was nothing they could do meanwhile while we were there picking up our dog, the other stylist because the dog started whimper at her, brushing their hair so hard this place is completely professional not recommended zero stars if possible

It's PetSmart.. or is it PetsMart!? Who knows.. anyways.. it's a PetSmart, much like any other PetSmart. Have ya been to PetSmart before!? Then ya probably know what this PetSmart is like.. why are you reading reviews of a national chain store anyways? Are you a weirdo or something? I think you are if you've made it this far into my review, but that's okay.. I'm pretty weird too.. anyways, back to the review: I like that they offer cats for adoption, that's really cool. I also like that the staff are friendly and helpful.. that's also really cool. I mean, I know it's their job, but I've never had a negative interaction there (I don't usually have negative interactions anywhere but for some reason, I felt it necessary to stress this point in my review). My point is, I like to go there. Anytime I've needed help, the staff have always been polite and helpful. I like to look at the guinea pigs while I'm there too. I also enjoy seeing other customers with dogs while I'm there. I've seen so many cute dogs. Cute animals make my heart melt. The fish are cool too, tho. I guess fish are cute.. idk, but they are definitely fun to look at! So many different kinds. I dream about owning a giant aquarium one day with all types of cool fishies and cool tank accessories but I don't have space for stuff like that at the moment.. a boy can dream though.. anywho, in conclusion, I bought live crickets there once & PetSmart is cool 😎I don't have any pics of this PetSmart (or any PetSmart for that matter) but I do have pics of my pets, so enjoy!

They all were super friendly and likeable but when I got home I realized, I had paid for bath and furminator plus the furminator luxury. she didn’t have a bandanna or bow. She was also still wet and now smells bad, notice that’s she still had dirt on her back so have a feeling she wasn’t brushed much. $107 and seem like a waste of money.

I visit often. I use Banfield for my cat Luna's checkups. She doesn't like it very much but everyone is so friendly there. They try to help her calm down but she's a cat. Most pets don't like the vet. Very friendly staff!

The store itself is nice. However the grooming department is absolutely atrocious. Bad attitudes, bad vibes all of the above. When picking up my dog I see all the other groomers irritated and agitated b/c the dogs they’re working on are moving to much. One groomer by the name of Jenna who worked on my dog was very rude. She expressed herself she is not experienced especially with puppies. When she came to speak to me about my puppies experience she expressed nasty comments stating she’s super intolerable and saying she won’t be working on her again due to that fact. My dog had tears in her eyes when they were bringing her to me and that hurt my heart. I will not be coming back to petsmart for grooming at all. I advise you all to do the same if you have younger dogs.

I'm about to try this pet shampoo that cost me almost 30 bucks to help my pets shedding coat. I do feel it is quite expensive, but I'm willing to pay to get my pet coat back to normal, so I hope it works and I'm satisfied. I've trusted PetSmarts Banfield for almost 3 years now.

Do NOT buy live animals from this store!! Ive witnessed pythons cohabitated, sick and rotten fish and frog corpses in the water or sometimes being eaten by other fish or snails. Dehydrated and sickly chameleons, betta, and also lack of good diet for the guinea pigs. They also keep their reptiles, fish and small animals in tanks way too small for their size without at least specifying what tank size and needs they ACTUALLY can be in (they do for fish but not for betta or reptiles) almost all the fish I’ve bought from them came sick and died in less than a week, the information both me and family member were given for different fish and small animals were false. The amount of empty water bowls and dead animals in this store disgust me. Do not support this store or the sickly breeders they come from! Support local humane breeders and adopt these animals instead. Do not support the mistreatment from this store.

Count your days PetSmart.. they gave medog back wet, shaved and patchy. He looks like he got a botched fade. I asked them to round him out and they did NOT do that. He is a fluffy dog and has hardly any fluff left.

No wonder this poor baby died. PetSmart, I understand your understaffed... But these babies need better living conditions. It’s sad that when finally purchased they are so close to death and if the new owner isn’t at all understanding they could live out a short life in another small tank. Or worse, death. There is NO reason employees should be leaving work knowing these babies waters weren’t changed, it’s a lot simpler then someone may think.#dobetterpetsmart

Love this place and the animals. They're was this one guy when he was getting pee fish I swear he killed it the fish didn't want to come out of the container so he kept refiling the container with water almost over filling the bag. Other than him great place def recommend

I was greeted when i came in the door. I wish their birthday selection was larger but i was able to find some cool things to celebrate my baby Coko's first birthday. When i got to the register, the guy was nice and polite. A great experience for me.

I get my dog Freddy groomed here. I generally book for 7am so he's done by lunch. What gets me is the groomers don't walk in until 7am. Then they have to boot up computers which takes them 5 or so minutes. They must be running Windows 98 as slow as they boot. There's people stocking shelves before 7am. Why can't they boot computers up so grooming is ready at the appointment time? Generally the grooming is pretty good.

I’ve never had a bad experience here, but today was extra special. My cat is really sick and it’s been scary. My cashier was able to help me and went above and beyond. She could see I was overwhelmed and without hesitation helped me get what I needed. I really, really appreciate her kindness today! I can’t remember her name but it was at 5pm on 7/27.

The Banfield at this PetSmart is awesome. I had an alarming, potential life threatening situation with my Frenchie. As I had a previous pup that passed away from similar symptoms I was distraught and unsure what to do. Dr. Clinton, Dallas, Louise and the amazing team there were able to get my pup in quickly the same day. Not only did they alleviate my worst fears but Dr. Clinton was able to narrow down the exact issue. I am happy to say although my pup did have an injury, the care from this Banfield was the best I experienced in over 12 years of using this company. From scheduling, being seen and updated throughout the day, great communication and follow-up - I recommend this place for care and to get solid advice when you are unsure what to do.

I went to drop my dog off for his appointment only to have the appointment canceled. Within 5mins my dog somehow had a bloody eye after they took him to the back to assess him. He was pretty excited, still doesn’t explain how that happened tho. They cleaned it, it was a tiny cut on his eyelid but considered an “open wound”. They canceled and said I can reschedule within the next few days to give time to clear up. His “wound” healed well enough for a grooming. I reschedule, only to have them cancel without explanation. They called me a day before the appt. I missed it because I work. I called back and no answer. Would it kill them to leave a detailed voicemail so I know what to expect?! I rebooked and noted that I wanted to know why my appointment was canceled and still no response. I have a poodle, so I personally feel like it was just laziness and lack of skill.

WHERE is your staff?? I had to bag my own crickets last time I was there and this time I was there FOREVER to get fish.... Friendly staff WHEN they're there... I'm going to start going to a different location where they have more employees that want to show up to work. I really hope this store improves soon because I loved the location and for the sake of the employees that DO show up.

We use Banfield hospital (located inside PetSmart) for all our dog's needs. Dr. Clinton and the rest of the staff are amazing. They are so patient and caring. We also love the pet insurance which saves us a tremendous amount of money.

We took our dog to this location for the first time this week. We explicitly asked the groomer (gave instruction) for how we wanted our dog cut. She told us that she was just going to completely shave him. For reference our dog is a labradoodle and should not be shaven completely down in certain areas. This was the quickest groom we have ever gotten and we were under the impression that it was due to laziness. She was extremely rude as well. Our poor dog has not loved his new do and is super patchy in certain areas. Safe to say we are not coming back and would recommend our friends follow suit.
