I brought my puppy, Clover to this location recently to get groomed! My pup is an extremely active aussiedoodle (loves swimming, running in dirt etc) - Which caused for some matting on her coat. The groomers (I believe, Jessica!) did an incredible job taking care of the matting while keeping her beautiful coat. They also called me before letting me know their plan in the ways that they think trimming her would be best & asked for my approval, which I could not have appreciated more!!! Clover came home happy, and as cute as ever! Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!

I bought some crickets the other day.. 76 crickets... put them in and most were dead by the time I got home. NOT NORMAL! Had gone straight home from there. I'll even show pics. I was LIVID!

I had a hard time finding a good, caring groomer and was skeptical of this one in a chain store. Happily, they do a consistently good job in a timely manner, and I am comfortable leaving my little 5 pound dog in there care for a few hours. It is easy to schedule and check in online before you drop your baby off.

Tee has groomed my doggy for 13 years. She is awesome at what she does. I love how she has named him little little and how she adores him. Thank you Tee for providing amazing customer service for my pet!!! 🐾

Racism, The manager or assistant manager has a problem with Hispanics, I have been a customer here for a long time and I always come with my son and I get a bichon frize because they groom him, every time I come my son plays with the cats and not only There are many children and no one has said anything at all, this time. A tall man with no hair approached him and told him not to bother the cats. We went to grab our purchases and he was following us throughout the store. My dog had an accident and I left my things on top of the cabinets and ran through the store. paper and a bag to clean, the man who claims to be a manager because he first told me that he was the manager of the store grabbed my things even though we told him that they belonged to us and he returned them to their place, when I asked him why he did it he told me that it was the manager and I went to the cashier to ask for the manager this man followed us and he told the cashier not to tell me his name and I asked him why and he said that he was the assistant manager the young man at the cashier gave us the name about this man who is Dwang, I really worry about this young man because this manager threatened him not to give us his name, what is he afraid of, by the way the young man is of Hispanic descent, here is where I see racism on the part of this manager or assistant manager. This fact is regrettable and above all this man threatened my son not to record it, I tell you sir, my son is a minor and you are an abuser and racist. It is also sad that a lady is recording and laughing at this, what a sad reality.

I bought a small betta fish on 6/11/23 unfortunately it died on 6/19/23 so i called the store earlier in the day and spoke to the store manager Leo who advised me to come in for an exchange. I asked was it necessary to bring the dead fish in to exchange it. (Who wants to walk around with a dead fish) I told him I have a video he said it wouldn’t be necessary & said if i came in before 5 he would take care of it because he knows the situation but he would notify the other manager if i came in later.I came in this evening at 7pm. To do the exchange. After the transaction was complete and the cashier (a white lady with glasses) said that next time i need to bring the dead fish in. I told her that i spoke with the store manager and that i would not be walking around with a dead fish. I told her i have a video if she’d like to see it. It’s quite aggravating to think someone would be dishonest to get a 7.99 fish!!

My Leo had his first haircut & bath visit at this location, very friendly staff, attention to detail and excellent service. Had best experience comparing to other Petsmart locations. My Leo had his cutest haircut. In fact, my house is 15miles away but when i see the reviews of this location thought of giving it a shot, had a best experience. I recommend this location to all my friends.

!!Do not buy from this pet store!! Sold me and my girlfriend a rat that they said would be friendly. It was not. When I tried to return it they said they would never say that and called me a liar. These people are scam artists.

I was multiple dead fish laying while living fish were swimming around them, I told one of the workers because that’ll affect the rest of the fish. she said she’ll take them out, but did it like nothing and continued with her work. this is unacceptable. This is animal abuse.

Great service by the manager, Leo. He was very knowledgeable about the dog food products that they had for my fog size and breed. We discussed different collars, leashes, chew toys and also the dog training that they offer there. It was a great visit and I'm much appreciative of Leo's assistance and his knowledgeable information he shared with me. Thanks so much.

I've been here a few times. The selection of wet cat food is decent but usually messy and not completely stocked. The low rating is due to management/the company trying to scam me out of money. Common sense is not common here.

Took our dog Porter to the grooming salon, and paid an extra $15 for them to grind his nails. When my husband picked him up, they didn't mention any issues. When he got home, I checked his nails and his front paws weren't done at all. I called and asked, and they said it took 2 people to attempt his nails. I've had them done at the Rock Hill location and never had an issue, but fine. However, they still charged me $15 for the nail grind we obviously didn't receive, and if they had mentioned at pickup about the nail issue, then I wouldn't have paid for the extra service. I did speak with the manager, and he was nice and understanding, but I'm annoyed that I now have to travel back out to Pineville to get a refund when I never should have gotten charged in the first place.

My baby will never go petsmart for grooming again. When finished he looked like a dog that had no home. Cut in patches. Had to do it over when we got home. Take your babies at your own risk. Good luck

Tonight at 7:27 PM I had the greatest experience at this store. The cashier saw that the Cat Food I was purchasing was due to expire in 9 days. I would never have checked this. She went and retrieved another bag with a much later expiry date and finished checking me out. This is the most exemplary customer service I have received lately from anyone, and the cashier deserves the highest recognition from PetSmart.

I brought my puppy Lily in for her first grooming session. She loved it! She was the happiest puppy! And sooo soft! Wish they could've filed her nails after they trimmed them, they were still sharp. Never took a dog to be groomed before so not sure if they do that?🤷♀️

David was very helpful. This being our first time for home aquarium, he explained to us each and every thing in detail. Love his dedication and knowledge. He didn't try to up sale anything to us, which we kind of loved it.

The girls that work here are amazing!! I’ve been coming to this location for years and I only go to this location bc my dog Louie loves coming here to pickup his food with me. You can tell that the girls that work here really love animals. They give Louie a ton of attention and are very helpful if I ever have any questions regarding any products. They even asked where he was tonight when I went to pick up his food. He was bit by another dog at the dog park yesterday and couldn’t come with me but it’s so nice that they cared to ask about him!

We just moved back to Charlotte and we were looking for a new groomer. I made an appointment here not really knowing what to expect. We have a golden doodle that requires extensive grooming. Well Lakesha was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and gave us tips for home maintenance that no one has ever mentioned before. She was very thorough and helped my husband find the correct brush online. She took her time with our doodle and it was obvious she really enjoys her job. We will be back just to see her again.
