This was my first time in this particular store, and I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and extensive product availability for most animals( both large and small).From pet grooming, training, and veterinary needs. This is definitely 1 stop shopping for all of your fur baby's needs. And all of your lizards, birds, and fishes needs.They also have an adoption area for pets.The entire store was pet friendly, with large, well-lit aisles and a plethora of products, for even the most discerning pet owner.The staff members that I spoke with were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and professional.If you have a pet already and/or wish to adopt another one, this is the ideal location.I personally have a large menagerie of animals that I look after. From raccoons, opossums, hummingbirds, feral cats, and anything else that shows up on my patio looking for food.And yes, these are all wild animals that are fed and remain outdoors (for obvious reasons).I find my interactions with all of God's creatures, both therapeutic and calming.If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. If I could go lower I wood. First of all my vet recommended these people for out ShihZue to be groomed. We went on line to schedule. Got appointment for 4.21.24. When we got there a groomer was working on a Maltese. The poor thing was skinned. I saw a few places where she was cut too close. My puppy is 6 months old and all kind of excuses were given as to why they couldn't cut her hair. 1 excuse she is a puppy and may not keep still. 2. She may wiggle when she hears the clippers. 3. She was so good to see if she was training and I had his face is the only thing that would have to be a star 6⁶in

I love this store they always go above and beyond. Their pet section is always well kept and the prices are reasonable. For the selection of food I am always happy because I always score good food at low cost.

Took my dog to get groomed last week and honestly I could've just groomed her myself! First walked in and was not greeted, then finally I was greeted after standing there for 5 minutes. No update when I picked up my dog but was handed a scarf to put on her myself. This location should do better with their customer service! I will go out if my way to go to another location this one is not it.

Customer service was okay, I asked a young lady for a product and she pointed me to the direction of it instead of showing me. So I had to go get a manager and ask him to please show me because his co-worker didn't seem interested in helping really... What I needed there were like a hundred different boxes to choose from, no exaggeration.. Hands on help please and thank you 👌😊

Would not recommend Nelmyn (spell check) for grooming services. I always get my baby (morkie), teddy bear face with no less than 9 cut. She completely ruined my baby look. He doesn’t even look like himself. She cut him so low, he looks like large rat smh. She also wasn’t able to complete his services due to him being “aggressive”. Once I seen him, I knew why he was overly hyper or “aggressive” as she stated. She messed up his cut! Leaving him with no hair! Seems to be a small cut on his front leg as well smh. Little guy weighs no more than 7 lbs. Not sure how aggressive he can be.

The Northlake area PetSmart is where I go to get my dog's haircut every time. Just make an appointment, drop off, and they will call you when he's ready. They always do a great job and the cut comes with a bath. You can also add services like teeth cleaning, nail trim, and other options if you would like. He always come home looking fresh and clean! ✂️🐶🐾

Everything thing you need for your pet. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is always neat and stocked. I even use their pet hospital for my furbaby. They know how important our pets are to us, and they treat them the same way.

Mary Campbell at Petsmart Charlotte North Lake Mall is amazing in every way! From her customer service with humans to the dedication and patience with the fur babies to her extraordinary grooming talent and skill. She makes grooming a Goldendoodle and a Standard Poodle look easy...it's totally not! She makes our experience flawless even if the pups are a little anxious or difficult at times. They demand extra attention and pets after their grooms! And sometimes I think my dogs love Mary a smidge more than me! They go nuts when they see her. She is the best and I am so thankful for her!

0 stars. RUN!!! go to a professional!! My husky was there for hours today, i expected A neatly groomed short hair dog when I got back. I get back and I’m told they couldn’t do his nails, or trim his hair under his paws because he wouldn’t let them? Umm okay i thought This was the GROOMERS, who else is supposed to do it? They bring my dog out and he looks exactly the same as i left him. If they didn’t have time to groom him i wouldve Appreciated honesty. I lost out on almost $100 and my dog that still smells (he was still wet when given to me) i expressed My dissatisfaction with the service to the cashiers up front and they didn’t care at all just said Aw so sorry. No type of hospitality at all, never returning again. BTW had to brush,dry,cut his hair and nails myself when i got Home THANKS for NOTHING.

We enrolled our dog, Heidi in Petsmart classes at the Northlake location. She has attended Beginner, Intermediate, and now she is in Advanced. We are really enjoying working with our trainer, Lily. The class is social for Heidi and also for us as we love talking with the other pet parents and Lily. We are also enjoying interacting with the other Petsmart staff while there. Everyone has been very nice.

This place is horrible to the max! I relocated here and thought this would be my perfect grooming facility but that quickly went to hell after the first visit. The hair cut that I wanted was not given at all( yes it was decent to some point, but not cut to where I needed it to be). I tried to give this place several more tries because this place is very convenient. The next booking i did was for nail grooming and that went ok, only because I was standing there and the girl that attended to my bby was in college and it showed that she really cared for animals. Now while there I booked for a grooming appt. This is where I was rescheduled numerous times. Now the first time or two I’m understandable but every damn time is unacceptable. Each time I ask to speak to a manager they are not there and the person that answers the phone supposedly takes my information down and will give it to a manager (which never happens). Well, this last time, I called when I realized my appt was at 8 and not 9 and asked if I could bring my bby in (at this time it’s 8:09am) kaci who I spoke with put me on hold (before that kaci said they have a 15 min grace period- which I could’ve made it being I stay right across the st) and went checked and when Kaci got back on the phone it was then 8:37am and I was told I have to reschedule. I told Kaci my last few appts have been rescheduled by your facility and I have been accommodating with y’all and this is how y’all treat loyal customers. I requested a call back from a manager and no I did not receive a call at all. If you can go any where else for grooming, don’t go here, especially if u are new in town!!!

I've been taking my furball son to this location since he was a puppy. This experience was the worst and it was due to the day shift staff. I never seen any of those ladies before but they provided no service at all whatsoever to my dog. When I picked him up he still smelled coat didn't shine, he wasn't soft, they couldn't even brush his teeth. They were identifying my baby as the "aggressive dog" and did not even call him by name. They were spraying him as he was coming to me. I was in disbelief I have everyone loves my baby I he never wants to leave but that time he ran from them. They were talking about other customers in front of the customers there. The professional was disheartening. Every time I go there it's the best staff so loving to every pet that comes in the door. I wasted my money and had to make another appointment at another location.

this particular PetSmart is my fave. They are normally so clean, and the ladies who work the register are kind and patient. when you have a puppy all anxious and a 2 year old being playful it can be hard. But they were so kind and let me take my time. I wish I knew their names so I could give them praise. Also, if you are a Stranger Things fan, they have goodies for the animals in your life. Mine were for my pitty.

Everything was really easy to find even for a new rescue dad like myself. They carry all the vet recommended food for all specific diets. The staff was so excited to answer any questions I had even what size harness diesel needed!

I had 2 go get the Furbabies their favorite dog food that I usually add 2 their dry food. I usually buy "FreshPet," but am finding out how they truly luv the nu line of FreshPet called Vital, which has beef n bison along wth spinach, cranberries n blueberries n it, it's definitely a hit wth them! They're quick 2 let u know if they don't like somethin..this brand also carries the multi-protein recipe that consist of chikn, beef, chikn livers, salmon n eggs n it..both r excellent n mixing wth their dry dog food. It's a lil pricey, but soooo worth it!! 🤗😁💯👍🏿👍🏿

I took Teddy for a bath and cut. I received a call telling me later that his cost would be surprisingly $150.00. I was advised by a 2nd caller that Teddy was tuckered and fell out on the table from the cut. I was told he was stressed. Since when??? I advised the rep that I would be there to pay & pick Teddy up at 5::30. I arrived to pay and pick Teddy up. Teddy was partially cut. I was advised to bring him back the next day for the groomer to finish. My son returned the next day with Teddy for his cut to be completed, and he was advised the groomer was not coming in and to bring him back on Thursday. We were leaving the country as a family and advised the grooming manager of that. She asked that we come back a 3rd time. I said we have things to do and we are leaving the country for some time. You weren't being paid to have us running back & and forth, hoping for service. They didn't take our money either time because they never finished cutting Teddy. They kept giving us the run around. Poor customer service!!! Teddy had a face full of hair. His face was filthy, and he had long pieces of hair all over his body. His ears were cut VERY BADLY and developed sores! They shaved a lot of his hair off and skinned him in some places. He looked horrible, and was not groomed by a professional. I was asked if I could pay for his cut during one call by the M.I.A. groomer. Was I asked that in that fashion because I was not white? My son & i were given the run around 3 times to include the on duty grooming manager. I was even willing to pay for the partial, botched job. They failed me, and they knew it. The original appointment was on Saturday. I received a call switching the appointment to Sunday, on Saturday. Just before leaving home on Sunday am, I received a call to reschedule again, this time for Monday. This was terrible & Teddy looked like he had a hairy lamp shade on, ruined my travel portraits. Petsmart, let us down!!!!!! Not to mention price gouging!!!!! I'd been a good and faithful patron for many years! This was shameful!

The day of my dogs appointment Im headed to the appointment and due to traffic I knew I would be late. When I arrived they informed me that they had a power outage and the groomer was busy in the back give him 5 minutes. However, I had to leave right back out the pet smart grooming place due to a minor emergency. A couple things I did like was the groomer Mykil called and explained to me what was going on an stated I could bring my dog back in later that day. Very professional and he explained to me the importance of coming in more often. I decided to take my dog back up to the Pet Smart and another lady waited on me who I did not get her name and stated they would be able to get him in. Picked up my dog and he was so cute and I loved how they cut, grinded the nails and ensured he had a cute bandana. The FURminator really helped the shedding too! Great job Mykal and Pet Smart staff!

My little paw loves to go to petsmart. He get his grooming there and also get all his food and toys...They are friendly.
