The people here are friendly and helpful. I had to switch my dogs food due to a recall and they helped me pick out the perfect replacement food. Too bad you can only get it here and not other pet stores, which makes it slightly inconvenient but I don’t live far which is a plus.They also have a really good selection of dog toys, treats and accessories.

NEVER HAD I EVERRRRR HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH BUYING PET SUPPLIES!!!! I walk in today to ask the girl with the piercing on her face, and about a simple small tank for my son cause he had a pet turtle and he just needed something that had a lid on it. THIS UNHELPFUL GIRL. Starts to go on about how it was illegal to have a pet turtle. WHICH YOU CAN OWN LESS THAN 5! THAN PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THAT THEY GET TO BIG FOR SMALL TANKS LIKE DUHHHHHHHH WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS WHEN I DID NOT ASKKKKKKK????? So I was like forget it I’ll get a beta fish. SAMMME GIRL ASKED if we had a tank set up…. I said no she starts say they got a 7day policy blah blah GIRL ITS A 10$ fish!!!!!! TEN FREAKING DOLLARS. I’ve had plenty of fish that didn’t require THIS AMOUNT OF TROUBLE! She a terrible employee like stick to what’s asked don’t lecture me. Ended up walking out cause her attitude SUCKKKKKKKEEDDDDDDDD she sucks. I don’t recommend her help at alllllll.

I scheduled a 1:00 appointment to use the dog washing station at 0900 in the morning , when I arrived I was told that they do not have any towels available. Complete waste of my time.

Really shouldn't be selling anything living. They house males and females together. Someone I know bought a pair of guineas thinking they were the same gender and when they found out they were opposite genders they tried to return them a week later and they refused to take the animals back. Dozens of dead fish-not like 5 or 6. It wasn't very clean and even though there were about 5 people working no one asked if we needed help. The treat bar was cute though

Staff is always nice and helpful! I usually come here every other week to utilize the self-service dog wash stations for our family dog. Oh, and don’t worry about forgetting shampoo/conditioner because they have a few products on deck you can use without an extra charge (washes are about $10 btw)!

I took my little furball to the groomer here at the Pet Supermarket for her first groom and I’m sooooo happy I did! My puppy gets carsick so she already came soaked to the appointment :( the groomer was wonderful about it though and reassured me it was okay (I felt horrible about it) and did such a great job! More than half of her hair was chopped to get to this desired length, so I know it took work!I don’t have before photos as my little one looked more like a mop than a puppy. She loves having shorter hair! And I’m so happy with this service!! (For the photo, yes she sits weird lol)

Great pet store — we go for the bathing station. There are three stalls where you can bathe your pet — the store provides shampoo/conditioner options and clean towels. It is so convenient! The team is hire friendly. Our dogs loves to go “shopping” after the bath to pick out a treat, too!

Super helpful and knowledgeable staff was able to help me find the right option for my dogs dietary needs within my budget. If you have a pet with food allergies, this place is a great option! Also, all of the animals for sale in the store looked very well cared for and healthy unlike at other pet stores.

I was looking at an adorable guinea pig that was available for adoption yesterday. I could not tell the gender because the guinea pig was moving really fast. An associate was adding some product to the habitat and I asked them if they knew the gender of the guinea pig. The associate responded with “I can’t tell you the gender because we actually aren’t allowed to tell the gender of the animals to customers”. They also proceeded to say “I’m not sure what the gender is anyways”. This to me is odd in a pet store. Not only should associates know basic things like being able to distinguish male versus female pets, but claiming that the genders cannot be told is very strange. I will not support a pet store that refuses to tell the gender of a pet for adoption. This to me is funny, unacceptable business. Refusing to inform customers the gender of adoptable pets can lead to some serious problems for customers only looking for males or females (in my case, male or spayed female). I will not shop in a pet store that has funny business like this. In addition, the small pet products are overpriced compared to other pet stores or Amazon. Don’t shop for small pet products here.

Friendly staff. You can hold & pet the small critters (guinea pigs/buns/ferrets/mice) without asking for assistance or permission as long as it's not locked. My lil piggy is friendly & healthy.

I bought a fish on Thursday and on Tuesday night it was dead. Policy requires the fish and a sample of the water for a refund. I returned it with the water and because it had the dead fish in it they said the water was not able to be tested. I completely do not recommend buying fish from this store. Customer service was a crock

Pathetic return policy. You have to have a VIP account to get your money back, otherwise they’ll only give you store credit. No one is “authorized” to override the system. Don’t bother calling the customer service line like they suggest in all of their responses to their bad business. You’ll be put on hold and told repeatedly that you are first in line. They basically just stole over $70 from me.

I had my son's dog for a week and needed to get some food. After some play at Freedom Park I really needed to get him cleaned and groomed. The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating! They took excellent care of Bentley! Ashley did a fantastic job and I felt as if Bentley had come out of a world-class Spa when she was done. Brittany and Kaitlyn were also very friendly and accommodating while we were there and everyone seemed to enjoy having us in the store. I was very nervous bringing my son's 7 month old puppy in but they took excellent care of us ! I highly recommend Pet Supermarket!

We went for our dogs 1st birthday to pick out toys and a tasty bone as we always do for our dogs birthdays. He had a good time and loved everyone at the store! It is always nice when staff want to cuddle and pet your dog. Everyone was very friendly and I know he left the store happy and full of treats. We will definitely be back anytime we need a new toy.

I came in to grab some food forour new puppy the other day, and was greeted by a short lady with dark brown/black hair. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. She was kind enough to greet me even though she was ringing out another person, so many other people would of just ignored me.In the store as I was looking I was helped by Kellie, who was very kind and knowledgeable about food. She helped us choose the right food to fit our budget, that when I went home and looked it up was just as good as she said. She seemed to actually care about what I said I wanted, and how much I could afford and went through many options with me. You just don’t get customer service like that anymore. She even offered free training advise, I will be coming back.

The store itself is ok. Selection is good. The staff is polite. However, I have noticed that Pet Supermarket does not educate the staff about the animals they sell. This is my 3rd time buying animals there. The first 2 times was in Florida and then this time. Each time I had to Google to get details on determining the sex of the animals being purchased and the way to care for them. There was 1 gentleman who tried to assist us with that but I knew it was based on his personal knowledge and not education he received from the company. However, overall it was a pleasant experience and the staff is courteous, patient and polite.

I stopped by here for my 5year old son because we were looking to purchase a small pet . We were greeted right away by Christine (worker in training).First thing I noticed , why was this young lady in the front assisting customers with no one else in sight? We were there for a good 10minutes before I saw someone else come up to the front . This is a pretty large pet store for a worker in training to be left to assist multiple customers at once, although Christine handled it well and with a smile .What I didn’t enjoy about this location was finally meeting the assistant manager Kelly and not receiving any customer service at all. She didn’t greet us with a smile , she didn’t address me , she just slowly walked around with her pen and paper watching us like we were a foreign species, maybe my kind didn’t belong in this store ? That how I felt . I finally decided to walk up to Kelly and ask her if that was all the pets they currently had, and with no hesitation at all she said “yes” , nothing more. Just Yes . No, unfortunately yes , but we will be getting more . No , is there something else I can help you with , just yes. I expect this from a regular sales associate but not from management. Now , before you say hey maybe she was busy , no she wasn’t because she happily assisted her other customers that didn’t look like me.The only reason I am giving this location more than one star is because of the sales associate in training . Christine greeted each customer that came in the door and asked each customer if they needed any assistance. Maybe Kelly should be the one in training.

i had just lost my precious ferret whom ive had for 5 years and went looking for a baby to heal my heart.there is a special kind of person who works at this petstore. shes got a huge heart and helped me immensely. Britnie was her name. she helped me with everything i needed. what a wonderful staff they have at this place especially that young woman. i adored her. i am going to be buying more supplies from this location.and to the person that hired that young woman, you chose a good one.edit:just saw she is the store manager. i am not surprised. you’re a wonderful person Britnie your customer service is out of this world. thank-you.

These guys throw out some nice coupon deals if you are on the mailing list. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to come help. The majority of the staff has been there a while too which helps create a good relationship when they remember my name and such. Nice folks all around. Go give them a shot.

*Edited*I came to this store yesterday afternoon to adopt "Lenny". The staff was not polite at all and stood around glaring at my daughter and I from the time we entered until we left. I glared back, waiting for one of the five associates standing around the registers not doing ANY work to speak. They never did, only whispered among themselves and looking in what seemed to be disapproval. The employee who assisted me was apprehensive and slow about getting "Lenny's" paperwork together before I finally sped her along. She had a very snooty attitude, the employees looked as though they had never seen a black woman, black child, with muddy clothes on a rainy day. We had just come from playing outside. I despise people who think it is socially acceptable to show their opinions, prejudices, pettiness, insecurities, or what have you on the job that they are being paid to perform. Your opinions and hang ups are your business, do not project them. Speak, do not stare, and do not ever think that because a customer enters with brown skin that your level of service can be reduced or that you will subject us to sub-par service whether you all did so consciously or subconsciously. I could give a damn how you feel, just do your job...well. I suggested that the other cat people in my life looking for kitties, search elsewhere since they too....are brown. You have no business treating people according to what you think of them.

Very poor customer service, there’s only one person to help when other employees are standing around talking doing nothing. Me and my husband came to get about 8 koi and gold fish there was one person helping another customer but we were not greeted or helped when my husband called on someone they asked him to wait and so we waited until we were tired of just looking around after a good 17 minutes we decided to leave and we realized that there were other employees just standing and making jokes and laughing away I’m pretty sure this store will go out of business soon if this is how they handle customers, I have many friends that go here to buy pet food and will be happy to share my experience with them. It’s sad to see that they have hired ignorant inexperienced employees to sell their products. Will never go to this place my money is worth spent in a place where the customer is treated and greeted.
