The dessert creations are massive here. There’s limitless combinations to let your imagination run wild. On the weekend, parking can be a little crazy but we found a good spot in time. This place is a little tucked back in the corner of the plaza so you might miss it if you’re not looking closely.Depending on what you get, it can be pricey but the vibes and staff make up for that. The floor could use a good sweeping but otherwise, I see what the hype is about.

Amazing desserts available here. Had their Brookie monster, the best amalgamation of cookie, ice cream and brownie! We can choose our own flavour of ice cream, toppings and syrup, we went with hot fudge and it turned out to be delicious! Customer service is good and fast too.Highly recommend to try out their dessert!

I like visiting this place, but I've noticed that the items, especially the milkshakes, don't resemble the pictures. Despite being charged for an edible rim, I only received a milkshake in a clear cup. I agree with some other comments about the price being $10, yet the product doesn't match the image on the menu board. This is the second time it's happened, and there's been no explanation provided. While it was pleasant, I don't plan on coming back. I'll stick with Chick-fil-A instead.

I got the Brookie Monster and it was delicious! The brownie was so soft. I don’t think the ice cream is house made but still good regardless.

There’s a lot of variety on the menu. I almost got a smoothie which looked amazing but stuck with a brownie & ice cream. This is a decent size & you can share if you choose. I love the mall morals. Paying homage to the best decade ever!

My family loved this place. Such a cute 90s place. They have delicious desserts. Staff has been friendly each time we have gone. And after you get your order you can walk down outside and over to the mini boardwalk.

This is a fun little ice cream shop that letters you have it your way. They offer great big gooey cookies, shakes, floats and some of the best I've cream sandwiches made with donuts. Walk in, place your order and then they'll deliver it to your seat or you can wait for them to hand it to you.They also offer some delicious sandwiches during the day. They do close the sandwich counter before they close down the Ice cream area so plan on getting there before 5:00 pm if you want a sandwich.

CHECK YOUR ORDERWe drove a long distance just to try this establishment…….I was not provided what I paid for…… I notified the company that my order was WRONG. They responded that they were not able to provide a refund.I paid extra for items that I did not receive.I did not request anything special on the Bischoff Latte and it was not made per the menu. The Biscoff latte is a regular item; therefore should be a super easy request?Shabooya Brownie Milkshake - I added items that was offered on the menu the included a up charge and I did not receive it.Based on the response from me notifying them the order was incorrect…… they decided I should accept whatever they give me?WARNING…..:::If you are ok with not getting what you ask for then visit this place. If you want what you pay for go somewhere else

Cool ice cream shop located at the boardwalk in the University area of Charlotte. Several options for ice cream, shakes, and smoothies.1. The milkshakes are just ok. They include plenty of toppings but I've enjoyed shakes for regular restaurants just as much.2. Very reasonable prices.3. My kids loved the ice cream.4. Really cool and original 90's theme.I would definitely suggest everyone to try it out for themselves. It's worth the stop.

The Nineties is a must-try. They serve some of the best ice creams in Charlotte, North Carolina. Such a cool ole fashioned ice cream shop. Cool art and atmosphere. Unfortunately the bar inside was closed due to covid so there was nowhere to go but outside. My date had the cookie 🍨 sundae and it was phenomenal.

Cute lil ice cream shop at the boardwalk by the lake. Great place to stop in after lunch or dinner at one of the surrounding restaurants, grab a cone and snag a bench at the lake for some nice relaxing time. It can be a wee bit expensive but that’s ok, I think it’s worth it.. ice cream is delicious and they have some great flavors. I tried the graham cracker crunch…graham flavored cream, graham swirls and chocolate covered graham pieces. So so so good.

This had been on my list for a long time, ever since they were first featured by Charlotte Agenda. I finally got to try it and I can't wait to go back now.We got the St. Pat's Day Lucky Charms macaron ice cream sandwich and the strawberry shortcake yum-ee bun. The ice cream sandwich macaron was amazing. Everything about it was perfect. The cereal in the outside added good flavor to the ice cream, the macaron was delicious, and the sauce was the perfect complement. It was huge, so I had to bite the top and bottom halves separately. The yum-ee bun was good, but it felt like the portions were off. Most bites all I tasted was strawberry ice cream, which was disappointing. They said this was their most popular item which surprised me because I thoughtthe macaron was better.They also make cereal milkshakes and cookie dough pops which I would love to come back and try.I definitely think this place is worth driving up to the University to try out! I will be day dreaming of their delicious desserts.

If you have a sweet tooth this is definitely the place for you! I got the Shabooya Brownie Milkshake and it was awesome (wouldn't recommend the cookie rim though bc it sticks w/icing)! The shop is small and ordering is straightforward. Pick out your favorite 90s cartoon characters while you wait for your dessert too if you have the chance!

I absolutely love Ninetys Mangonada drink, i come here specifically for it. Their ice cream looks so good i wish they had non dairy options so I could eat it, that's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars... Their line is always out the door so i know they're good lol

I'm not from North Carolina, but both times I've visited Charlotte I've stopped at Ninety's. A friend from NC hyped it up in a big way, and he delivered on his promise in a big way. What a place. For my first time I had a Fruity Pebbles Macaron Sandwich. My second time, I had a Cookies and Cream cookie sandwich, a warm cookie with cookies and cream filling. Both were incredible. Surprisingly not as sweet as I thought they'd be, and surprisingly not as filling as I thought (in a good way). Can't wait for my next trip to NC.Worth going significantly out of your way for. I can confidently say I've never been to an ice cream place like Ninety's.

The place was clean & the ice cream yummy. I had a scoop of the cookies and cream and my friend had the Magical Unicorn. It was expensive (almost $9) but it really made her happy with the white chocolate horn and marshmallow ears. Hers had real strawberries in it as well as the cotton candy flavor.

Warm brownie with a generous scoop of Moose tracks ice cream, sprinkled with oreo crumbles and topped with a drizzle of chocolate syrup. The line moved so quickly that I wasn't quite ready to order when it was my turn. Took me longer to decide on my flavor, topping and drizzle than it did to eat it. Definitely worth checking out!

Ninetys has great ice cream treats like the below milkshakes and a very cool inside theme. They are right on the "boardwalk" which is a great area to walk around and enjoy your treat

Fun milkshake shop. Lots of combinations and yummy choices. The place was out the door packed when we went, but they have a good system and good flow. We didn't wait nearly as long as we thought we would. Definitely would go back if in the area again.

Pretty good if your looking for a sweet treat near campus. They offer student deals and variety of options. I think the cap n crunch is the best. Saw this place on tiktok knew I had to try it
