Great store to browse for furniture and home decorating ideas, have some Nordic cuisine and hang out. Great deals available if you come here frequently and there's always something useful to buy. Great customer service but you have to be used to picking up your own boxes from the warehouse at the end of the line. Yes, you can browse and order from ikea to have the furniture shipped to you but it's worth the visit.

Absolutely love IKEA! The products are great and the prices are too. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because you are forced to walk the entire store to get to the checkout and there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning on, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. If the temperature has been better, I would have shopped longer and spent more money.

The absolute worst customer service ever how can you walk through an entire downstairs area and not see one person that works there? They literally have on bright yellow or blue shirts, invest, and yet you can’t find anybody like is the job to go hide because it’s a big warehouse. I wasted all of my time coming down there to find something only to walk through the entire area and not be able to find anyone to help me find it. There’s more people outside working there’s more people at the cash registers working then on the actual floor where people need help. You see people lined up at the screens looking for stuff in LLC. Oh the item is in this area, but where is the area?

I’m glad I finally got the Swedish retail experience that is IKEA. It was interesting to walk through all the displays (emphasis on walk). This place is massive! I did not purchase any items from the store. Most of it seemed of poor quality. However, the prices were reflective of that. Most things seemed pretty affordable. I of course had to order the Swedish meatballs, which were yummy.

I actually love coming in here! There’s plenty of parking, plenty of products with a wide variety and very wheelchair friendly! I absolutely love their cafeteria! Their Swedish meatballs are a MUST try! This store has an amazing selection with a wide variety of pretty much everything! They also have little spaces that show you ideas and you can actually see if something works for you or not! I highly recommend coming to this store at least once!

This place is beyond incredible and is entertaining to anyone no matter the age. The people who work here are more than professional and will be willing to help you with any of your needs. The furniture which they sell is priced low so that you can get good lasting quality for less of a price. And they even have a restaurant? What more could you possible ask for?

I enjoy spending time in Ikea. They have so much to offer and normally have plenty of inventory; however, the past two visits (I live 35 miles away) they did not have two major items I was looking for. Regardless, the staff is always friendly, and I found plenty of other things to make the trip worthwhile. I was buying the last couch they had listed in inventory for a specific model. The employee ensured their inventory was correct before I paid, so there wouldn't be any surprises. Thanks for taking care of me and going beyond to ensure my time would be valued. Thank you 😊

The wife, the daughter and I made the trip to IKEA. Like most times we've been there, it was quite busy. But somehow, someway there always seems to be parking available.3 dressers, numerous baskets, cupboard organizers, stuffed animals and 10 jars later we made our way to checkout. It was quite the wait but it was a Saturday. Once we were up there and scanning items, it went pretty quickly.Our only hiccup this time around was two of the dressers were not in the aisles. They were labeled as available at the store about finding them was a task. After giving up we seek assistance. These particular dressers were in the back and could only be purchased with the assistance of an employee. We were given a paper to scan, so we could pay for them and then we needed to head to pick up.An estimated 20 minute wait was only about 5 minutes after I put everything else in the car.

We absolutely love this store and we try to visit every time we're in town. I really can't wait until the day cares open backup again, because that's my kid's favorite part, so there's really not much for them to do while I shop. The selection of products is always over the top great. We ate at the restaurant, as we usually do and I was a bit disappointed this time, the soda machines were completely down all they had was water and diet soda which tasted awful because it seemed like there was something wrong with that machine too. I really wish they had more signage explaining that they do not offer bags because it's not something that people automatically know and it would be nice to know before I pay, then I have to go back and buy bags. The clearance items were an extra fun surprise I was able to get pillow covers from my entire dining room at 1.99 each which was awesome!

You can spend all day in Ikea and don’t get bored. So many ideas and products to furnish and decorate your home, dorm, office or whatever it is you want to decorate and furnish. Living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office furniture and appliances are good quality, beautiful and sleek designs. At Ikea you can find everything you need and at very competitive prices. When visiting Ikea you must try their Swedish meatballs, Salmon or the Vegetable meatballs those three dishes are pretty much their staple dishes but you can really eat anything on their very affordable menu and you won’t be disappointed. I recommend visiting during weekdays but if you go on a weekend try to go in the morning so it won’t be too crowded. Plenty of parking. Lots of staff members to assist in case you need help. Ikea should seriously think of opening a store in the Triangle area since the “closest” ones for us is Charlotte or Maryland

Always enjoy a visit to IKEA. However, the 5 times we have been in this store, they don’t have the items we end up liking.If you are driving a long way (even if ur local too) I recommend searching online for the item you want and checking availability before visiting the store.

I generally like shopping at IKEA for household furniture and don’t usually expect top-notch service or anything extraordinary.However, my last visit left me a bit disappointed due to the checkout process. I spent around 10 minutes picking out what I needed, but when I got to the checkout, I was stuck in line for over half an hour. There were massive lines, and surprisingly, only one cashier was open along with just two self-service checkouts in operation.Given the usual crowd at IKEA, it seems they could really improve the shopping experience by staffing more cashiers, especially during busy times, to reduce the waiting period.While I appreciate IKEA for their range of products and generally reasonable prices, the long wait at checkout was a letdown and something I hope they address soon.

A week or two ago, I had an issue with an order I had placed for pickup at this store. One of the local co-workers, Elena, spent more than half an hour with me on the phone, patiently discovering what had gone wrong with my online order, correcting it, and ensuring I could get the product I wanted the same day … all while maintaining a friendly and helpful tone despite what I’m sure was an exasperating experience for us both. I’m so appreciative for her help; it really made my day, and I’m sure I’ll be back to shop here again because of the excellent customer service they provide!

Such a disappointing experience after not visiting this store for several months. This store has really gone downhill. The store is messy and the prices have gone up significantly. The cafeteria was horrible. I FOUND A LONG, BLACK HAIR IN MY SALAD, UGH! It grossed me out so much that I felt sick. The desserts were old, the coffee was empty and the selections were sparse. This used to be one of my favorite places to go to shop and have lunch and dessert but that will not be happening again anytime soon.

Definitely has great options for those starting out, or on a budget.The cafeteria has some tasty food, so make a stop if you are hungry. $They even have a kid zone where you can drop off your children to play while you shop. Kids zone has arts and crafts. Your Kids must be potty trained to take advantage of this service.

This is a 5-star place, but I give it 4 because it is so ridiculously busy all day every day and every time I go to check out there are at least 5-10 unopened registers. So the final huge hassle to get out should be avoided with some additional staff. The weekdays are of course much less busy. On the good notes- it’s got all you cheap IKEA stuff you love and of course the super yummy lunch. We would go just for lunch all the time and that part rocks with the one exception that to get out from lunch you have to walk through the entire downstairs unless you can sneak through the stroller door!

Ikea is a great place for an impromptu family day trip. Beyond a furniture store or even a showroom, Ikea allows its customers to experience the inspiration that comes from simple, clean, and thoughtful design.My children, now in primary school, felt invited and at home in its spaces. This led to an inclusive experience where they weren't bored or looking for an exit door. At any point that a bathroom or meal was needed, it was easy to get to as there is an excess of maps to lead the way. The staff is always nearby but mostly out of sight, and there is always zero pressure to buy anything.The store itself has improved in several areas over the years, increasing ease of navigation. However, I would never recommend walking into an Ikea to quickly grab something as the store is not designed for that kind of traffic.

This place was so cool. It sounds funny but I actually came here as part of a bucket list thing while I was on vacation and I loved it. There is an escalator at the front door that you can take and elevators too if you have difficulty climbing stairs. The store is clean, the cashiers are respectful, and the restaurant area is very nice. I would visit again!

I love IKEA in Charlotte! I live over an hour away and I happily make the drive several times a year (or month). I enjoy shopping here for anything they are selling lol, but seriously they have so much cool stuff! They also have a restaurant with meals and a café that sells smaller snacks, so you can shop for your home and eat here too.
