I LOVE this Hobby Lobby… best one in Charlotte if ya ask me… always INSANE SALES, WELL STOCKED, super friendly and helpful employee, things you’d never expect to find there, perfect place to grab a bunch of gifts 🎁 and MOST IMPORTANTLY (for me hehe) the absolute BEST yarn QUALITY. AND SELECTION of all the craft stores!!!I make rugs as a hobby and these are some that I’ve made— along with pictures of their yarn selection— top tier quality for sure and great prices (plus all yarn goes on sale every other week-ish) 🤩

The store is always clean and a great selection of all kinds of craft items. I visit this location frequently, and they never have enough cashier's. A customer had a return, and there were three employees telling her why she could not get her money back as a long line of customers waited to be checked out. Finally, more employees came to assist, but you should not have to wait in line for over 10 minutes for a pack of glue sticks when employees are available and should be assisting the other customers. Management needs to be more customer focused.

Don't get me wrong I normally love hobby lobby but I just had the worst experience. You have two registers open with both lines completely backed up. Finally you call for other cashier's to come and no one arrives. When they finally do they pull the people in front of me(totally understandable) and then the people behind me. Now I'm stuck at a register where the cashier apparently couldn't find the price. I'm guessing she was the manager on duty casual walks over and then takes forever to find it in the system. When I finally get to the cashier I'm not greeted or anything. She hands me my receipt with a hear ya go.You could at least say how are you, did you find everything you needed or even a sorry for the wait. If you can't be courteous to your shoppers don't be a cashier.

I love Hobby Lobby! They have great home items from picture frames, flowers, props, religious items and crafts. Hobby Lobby always has a sale. Everything is reasonable priced.

The store is great for hobbyists and people that are decorating their own home.The hobbies that are serviced by the store is myriad. The stores serve hobby goods for building die-cast models, train track building, miniature modeling, painting, scientific experiments, coin collecting, paper plane modeling, knitting, and a lot more. It is not about just painting but a lot more less known hobbies are also covered. The store also have variety of qualities, from Chinese cheap quality goods to Japanese expensive but good quality products.Decorations are also available. Some of them have Christian themes, but they also have decorations with neutral themes.Parking space is good and available in great number. Place is well staffed, with friendly and helpful staffs. The store have good quantity and good quality of staff and associates.

If I could give this store a 0 I would. The lack of accountability or knowledge about store processes and procedures is baffling to me. On 02/02/23, I came into this store to have two prints matted and framed. I brought in my own previously purchased frames. I was told that my prints would be ready around noon. I called in at noon and I was told they were not ready. I called two more times up until 5:30pm when I was initially told that my prints were not there, then I was told that the mats that I had picked out were not there. I spoke to the store manager, Damian who advised that immediately after I left they fired the young lady in framing. He stated that he asked if there were any projects that were pending to be completed and the store manager directed staff elsewhere. Fast forward, the mats that I picked out, I’m assuming was sold as the young lady did not pull them from the shelf. I was told they would reach out to another store to find the mats in which they were able to get them from the Matthews store. 02/03/23 at 9am, I received a call that my prints were somehow damaged and that they could try and fix it (tape was placed on the front of the front of the picture and someone who had black ink on their fingers touched the front of the image and damaged it). I came in and they tried to wipe off the tape residue and ink print but it further damaged the print. I was told that they would have to file a claim, BUT could not tell me what the turnaround time or the process was.I left the store and I went to have my images reprinted by UPS. I brought the images back to the store on 02/03/23 at 5:52pm. It is now 8:20pm and I’m standing in a closed store. We went from my images being ruined to the glass/plastic in my frame being damaged.The store manager Robert, didn’t seem to care much from what I gathered as he pretty much dismissed the manager and stated he was not in a place to take a call; although he had literally just hung up with her.I was supposed to be out of town at this moment as these prints were for my mom who reside 4 hours away. Not only did this fiasco derailed my trip; however it costed me time and money.While I stood in his store after closing with my 3year old in tow- Robert sat at home or at dinner with his family with 0 regard for me being away from my own.I am utterly disgusted and disappointed with the service by him as he is the store manager. The staff inside were very apologetic and were baffled at YET ANOTHER issue that I’ve experienced with framing.Robert, maybe it would be good practice to make sure you are aware of what all needs to be completed in a department before letting someone go- or at least put someone in place to assist in the interim.Update: I spoke to the store manager and he was very apologetic and there seemed to be a disconnect between what was communicated to him and to me while I was in the store. My prints were damaged and I had to order new ones. They did fix the issue with the damaged frame and upgraded the glass; however MY CLAIM IS STILL OPEN and there has been very little movement!

I absolutely love this store and the staff are professional! Kudos to their leadership! Most places here in Charlotte are lazy and unprofessional. Not the experience at Hobby Lobby. I love it!

I was in the store at 4pm-ish on a Monday. The lines were long, cashiers hurriedly got off registers and didnt bother to help get the lines down me and several people walked out. That day no one valued our time as customers. Store was clean thou. Planning a church event. Doing photos for the kids

Always have what I need. Discount coupon is available every week. They carry most of my happy planner supplies. Prices are great! Now closed on Sundays though...bummer.

I have gone here for years with my wife but never really looked around. She would come here frequently and praise it, but I was always not interested or hung around at the doorway. This last time was different. I walled around with purpose and was amazed by the variety. Things other big boxes didn't carry and a selection too. Glad I changed my mind as I see many Christmas gifts coming from here on my horizon.

The store employees are very argumentative. I see why, the manager is the same as well!I was purchasing simple items. Above the sign shown 40% off. I tell the checkout person and she immediately says it's not this item.1st how would you know without looking at the display. She calls another cashier to confirm she's right. Again another person who concurs with her adds you have to spend 4.99.I ask for manager who was near he says thats correct. I say you should move the sign he retorts no we shouldn't. Where is CUSTOMER SERVICE. IDC About the pricing so much as tone, dismissive and just rude attitude 😤. Geesh what happened to I'm sorry. It works for me opposed to arguing with how wrong I was!

Waited in line over 20 minutes while only one customer was waited on. AND NO, SHE ONLY HAD A FEW ITEMS. When asked how my day was I said not the best waited a while in line. So the cashier says, we are shirt staffed. It had nothing to do with being shirt staffed. She was just working at her pace and the line meant nothing to her. I will not be back!

Have to change my score from 5 to 1. Was overcharged for paper even though I told the checker it was on sale when I bought it. Trying to get my refund after the fact...HORRID! The employees did not want to refund because I did not bring the paper back. I bought the paper to use it, so I did. My receipt shows it was paper and for them to hassle me and make me feel like I was stealing...unwarranted. Also, the lines in this store are always horrible.

The main reason for going to the store was to get Christmas Ornaments but I ended up changing my theme all together based on the wide selection of merchandise I saw. I am going to purchase an additional tree to decorate for my grandkids and so I can use ornaments and decorations from previous years in that second tree but will use what I purchased yesterday solely on my primary 8 feet tree. I typically put my tree up next month but Hobby Lobby has sparked me to decorate a month earlier. For all your Christmas needs go to Hobby Lobby
