I've been in the area for a few weeks now and I remember how much I love the Harris Teeter deli and in particular their sub sandwiches.I took some folks over with me and they did nothing but rave about how fantastic there sandwiches were.Finally, I took the time and got a membership card.Jade was working at customer service, I believe she's the Assistant manager. Absolutely fantastic customer service experience. Bright, professional, personable and a genuinely nice person.The store is absolutely immaculate and gleaming. The selections available are second to none. Everything is brightly lit, with widely spaced aisles. The restrooms were spotless as well. All is handicap accessible and if you have a need for assistance, just ask.There's even designated parking spaces for veterans.Highly recommend this grocery store for all of the above aforementioned reasons as well as far too many others to even list.If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. I typically use the express lane because I'm handicapped. It works very well. Ever since they updated the app it works very well. There's this one young lady in particular. That is really good at getting out the groceries on time.

Only complaint is they don't always have enough registers open (Plenty of self check out but only one with individuals to check you out)! Besides that, always enjoy my visit! Is always clean and the associates are very friendly and helpful!

Good store, poorly trained cashiersThe store itself has good choices of the fresh produce, deli, meats, all the basic household items and pharmacy to be a decent one-stop-shop. The employees on the floor those who replenish the displays and employees at the deli/salads departments are exceptionally nice, and they have helped me on a few occasions. This sounds like a dream of a store, right? The fairytale ends right when you come to the cashier’s register. I was offended by the cashiers in this store twice. The first time the young lady at the register was making a small talk with the customers, and the checkout line was moving really slow and grew longer and longer. When it was my turn, the cashier went through my purchases and completely stopped the checkout process when she came across a salad. For a good few minutes, she was making faces showing her disgust and commenting to me that she would not eat such a salad. It was truly an unpleasant experience. Today, two different employees at the cashier’s register started commenting on my dairy choices, making faces and commenting that they would not eat this product. You know what, what’s wrong with you, people??? Is it really beyond your comprehension to understand that this I and the other Customers like me who put food on YOUR table? You treat me nastily, and I will make my grocery shopping elsewhere. This is astonishing to me that people think they can get away with such a behavior at their place of employment. No, I don’t think they should be fired. I think that the Management in this Harris Teeter location needs to boost the corporate culture and TRAIN their employees again and again what’s appropriate to say to the Customers, and what’s not. Do you hear, Management? Intentionally or not, but your cashiers sabotage your whole team's hard work. For now, if I cannot avoid shopping at this Harris Teeter location altogether, I will try to go to the self-check-out lines.

They only have baskets like 1/10th of the times I come here. Subpar Harris teeter in general. Also for the past two weeks, they’ve had a self checkout machine that says “payment not processed” when it actually is charging your card causing customers to get multiple charges on orders. They still have not fixed, shut down, or closed the machine that is having this issue

I used the order pickup option earlier this week and received notification the order was ready. I sent notice that I was there and waited and waited. After 15 minutes, I went into the store to get my groceries. There was no apology or justifications offered as to why no one was actually helping with the pick up. I was told by a manager that someone would be right out. That was not true as the young woman was too busy making time with the guy bringing in carts to help the now three vehicles waiting for pick up. Finally 25 minutes after I checked in, I received my order. It appears no one at the store is concerned about customer service. I have used pick up at several other Harris Teeter stores with no complaints. I am very unhappy with this experience.

Went to the seafood section and it was a mess…. Employees at the counter acted like they did want to help… no smiles or anything… I don’t like this Harris teeter at all. The crab legs were basically mixed with the dungeness crabs… at least make it look presentable.

I'm glad that they are open until 11 pm. This allows me to run in real quick after work to pick up a few items. The staff is always very friendly and helpful!!

Extremely rude I've recently moved to this area and been her 6 times each and every one of those times I have had bad experiences. Just because your closing in 15 minutes doesn't mean you have to be rude. Not just that I was at the register at 10:45 and having issues with my card. It was a ebt card and I didn't know that it has to used on a attendant register not self check out. The rude old man that looks to be in his 60's told me to just use another card. Unfortunately I left my other cards in the car.So I asked if he could move my transaction to another register to see if this is a issue only on that register. (This was before I was notified by cardholder services that it has to be a attendant only register to use it. )The rude old man said if you don't have the money it's fine I'll put it back. I asked if he could try to fix the issue by moving it to another register he again declined and said I can't help you. So I gave in and asked to go to my car to get my debit card. He replied yes then luckily as I was walking out I realized I took my card out earlier and it was in my pocket. So I turn around and old man was already putting my things back.I have been to many harris teeters before and never experienced this level of dis satisfaction. I will be going to the other store that is 10 minutes down the road. From now on.By the way if he would have done what I asked it would have fixed the issue apparently in case harris teeter reads these reviews which I doubt.This old man isn't the only problem here it's the whole culture of this store because I have seen 6 different people in checkout lanes all 6 times. If you make a customer's experience pleasant they will be returning. Just so you know.

Shopping with a 10 month old can be tough when they get cranked up and can become stressful. Joanne saw my struggle and brought my babygirl a balloon and she calmed down to let me finish shopping. What an awesome gesture that turned my day around. Thank you Joanne!

Sooooo this disgusting mess happened to me at the #harristeeter in University City. Talk about disgusting 😖🤢🤢🤢. The sushi dude had on NO GLOVES and touched his face while prepping. Cold storage items left out next to the hot bar. Hot bar was trashed, a bag of exploded lettuce left out ( I was up there for 5 min 36 sec before I was achknowledged) so who knows how long it was left up there prior to my arrival, and the employees were bickering amongst themselves about who training whom, thier break times and hair nets 🤢 It was diiirrrty AF. I will gladly drive that extra 15 minutes to Publix!!!! I have pics to upload!!!

Closet HT to home been here since 2000 even shopped there when it was on the other side of the shopping center. Have great produce finds, gas station, starbucks, and hopefully pharmacy one day! When they have coupon event it be crazy because the items would be out of stock fast or when there's a good sale.__12/23 I refuse to come to this store one of the csm is rude and doesn't provide customer service to her customers she use to but now have anger face out of no where. I don't understand why she's mad out of no where if she's not doing the refund. If something doesn't ring right or price is shown advertise they don't take it down have to honor it. Im finding another store to shop

went by for lunch today , surprising there was no one waiting in line at the deli station . waited a few minutes and the woman who was working by her self told me to come back later she was too busy and would not help me. said she had a big order . as I was walking out I stopped by the managers office to let him know my disappointment he didn't say a word to me . worst experience . will never go back there for lunch again .

Every time I shop at this Harris Teeter, I end up completely disappointed with the fruit I bought. The strawberries have no flavor, the cantaloupe tastes like wood, the blueberries are mealy, and the grapes are not even sweet. A former produce manager from this store once told me that this location receives the unwanted produce from other Harris Teeter stores that are in more affluent neighborhoods. I believe it.

Walked up to the sub counter at 7:39 and was told that I was unable to get a sub Made because they were closed. I was confused as the woman was clearly in front of me making a sub for another woman ( maybe the hrs changed ?) so I approached another Harris teeters associate about the closing time. I was told that yes they do close at 8pm. This is not the greatest customer service ! To be turned away from available food after a long day of work needing to feed yourchild because someone decided they wanted to close down early vs the time their company for has set .Very upset ! This is not the Harris teeters I’m use too.

Went late in the evening & they were stocking. The employees were constantly asking if they needed to move things for us or if we needed help. We got our groceries & came home with some of the freshest & most delicious fruit I've had in awhile!! They had some really good deals & We legit saved money just using that Vic card.

Basic everyday neighborhood Harris Teeter. If you’re in the neighborhood it’s a good place to stop. They have a Starbucks, sushi, sub, and pizza stations (but I think most Harris Teeters have these options). My go to stop of groceries or quick lunch.

This harris teeter has gone downhill and don't shop there frequently since the drugstore had closed. No other stores are close by to this HT. Odd smell when you walk in. Its sad this HT is my usual store but now it's not. Theres no pharmacy. Employees are strict and the CSM is now at Caldwell crossing

Ms. Patti is always so friendly and helpful. This is my neighborhood store and I just love it. I especially love I can grab coffee while I shop. Ms. Brandy is a terrific barista & they're lucky to have her! This store is always clean, inviting and full of wonderful produce! The flowers here actually last a couple of weeks so I definitely recommend getting them from this location if you're in need!

Decided to go to Harris Teeter instead of Walmart because it was closer to the campus on my way home went and bought noodles and some lunch meat and some kabasi and tea and when I went to make lunch before I went to work I found that the sandwich meat was way over consumption will be calling the manager and getting my money back they need to be better at going through their inventory and getting expired food off the shelves

This is the dirtiest Harris Teeter I've been to. I couldn't buy any fruit, all look old. The grapes were quite old, and I didn't understand why they didn't get rid of them from the shelf. Same with the strawberries. There were only 4 bananas left, and they were quite soft and old.

Manager named Thomas walked right by this empty deli at 1:30 on a Tuesday without any acknowledgement. This Harris Teeter sucks. Always have to wait 10+ minutes for a sub.
