Blakeney Harris Teeter is a perfect example of the high quality, great selection and excellent customer service that the chain is well known for. The shelves were well stocked (Saturdays being their busiest day). Excellent sales prices as well on many items. They also feature a fantastic pharmacy, a fresh meat/butcher area, deli bakery, seafood, frozen, as well as fresh meat and vegetables. I got a chance to meet the manager. He’s a really nice guy who cares very much about his store. The workers as well were very friendly and helpful. It’s an upscale area and this Teeter shows it!

The steaks consistently have white bands of gristle, the head of meat department doesn’t have a clue how to cut meat. Stay away from the meat dept. Also, check your bill when you’re checking out!! They will charge you wrong price for items because they’re sloppy with inventory displays. Call them out and get the item for free!! This is an HT Policy and the only way to make them correct their sloppy ways!

I stopped in for cold cuts for hero's. I bought the hero rolls and lunch meat. Excellent, quick & friendly deli workers. I can't say one negative thing. The woman helping me ( see picture ) was super helpful. A woman ordering next to me was very pickey about the thickness of her meat and annoying to watch, I was shocked to see the friendly & patience the male deli staff maintained. These people deserve credit! Clean, well organized store. 👍

I don't appreciate being racially profiled by the person that was in self checkout today. As soon as I went to scan my stuff he decided to stand right behind me and watch me like a hawk. He didn't do that to anyone else that was in self check out just me! It's 2024 if yall are going to hire people who have that mentality then yall need to seriously do diversity training!

I purchased an 18oz bone in rib-eye steak from the Harris Teeter Blakeney meat department out of the glass display case for Thanksgiving. I prefer a good steak instead of Turkey. I prepared and grilled it to medium plus. This piece of meat was the most sinewy and tough steak I’ve ever eaten. For paying $20 I expected it to be a wonderful tender substitute but it was the total opposite. I brought back the leftover steak with the inedible chewed remains to HT meat Dept manager Jerry. He was completely indignant and claims he’s had no complaints about his steaks. Probably because no one will go to the effort to inform him? If anyone wants a really good tender steak, do yourself a favor and stay away from this meat department.

The worker at the fish doesn't know how much three-quarters of a pound is. It takes a long time to finally slice, package and serve. You also have to wait a long time for him to come up.

Doing our family grocery shopping on a Sunday & as I was selecting 4 boxes of caffeine free coke zero, I was told very adamantly by a staff member to make sure I put them back in the shelves. To be clear, I was selecting boxes that were not torn because the last thing I want are cans spilling everywhere. I put the ones with unclosed boxes in the same shelf next to the same product. I had a stroller & toddler with me and the last thing I need is someone yelling at me how to shop when I clearly was still in the middle of making my choices and was in no way about to leave those boxes imperfectly stacked. He really rubbed me the wrong way because the shelf I put the torn boxes in were empty anyway and right next to the same coke zeros. If your staff is in a bad mood, maybe don't put them on the floor to ruin an unsuspecting customer's day for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It was so trivial, and frankly I was just minding my own business, just shopping. I typically love Harris teeter and the friendly staff but this guy is an outlier.

Tonia the floral manager was excellent. She was friendly and helpful with several suggestions for the arrangements for my daughter’s baby shower. I needed the flowers along with balloons early in the morning and all was ready and waiting. Beautifully done as we discussed.

Great Harris Teeter! A little hidden from sight. Big inside. There is a Starbucks a small walk away, not inside. The meat is great and so's the wine and beer selection. Tons of parking in front.

I was purchasing something from the produce section that checkout was having problems typing in the name. So I help type it in. The manager named Lotoyna came over and was extremely rude and yelling at me for trying to help type in the correct name. The lady at the cash register was extremely nice and helpful. I decided not to get the product. I told the manager already touched everything with my fingers and she didn’t care she wanted me to put it back. Not happy with the experience. Definitely not coming back.

This Harris Teeter is clean, well laid out, and well stocked with a huge selection across a wide range of grocery categories. The bakery, deli, produce section are excellent. They carry a wider variety of brands and flavors on the grocery shelves.The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pleasant shopping experience.Prices are higher than other grocery chains, but some of the items we buy aren't available at less expensive stores. We don't do all of our shopping at HT, but we do shop here fairly frequently.

Just not enough cashiers just to often sry too say or enough good sales either. Sales seem to be getting a little at this time. They are still holding their own for now@ I noticed a few more cashiers!! Slightly better then b-4 and it seems getting better. This is by far the best Harris Teeter around! The others are great too, don’t get me wrong! This location always has great produce and everything is very easy to fine! The whole store is neat and clean. The staff is so kind and helpful, especially Ethan the cashier!

I’ve been going to Publix for 3 years and decided to give HT a chance. Their payment system wouldn’t work and they couldn’t take credit or debit card.It took forever for the manager to show up when the problem happen to the guy in front of me, and again another long time for her to show up when it happened to me. She was also rude to the cashier, poor guy was so nervous and apologetic.On the positive side, Jade in the deli section was extremely kind and helpful.

Clean, with good produce and friendly staff. We used curbside delivery and it was worth the $4.95. The last time we did curbside delivery with a Harris Teeter at a different location and the service was awful! My husband sat and waited for a very long time until he had to go inside to get them!!! Very poor curbside delivery and that made me realize that it is not Harris Teeter service that has fallen, just that location 😕.

This is the worst HT around Ballantyne. My wife normally shop on HT Blakeney very frequently but will stop going since today’s horrible experience. Very bad customer service and they make you feel like you are shopping at Walmart instead of a high end grocery store. Wife paid for some items including a case of bottled water and returned back to get two more items I had asked to get last minute. While paying on the self check out she explained to Rosa - the cashier - that she was only paying for the new items and that she had the receipt for the rest. After almost finished with purchase Rosa approached her and asked her if she paid for the water that was sitting at the bottom, my wife said yes and passed her the receipt. My wife couldn’t even believed that she started looking at the receipt looking for the water which is only like $4 dollars. Showing with that action that she did not believe my wife was telling the truth. My wife felt very racially profiled by ROSA. After rectifying the water was actually on the receipt, no even an apology or a thank you was said. We do frequent shopping at Target and other HT’s and never were treated so badly. Even Food Lion or Aldi are better in service. They definitely need to improve their customer service and treat better frequent customers. Instead of going here, I recommend you choose to go to the HT in Providence or Rea Farms.

This store is a Yard sale....not organized and stuff all over the place. Decent product selection and most often fresh and in code. The fresh bread bakery is average at best and over priced for the quality. Normally day old and bread full of holes. Service is good. I do like shopping here but will see when competition arrives if I stay.

This Harris Teeter has the best online ordering staff ever! We've since moved a few miles away and have tried all the Harris Teeters closer to our house, but routinely schedule pickups at this one because everyone is so nice, the produce is always perfect, and our order is ready hours before our pickup time.

April has been with Harris Teeter for many years yet has the absolute worst customer service. Dear store manager, PLEASE train her to understand the importance of customer service. It's everything. To be fair, this store tends to have great customer service. She is just one I avoid.

Always excellent service! Even through all the insanity of what we are going through, the staff & management have been top notch! Ready to help in a minute! I know there are smiles under the masks! Sadly I see customers not thanking them or just pushing the staff out of the way. Be better folks & thank the front lines at HT or at any store now! They are there to serve unconditionally!!!
