I purchased a Mini Goldendoodle from here. When I went to take her home I noticed that the dog was labeled a boy but was actually a girl. No problem, I was still happy to have a girl even though I thought she was a boy. The store employees told me I could not take her home until 1 week later when the vet changed the health certificate to show the right gender. Fine, well I take her home and she is having diarrhea. I took her to my vet and she tested positive for Giardia. The vet stressed to be careful because it can be spread to my kids and said that if my dog has it then the whole pet store probably is infected . I spent hundreds of dollars at the vet today. 😞 Also I did research on the breeder my puppy came from and of course the dogs come from puppy mills.Only positive experience from this is friendly employees who actually took the time to talk to us about our puppy.

Clean and friendly, I saw his pic on Facebook and called and talked to the nice lady about Bodie. She told me about the way he could be my puppy. It was a 2 hour drive but he's the best!

If anyone is looking for a puppy or specific breed then definitely check this place out. The puppies look very happy and well kept, they will let you bond with the puppy or be with him if you undecided. If I need another (soon) I’ll definitely come back to this place and my golden is perfect

Came in for the white Shiba Inu, and got helped by both Sofia and Nevaeh. Overall I recommend to come in and check them out. You’re able to view the puppies and play with them and the overall staff is really friendly.

I LOVEE THISS PLACE, they have soo many good cute loving dogs, sarah helped me find my perfect dog and joselyn made the check out process so easy and quick, couldn’t recommend more. Drove from columbia for her!!!*me 4 weeks later update* SHES AMAZING, the process was just so unbelievably easy for a lifelong best friend, i do recommend seeing if their chip is registered and scans the right way, because her chip was unreadable at the vet and now we have to put a new one in, when we were charged a 90$ fee for the chip when purchasing her… so heads up about that!Back to the process, they didn’t give me much to go off with my puppy, like what to do and how I was to make her feel most comfortable, THEN… her first vet apt (i did not use their vet they partnered with, because of the long drive) we were talking to the vet and he lifted her up to ask me what was the stitches on her belly, i literally almost dropped, like thinking i just got the biggest scam of a life time and my dog was going to have to be cut open. The situation wasn’t that bad after all but it turn out she had had an umbilical cord tumor and had surgery to get it fixed, way before we had got her, this was a shock and it had felt very shady to me after all of it was said and done, Sarah the worker was nice and all but the shade with her was real, especially come to find my dog had been cut open and sewed back in the first 6 weeks of her life. Very confusing, I probably wouldn’t buy from here again because they are very overpriced and shady and not being transparent with a living animals life just will not, be for me! Love my new baby thought we’ve had so much fun the past month and I love her, she’s worth the fuss but it could’ve been easier!

Sara helped me with a beautiful German Shepard puppy. Very detailed on the warranties they come with, and went over everything with us. Several people cleaning windows and making sure the puppy’s had water and food, it was so nice to see. Would definitely purchase from again! Love my puppy already!!!!

My experience at this pet store was well, for the people reviewing the dogs get no attention that’s false! There is playpens in the floor and they allow you to hold two puppies but the employee let us hold three, very sweet! Though we ended up holding out on getting a dog everyone was so sweet and so was the puppies.The dogs are out in the glass crates which is safer in my opinion than them chewing on bars and getting their paws stuck between them.Yes you may not be able to touch all the puppies, but you at least get to interact with them. There is an explanation im sure!Can’t wait to get a puppy.

10 out of 10 would recommend. Sofia, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful through this process. The puppy came with appropriate papers, there is a great health warranty and information on the puppies parent’s. The store is very clean and well kept. The puppies are also clean and, look healthy. Absolutely my 3rd visit to Happy Puppies Universe. So, many adorable little puppies to choose from. The staff is really amazing, helpful and knowledgeable about specific topics/questions you have about the breed of pup! Coming here to purchase was really important to me because, this little guy (Shih tzu) is for my 69 year old mom who lives alone and could use a companion. May 3rd, 2024 is her birthday. So, this going to be the perfect surprise for her. Thank you for your service.

I purchased a field golden retriever puppy from here and she was already 3 months old.Positive things:1. You can touch and see the puppy before purchasing.2. The employees were really nice and answered all my questions.3. The process of buying the puppy is very quick and easy.4. You receive 1 or even 2 bags of food and cans that the puppy was eating before.Negative things:1. Puppies, even large breeds, stay in the cages for months! The cage is not clean, there's no space, the dogs don't eat well or get cleaned. This causes puppies to have diseases, infections, parasites, bacteria, worms or worse.2. ⁠They don’t give the puppies vaccinations even if they passed the two months old.3. I got my puppy and she was already with worms.4. When I went to the Vet that they have partnership with they DIDN’T LET my puppy have the required VACCINES ON THE 1st VISIT. The Vet knew that if I came back another day for the vaccines I would pay the visit fee too. I decided to never go back there so I took my puppy ​​to Vetco to get her shots and to see a doctor.5. She was 4 months old when she started vomiting and having diarrhea with a little bit of blood. Last week we took her to Vetco and they said she got ​​tested positive for Giardia! Vecto gave 3 types of medicine to help her. We still don't know if she's going to be okay!6. The $95 extra microchip fee is just another way to get more money out of you. You can definitely get this done and activated cheaper elsewhere!!! The microchip provider has another $65 minimum fee to get it activated.Unfortunately all these facts are true and I regret believing that I purchased a healthy puppy. If they took more care of the puppies and the place where they live they wouldn’t have health problems later.

Came in to look around and staff was already friendly from the start. By being greeted by India, and then being helped by Sara, the whole experience was very welcoming. I ended up going home with my puppy Shiba Inu and I couldn’t be more happier. It all started by a small inquiry, by then viewing and playing with the puppy to make sure you like their personality, and then adopting. They have a variation of forms of payment they take and you can even finance and that experience was pretty easy to just check and see your limit. Overall, I recommend going in and looking at the puppies. They all are very adorable, and the staff is super knowledgeable and welcoming.

Purchased a puppy from this location. Got the puppy home and my son started experiencing allergies. Since the dog is hypoallergenic we were not expecting this. We called the store within a day, we explained the situation and asked if they would take him back, we desired no refund, the puppy is honestly just perfect and we want him to find a good home. Really not worried about money at this stage. They suggested we ask co workers to take him…Really???? I would understand if we had had the puppy for longer that a day or if we wanted our money back, we just wanted to help find him a good home and thought they could resell him quickly because he is honestly perfect.

My friend and I went in today in search of a puppy. We have been looking for the right puppy for a long time. My friend was IN love with Italian Greyhounds and they had one so she obviously wanted to play with it. Then I fell in love with a Golden Retriever and wanted to play with her. I was still unsure of my breed that I wanted so we asked to hold the Cocker Spaniel…after the employee completely ignored and disregarded us, we were then told that you can only play with 2 puppies and then you had to make a decision. What? Isn’t the point of a store like this to play with a bunch of different puppies and pick your favorite? Sucks because I was pretty sure I wanted that Golden Retriever but after the staff was so rude and kept rolling their eyes at us, we just decided to leave. So sad because we had been looking forward to this all week.

Hi all, This place is amazing! About a week or so ago I was driving down 49 and noticed a new yellow sign in a plaza that says “puppies”. My friend and I decided to check it out, as I was convinced it couldn’t be a puppy store. Well I was shocked to look into the glass and see “PUPPY HEAVEN “!! Making a long story..short.. I needed some puppy kind of love and they were great and asked if I wanted to play with a pup and then I fell in love with all the cuteness. If you are searching for a new fur baby and want a certain small breed make sure to check them out. Everyone is super nice and had patience to deal with all the question.

This is the shadiest, creepiest pet store I’ve ever been to. It’s 100% a front for something super sketchy.The place is set up with these eerie play house props with large fish tanks, each holding 3-4 puppies and scrap paper for them to sleep and pee on. They’re severely short staffed too so you can tell these things rarely get cleaned. The puppies look nothing like they do online and they definitely aren’t the breeds they say they are. They’re also all covered in clumps of paper scraps and dog poop.After I picked a puppy, I told them I wanted to take her home. She was 4 months old, so she was available to come home same day. I signed the contract, submitted my payment, and they said they’d text me in about an hour to come pick her up after they groomed her. They never texted me. I went back anyway, stood there and waited for close to 30 minutes. While we were waiting, we caught a glimpse of what’s in the back when someone went opened the door to go back there. We saw rows of smaller fish tanks, vents going to each of them, and what looked like puppy fetuses inside. Needless to say, we just wanted to get my puppy and go.Someone finally comes out and says she has a very mild ear infection and that they’d have to quarantine her for 10 days before I could take her home. If you’re financing, this also means you’ll start paying off your loan before you even get the dog. I completely understand being cautious, but it’s a mild ear infection and they require you take the dog to a vet within 48 hours anyway (this was also on a Sunday and they said their vet wasn’t coming until Wednesday, but they didn’t care that I could get her care faster). They also aren’t vets so they aren’t able to diagnose an ear infection. Plus, the contract even says I purchased the dog “as is” and “with all faults.” The puppy even had a clean bill of health from their vet just 4 days prior.I went home, reviewed the contract again, and called them on Wednesday. The people that answer the phone do not work at the store. They only have very minimal, basic info. I spoke to them four times and they kept changing their story. First, they said it was just the store’s preference to hold them for 10 days after being sold because of how previous customers didn’t get their puppies proper care. Then, they said the ear infection again but said only 5 more days (it had only been 3 since they told me 10). Then they said they’d couldn’t explain but the manager could when I go to pick up my dog. I told them I’d be there later that day.I had to call the police to pick my dog up. And even with police back up, the teenage girls that work there (that I’m pretty sure are being trafficked) wanted to give me the run around. One of them had pimple patches all over her face and mentioned the manager again, I asked if they were there, she said no, I asked if she knew when they’d be there, she said no. Not surprising since there’s no way anyone manages this place otherwise I would’ve offered to wait around for them. Another girl switched up the timeline again and said I could pick her up on Saturday (total quarantine time: 5 days).They finally agreed to give me my dog when I showed them their own contract that obviously none of them have ever read but they said I’d have to put in writing that I wouldn’t hold them liable for any issues or vet bills…as if I hadn’t already signed the contract saying exactly that. I obviously agreed and they went to get my dog from the back.Again, not exactly sure what’s going on back there but my dog looked so out of it and loopy when they gave her to me. She couldn’t even stand up on her own because her legs would give out. Luckily this wore off after about 30-45 minutes but further proof of how sick this place is.The only reason to buy a puppy from here is to save them from the people that use the store as a drug front. Just bring some back up and whatever you do, don’t let them take your dog to the back!

We loved it here! After doing a lot of research, we decided a corgi would be the perfect addition to our family. Only, we’ve never actually met a corgi lol happy puppy universe had two corgi puppies, one male and one female, both of which we were able to play with. They were both so cute and really solidified our choice to adopt a corgi. These puppies are very outgoing, socialized and clearly well taken care of. I would highly considering purchasing our corgi from here when we are ready.
