This is the worst goodwill in Charlotte. The manager Carla Pitts is completely incompetent and rude. Carla knowingly lets the employees she likes, steal. The general manager Colleen Rizzo who hired her is even worse, and knows she does that. They mistreat ALL the employees. The entire corporate office works together to cover for bad the employees and each other. It is pointless to complain. The store itself is disgusting as well. The drive thru was full of actual trash and furniture. The racks holding the clothes that weren’t lying all over the floor were leaning about to fall over. The shoe bench to try on shoes was broken. What was available to shop was a mess. There was ONE employee working and she was stuck at the register helping the 10 deep line with no help. This was a Saturday and it was super busy!

I purchased over 100 dollars in items and checked with three different employees to make sure I was able to return the items. Each employee told me I had 30 days to return my items to get a full refund. I went back in three days later and they gave me store credit instead of a refund, and told me they NEVER do refunds.

Found a lot of cool stuff, including a Captain Marvel canvas painting of Goose the cat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they organize the store much better than most retail places. Very clean inside as well.

Absolutely a great place...as far as books go. I found several amazing books and one that was in my scholastics bookfair...for 99 cents!!! I can't say anything about their other products but they do have a nice selection of books if you are a book reader looking for their next fix.

I went to this goodwill and they had a hand held cordless vacuum cleaner used and donated that cost them nothing and with no charger to charge the darn thing and they were asking $29.00… seriously !!!! I looked it up on line and target, Walmart and the main website for that vacuum they had it for $24.99.. this is ridiculous!! Also they had put so many stickers of the price on all the items.. I will not shop here ever again.!!!

I wasn’t planning on leaving a review before but today a cashier just tried to overcharge me for $20 on my order and short changed my friend for $5. The store overall has pretty good selections but there is one middle age black lady cashier that has either short changed or tried to short change/overcharge me every time I go. One time I heard her ask a customer if they would like to round up their order to $10 to “support goodwill”, a FOR PROFIT organization. I wouldn’t rounding up my order for a charity but I’m pretty sure she’s just trying to get extra cash out of the customer. She did not give me or my friend our recipes and said the printer was broken when it was clearly working for people before us so we know she was trying to mess with the numbers. I’m surprised she still has a job there and to be honest the managers should really overlook the staffs more. Having someone as incompetent as her working there and scamming people ruins the experience for everybody. I hope the owner/manager will see this message and set higher standards for who they choose to hire and has the privilege to handle cash.

The mark up on these items are starting to get ridiculous! staff can be rude at times. And they will price things one price one day, and another, another day. Kind of disappointed. Never have I seen a goodwill so greedy.

The selection of good stuff was pretty good. It was easy to find things that were less than $3 and in good or new condition. The selection of electronics was just okay but I know this can vary. I liked that they had a few LCD TVs up front working and at very reasonable prices. They also had some non-working electronics that were discount priced and clearly labeled as such. I appreciate that.

Can always find a good deal here. Prices are very good compared to a few other Goodwill shops. The store is organized and clean. Sometimes it is a bit crowded and lots of things everywhere, but that’s a good sign. I’ve found lots of clothes with original tags on them, and some great items in household section. I recommend stopping by this Goodwill if you are in the are or just looking to spend the day visiting thrift shops.

I often go to the Goodwill as it’s close to me. Something I have noticed for quite a while now there is a couple of ladies that seem to stand by the doors waiting for the staff to bring out items to the floor. They literally follow them trying to get to the items first and if that means shoving and pushing anyone that seems to get in their way they do not care. One lady always has her phone out, I guess looking to resale items. I just wish staff would pay more attention and tell them to wait until they unload the bins or clothing racks before they start grabbing and not block the doors. I find it almost hilarious how it seems this is their daily job. They literally are at this store everyday/all day.

I've been here a couple of times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The goods are mixed in quality, but I've had some great finds! Once I came to bring donations and saw someone donating things I wished to purchase and the staff not only unloaded my car, but also helped to make sure that the items I wanted that had just been donated made it to the shelves within a few minutes.

Pretty alright Goodwill. It seems like there is a lot of turnover of the books, DVDs, and clothing so if you revisit you're not just seeing the same stuff again and again. They did get rid of the fitting room which isn't good though.

I went in to see if I could find some blank pants for work. After searching for about 5 mins, I was able to find what I needed.The employees were very friendly and there was not a wait to check out.The deals and bargains are not as great as they used to be. However, this is still a good place to find various things below retail, if you are looking to save a few bucks.

Never have found anything decent here and it's sad that this "organization" sends the nicer things off to dealers and yahoos trying to make a buck up selling. Typically this location is picked through, unorganized and rather bare but judging by where it's located, I can't say I'm surprised.

The items in this branch are very well organized, making it easy to find what you might be looking for. Plus, it's always great to browse around, you never know what you'll find.Pricing is very reasonable, given how good the condition of the merchandise is. Of the three stores in the vicinity, this location is the best.

It was okay but the day I went there were not much clothes there that I likee, I think it was the day though because the last time I came to this goodwill, I found a decent amount of clothes. The prices are very good, normal shirts cost 3.99 so that is a good thing. There was one employee who seemed kind of rude but she seemed to be having a bad day.

The employees cater to a Hispanic lady and her kids, and grandkids. They camp out at the door waiting on items to brought out for sale. They get first choice of all items brought out. Its a zoo when they are there. She is allowed to take her shopping cart in the bathroom to try on clothes. The dressing rooms are closed and signs say you can't do that. Management needs to watch from the security cameras how they overtake the store when in there. The employees allow this to happen.

I've been to this location several times, and it seems that their best selection is women's clothes - we did some hunting, and found my girlfriend a full professional wardrobe of thirty or so items for under a hundred dollars. If you've got a teenage daughter and you're looking for a prom dress, they have a *disturbingly* high number to choose from. Definitely lacking in men's selection, though.The staff has always been polite, the dressing rooms clean, but you have to know that you're going here to hunt for treasure - you're going to sift through a lot that's just not.The clothes are sorted by type, and then by color - makes it easier to find a specific look, but harder to find a size. Occasionally will have some fantastic deals - nerf blasters, toys, etc.

The staff members are very curtious and friendly at this location. I do have a problem with some of the prices. For example, the items that are salvaged and given to Goodwill from one of the major retail stores, are overly priced. In addition, for the condition of some of the merchandise, the prices are outrages. The store has been remodeled and now it has plenty of move around space. It's clean as well.

I go in from time to time to find video games. I've noticed they are getting a few here and there but are asking too much. I think they look up online prices and gauge from there. Unfortunately they don't sell them for what I would pay at goodwill. If I'm going to pay those prices I'll go to a large chain store or a local business knowing I can have a more secure warrenty, convenience of stocked products, acurate market value prices, and price matching. I spoke to a cashier once and mentioned the price and how steep it was. She was very helpful. When I went back and saw they still priced them high I was little suprised. This time the cashier was not helpful and said there was nothing she could do. One of the perks of goodwill is finding small treasures for really good deals. When I find a small treasure that no one wanted but I did I was disappointed that I had to walk away due to service and poor pricing. I will try again and hope I just was being assisted with the wrong person at the wrong time but if it continues I'll just stop wasting my time and go somewhere else.

So you can go into any business and have to deal with a rude employee. Personally I can't remember having a problem at this particular Goodwill And I find some really cool deals there quite often. Not to mention if I were asked how much something cost everyday. When the price is clearly on the item, I might be a bit rude too.
