Nice clean store. Great customer service and great selection. Only complaint is produce, Food Lion doesn't have the best lasting produce. It looks good when you buy it but spoils fairly quickly.

Jordyn is the rudest customer service employee ever she should never transfer over from cashier to Customer service she don't how to deal with customers and all she cares about is her job and her money. She refuse to let me return meat from another food lion store and made me push the cart so hard because she made me frustrated. I never want to have her ever take care of me because she doesn't handle it well.'

Clean, complete, and have wide parking space. Great selection of meat and snacks. Loyalty program is available if you want one for discount and other benefits. Place is well-lit, the racks are well organized, and the staff are quite friendly.

Brian the night manager is rude he is always mad. If he see something suspicious he will question. He don't need to work at this food lion. The csm lady with the glasses shes rude and never provide CS and also Monica they all need to go. Chappie is good managerCashier always close their lanesMost of the cashiers are ghetto and has to be an AA woman. Do yourself a favor and go to the Rocky River FL better staff members.The store needs sco and not to deal with an employees

Perfectly sized small local grocery store that has everything in stock. Very friendly staff and prices that can't be beat. Definitely check out the hot wing bar also

The Food Lion at 7400 The Plaza Rd Ext, Charlotte, NC is the BEST!. The Managers and Staff are terrific! The Staff is always polite and you do not have to wait long at the registers. But my very favorite folks are those that work in the Deli / Bakery. If I need a cake for a birthday or a sandwich tray for a party, they go above a beyond to help. The wing bar is GREAT TOO. Thanks so much to the people that work at the Food Lion located at Plaza Rd. Ext. Charlotte, NC 28215.

Do not come to this store very much. Nothing against the store, but there are closer one than this one. Can say that this store is always clean and well lit. Had a great customer experience with the cashier and it brightened my day. Didn't get her name and it isn't on the receipt. She helped turn a quick trip into a good experience. That is how you get customers to return

This older store is very modest and homely looking. You'd expect customer service to be respectful and pleasant. It isn’t. While I was waiting at customer service the woman behind the counter addresses me, "What do you want." Not how can I help you, how are you today? But "what do you want". I told her I needed a money order and she says it’ll be a minute. I didn't like “what do you want" at all but gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then she comes from behind the counter and shouts to another customer, "Sir go to line 6!" Who in customer service talks this way to their customers?.... I see now that it wasn't just me, she must not have basic manners nor training in customer retention. Or maybe I expect too much. I can’t expect ME from THEM.... Whelp back to HT I go...

This food lion is horrible, smelly and expensive for the most part but the markdowns. Store manager is cool and all some staff as well. One employee doesn't deserve being ACSM was previously cashier attitude was horrible. The cashiers never greet and No self checkout small store. Skip and jordyn are always night cashiers. some cashiers are minor and close their register at certain time cashier 206 and 212. I would shop elsewhere but this store is closet to home

Food Lion promotes an appealing view to the general public, and try to paint some charitable organization to the local community. There are so many great under utilized individuals within, that can do so much more .Like any major corporation operating in a " AT WILL " employment setting1. Employee files complaint with company or state agencyEmployer + Employee - - - - big minusa. At this point generally the employer will use government agencies, lawyers, and insurance companies to steal, kill, and destroy the employee stellar employment history, refute the truth, and scar their employees mentally with no regard.Food Lion during the pandemic really demonstrated the hypocrisy they live in, due to corporate mentality $$$$ , failing senior local store staff, and the employees that supported these management teams. Employees lives were put in danger and many lost lost their lives.The turn over rate of employees with this employer is like many others due in part to the lack of proper;a. Honest, Ethical, Caring Managementb. A truthful proper hands on mentoring training school for new employees.c. A do as I do atmosphere, rather than the usual do as I say or else

Crowded busy short staffed. Had what I needed so I was fine with that. The shelves were being stock as you walked through out the store. Staff themselves they were very polite. But again that store was very crowded for a Thursday night.

Love this location visit/shop here daily. Most employees and managers are amazing. Some are ok, rarely do I run into any ill/undesired attitudes from cashiers or floor supervisors, the stockers are always pleasant and offer a smile and a can I help you find anything. Clerks will double check on items if you ask, helps if you're polite and kind to them. Managers appreciate being alerted to potential hazards due to "spills". Employees will assist with grocery walk out and help load vehicle if asked. I've also been approached by a worker who showed us a new item that our family super enjoyed. Love this location's staff. Makes shopping less like a chore, and more like a place to say hey to some familiar friendly faces.

This is the BEST FOOD LION. Old school family style. The people are the greatest. My mom has been shopping there for over 20 years. They know her by name. I told them today my mom is in her last days and they all are praying for her. THANKS EVERYONE THERE.

Advice to the General Manager and the Hiring Manager for this particular location. Usually my experience here is great except when I go to this one particular older African American lady's line. She just ALWAYS seems unhappy about life itself. If you can't Talk and Greet each customer with a smile then go work in the back stocking or something so we don't have to deal with you. HIRE PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THAT A SMILE AND WARM GREETING GO A VERY LONG WAY. very disappointed with this visit, disappointed everytime I walk in Food Lion and see her working... Same Vibe 24/7

Food Lion is my convenient neighborhood grocery store. I can always stop by and pick up all my dinner party items. Nice variety of things like red and white wine 🍷, champagne 🍾, meats. Fruits, cakes, sodas sweets and exotic global foods items like coconut milk 🥥 and plantains.

In the last year I've noticed some big changes at this location. It's always clean and a good selection of produce and groceries but the biggest change has been in it's employees. They're always smiling and making sure I've found what I've been looking for and that alone will keep me coming back. Well done Food Lion. Thank you.

Food Lion is a decent store with good prices. Not exactly the place to go if you are looking for anything special but they have the staples at good prices. Their bakery makes good bread but the produce section at this particular store is very small.
