Absolutely terrible. Avoid this Dollar General at all costs. Came here for Saturday deals and good luck cause they haven’t unpacked ANY of their merchandise (at 11am on a Saturday). There was no employee visible unpacking products. No shopping carts available, poorly organized and operated.

Honestly the worst Dollar General I've been in and I think that says something. Most of the aisles are blocked so if you use any mobility aid, you cannot get through. In order to get out of this place you have to go back to the beginning of the store through one of maybe 2 accessible aisles. Also, most DG takes EBT but not this one - and that would be ok if you could even get through the place but you only can if you're able bodied so I guess they only want that type of customer. Save yourself the trouble and go to Food Lion next door or Dollar Tree which is better at accessibility. Oh also one of the doors is locked but there's nothing that I saw to tell you that so be aware of it especially if you are disabled and trying to exit.

Loaded All of my digital coupons before I arrived. The store shelves were bare. All the things I wanted we're not stocked. They are having a good end-of-summer sale! Got to pick up some cushions and outdoor stuff. Then when I did go check out the line was so long that I had to wait at least 20 minutes to get up to the counter. Then when I did, it did not accept my $5 off coupon for the weekend! I'm so done!

I went into this store just now and saw that there was a sign in the door stating that they were closing at 5 p.m. That wasn't an issue and was happy they had a sign. It was barely anything in the store. Again, that wasn't an issue either because a lot of the stores are short on items. I decided just to get a snack and go to the register where a lady was loudly talking on the phone via video chat. I approached the lady on video chat to get my items rung up and she did not greet me but continued to video chat and eat (or should I say smack) while ringing up my snacks. She began to brag to her video on video chat that she was closing down her store at 5 pm and started chuckling about it and continued to say that the weather is bad and she won't be at the store. I paid with my card and she just handed me my receipt. I politely said thank you and have a good day and she still didn't open her mouth and was still video chatting. The fact that this lady said she was closing her store made me think she is the manager. Her lack of customer service and unprofessionalism had me in awe. On top of that, when I was leaving out getting into my cat and was a loud sound coming out of the store and that was her screaming to her friend on video chat while coming outside to smoke. We have to do better!!!!

This is a poorly ran establishment. It's employees have no concept of professionalism or understanding of customer service. They close early and randomly, employees are on the phone at the register when checking you out, they yell to each other from different parts of the store, eat behind the counter, and they barely know how to operate the technology that seems to always shut down. They have a don't care attitude and take no pride for where they choose to earn a living. It's not clean, dust is everywhere. They are a poor representation of the business and the community at large. Please invest in better management who has integrity and cares and is accountable and get this place in shape. I could go on but a few other reviewes covered those things. Listen, if you come to this Dollar General expect nothing more then a dollar experience. I say drive a little further and spend your money elsewhere.

The store got renovated and everything has changed. However the store is a mess with stuff that needs to be stocked. The staff is really horrible one woman was shouting across to her employee just to talk. I really don't like her working for dg.___Jordan is rude and needs to mind his own business. He laugh at me when I pull the dg app and scan items to see what the price was___Update this store is horrible needs to get better staff they treat couponers rude

By far the worst Dollar general store in Charlotte NC. employees are rude and assume customers are stealing for no reason. There's video cameras. I have the right to browse around but not to steal. I was banned here last year by 2 female african american BS employee for NO REASON. The store manager Crystal told me if I took something I will be ban from all DG stores. Poor management and service towards customers. I can't believe I can't come in to my own dollar general store still waiting for ron mcqueen/paige (district managers)respond. He told me I can come in but never reply back to my email or call.

Had a decent selection of things at reasonable prices. I got some colored pencils and coloring books from there and a really awesome fluffy white soft pillow. Their energy drink prices are on par with the gas stations that have deals on them. It's great for little bowls and various useful stuff that you just need to buy really quickly for a science project or YouTube challenges. I would recommend coming here. Their staff is very courteous and friendly. Pretty quick in and out even if there is a long line. Check it out you won't regret it.

The cashiers are super nice, but I ALWAYS have problems with coupons. They NEVER honor them although they are the correct coupon for the correct product. The cashier ALWAYS has to override the system and the stores aisles are always blocked by work other team mates are doing on the floor. It's never a pleasure to go into this store.

I live in this location, but they can't keep employees, sometimes the manager works every single day. Please treat the employees right so that they remain. We have met sooo many employees there that make each visit welcomed.

Nothing special about the store. Average customer service / cashier wasn't too friendly had to wait to ring up my items until she finished texting , store could gave been a bit more organized .

Its ok. The manager is always talking to.the other worker about buliding a fence around the back. Im not suppose to know this. She talks about her coworker too. Sometimes its hard to cash out. She cant multo task

It's backwards from most Dollar Generals. Actually, from every other DG I've ever been to if you want me to be brutally honest.The aisles are so close to the ceiling that it feels like a labyrinth and it's unsettling.If you're claustrophobic, avoid this DG at all costs!

It looks like this store is in the middle of some big changes. There was a lot of merchandise being moved around and restocked. I am being told it is under new management. She should keep up the fantastic work!

The store has outgrown itself. There is so much "junk" or sales items on the counter where the cash register is that you cannot even get your merchandise all on there for the cashier to check them out. The store is junky, dirty and just plain outdated.When you need a manager they are always behind clse doors in the back of the store.CLEAN IT UP, STRAIGHTEN IT UP! I'm going across the street to the Family Dollar just to be able to breathe.

Had alittle trouble with the register accepting my coupon. The cashier was patient and we got it done. Some customers were frustrated and started to leave but it wasnt her fault. Computers ya know?

While I was there a customer who was waiting for a return was told he would have to wait. The young men who did returns ran out of store (he might have been on his break - not sure) & the customer went to mention to him that he needed to return & was told to come back later.

The store hours are from 8-10pm but they lock the doors at 9:40pm, and that is after they see a customer about to come in!

Hard to get around store. They were obviously going to stock shelves but didn't see anyone doing that and they weren't checking people out either. There was only one person checking people out. Don't know where everyone else was. And this was not at lunchtime either.

Can I tell you how much I hate this store? Empty shelf. Doesn't matter because you can't get down the isles to get anything because of stock carts blocking everything. It is poorly managed

I like this store because it's close to my home and is always fully stocked but it's always hot in the store!
