Dilworth dog grooming is the best!!! We love it here and they always listen to what I ask them to do and do a great job with my doodle Gus! He is a puppy and isn’t the easiest to groom and they are always so sweet to him. Highly recommend this place. They even sent him home with the cutest valentines bandana!! Best groomer in Charlotte!

Dilworth is such a hidden gem! Both of our dogs had some spots where hair wasn’t growing back in prior to bringing them to Dilworth, probably from previous groomers shaving them so short. After just one cut, their hair/fur grew back in beautifully! It is so easy to schedule and communicate with them too. The dogs are always sooo handsome and smell so good when picked up! And, the expawlorer windows are my fave! Highly recommend Dilworth Dog Grooming! Thank you for loving our dogs!

Josephine gave our Sheepadoodle the best haircut she has ever gotten - five stars! Our dog has been groomed in DC and Seattle throughout her life and has never had such a perfect haircut or good experience. Very reasonable price and great service, highly recommend!!

we love it here! they take such excellent care of our bella. she loves how she can play with other dogs while she's there. they always do such a great job with her coat and the de shedding works wonders. everyone is very polite and accommodating.

Great experience!! I had a horrible first grooming experience with my dog, and Dilworth Dog Grooming turned it all around. Reasonable price and great groomers. Josephine was amazing!!

June appointment was canceled due to groomer emergency. They worked me in 2 weeks later. Then received text that my dogs next appointment was 2 weeks later (I never made the appointment). So asked if that appointment could be moved out 4 weeks since my dog was just there. Never heard back until I get a text confirming my august appt (which again I never made). Took her in for that 8am appointment. Needed her back by noon. Got a text 20 mins after dropping her off that they were overbooked and she wouldn’t be ready by noon. I texted back that I still needed her by noon and that the overbooking was not my issue. Then received a text 20 mins later that they suspended all grooming due to a storm coming in. So I said I would just come her and not to groom her. Walked in and the doorbell rang. Waited 5 mins for someone to come to front desk. Walked back out and in again so the doorbell would ring. Lady finally came to front desk. Asked her to get my dog. SHE BROUGHT ME THE WRONG DOG!!!!!! I assume she did not check the name tag they put on the dogs. I asked her to bring me the right dog. 8 minutes later I’m still waiting for my dog. I yelled across the 3/4 wall and said just bring her to me and we will leave….still no answer. I walked behind the front desk and into the grooming area to find 4 groomers trying to put on her harness. They had put it on her upside down and backwards. I was livid. She was shaking and I’m certain they had put an e-collar on her. She’s never had one on.One groomer said “I don’t know why you’re so mad.” Lady! My dog has been her 2+ hours, no grooming, and you brought me the wrong dog. If they are this negligent with my dog, I can’t imagine what goes on when clients aren’t there. Never going back. I hope this review helps, bc that was not an experience that should be repeated.You can play it out however you’d like, but your service is subpar. I only got upset when you brought me the wrong dog and then took 10 minutes to bring me the correct dog. No answer from anyone in the back as to where my dog was. Anyone would be upset if their dog was trusted to ppl who can’t seem to find the correct dog. Doesn’t matter. My review is out here and I’m not changing it. My behavior was justified.

I brought my puppy in for the first time and met my groomer Kim.Kim was warm and wonderful.I had specific instructions for my puppy, Bash. He is a 4 lb mini schnauzer and this was his first groom.His puppy cut turned out super cute and smelled great.Kim was really accommodating. I didn't want a traditional schnauzer look on him. And he was an adorable little teddy bear leaving Dilworth.The woman in the front was super nice and it felt like everyone there really loved him.As a new puppy mom, I was kind of a nervous wreck with leaving Bash for the first time.But, I now feel like Kim and the staff are part of our pups extended family.

This place has been up and down for us. We loved our first few cuts then a few we weren't crazy about BUT it's hair, it grows back! Lucky for us. Love that they let the dogs play before & after grooming.Once you find a stylist you like, I suggest always making your appointments for them.They claim they are putting a pricing board up so the pricing is more clear. Right now it's not clear what price you are paying.. If it is for the length of hair or size of dog. We've had an issue with changing pricing. ( We've talked with them and handled it ) Still giving this place a thumbs up.

Highly recommend!! Carla was absolutely incredible! Will definitely be a full time customer after this morning! I was out for a run with my pup Leo when he ripped his nail. I had just coincidentally noticed the groomers on our run and stopped in to ask advice if I needed to see a vet or if they could help. Carla trimmed his nail, helped him get cleaned up and educated me on how to best care for it. All free of charge, she truly cared about Leo who she just met today and was so kind to me. I am so beyond grateful for her help, and will definitely be returning for some grooming and nail trimming! What a wonderful act of kindness from a great place in our animal community!

They’re the best! I discovered this place recently, as I needed to find a place near work so I could take my dog in during/after work quickly for her nail trims. The first time I went was so smooth- in and out quickly and they did an amazing job! Then tonight, I got there later than I had planned to because I was running late with work, and they still trimmed my dog’s nails, even though they didn’t have any other clients for the day and were cleaning up. The owner was amazing and so happy to help! Then she didn’t even charge me. I was so sure she would be annoyed with me running in right before they closed, but she couldn’t seem happier to help. And I am so relieved because my girl needed her nail’s trimmed for a trip this weekend. Highly recommend!

FINALLY! After having so much trouble finding a good groomer for our mini golden doodle, we finally found our place! Can’t recommend this place enough. Very easy to communicate and set up appointments. They made sure to ask exactly what I wanted prior to the appt and made sure that my dog looked how I wanted before leaving. Very friendly staff and lots of other dogs for your pet to play with while waiting to be groomed! You will not regret having your pet groomed here! The cut was very neat and consistent and our dog Gordie looks great!

Dilworth Dog Grooming saved us! Our dog had been absolutely butchered by our usual mobile groomer, and we were heading out of town for two weeks the next day, so we were in a pickle! Carla responded to my text right away and was able to take him as a walk-in that morning. She didn't have much of a canvas to work with after the hack job by the mobile groomer, so my expectations were low, but he came out looking great! Having that great experience, we took our older dog there a few weeks later. He normally hates being groomed, but he was happy as could be when I picked him up later, and looked like a million bucks! The atmosphere is like a day-camp for pups, and the team is large and experienced enough to be able to schedule you without having to wait weeks or months. I highly recommend Carla and the team at Dilworth Dog Grooming!

Our beloved doodles are in great hands with Carla managing Dilworth Dog Grooming. She is a seasoned professional and our pup, Gordie, loves her. She is so compassionate and gentle with Gordie and he comes out looking better than ever. Carla came to our rescue when he needed surgery and got him in to be groomed beforehand to prevent matting. We are so grateful for Carla's talent and for the peace of mind knowing our boy is always taken care of in her hands or under her supervision. I highly recommend Dilworth Dog Grooming!

REDEEMED: I took my Australian Shepherd to get his hair cut and the original groomer did not do her job to the best of her ability. Request were not followed and the hair cut did not look like it was hardly done. BUTTT the manger of this grooming contacted me personally not even a week later to correct this mistake. She showed a lot of remorse and concern about my unsatisfied services. She went above and beyond to correct this issue and made sure to keep the original groomer accountable for their actions along with redoing the entire haircut herself the correct way! She showed how much her clientele means to her and her business and I respected that. Very happy with the new haircut and services I received here!

Phoebe has had quite a bit of anxiety when it comes to her feet being groomed, and Chris and her team have been so patient with her! My fiance and I have been taking our Cavapoo here for the past few months, they do very well with long hair/curly hair dogs, and we have never been disappointed! We have received lots of compliments, and they don't cut it too short, which seems to happen often at other groomers.

I took my dog Eevee here for the first time to get her nails clipped. She can be pretty nervous and these kinds of situations but the staff was very accommodating and we're willing to take me in with almost no notice. The price is at a great point, the staff is great, the facility is clean, and I will definitely be coming back here.
