Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people! They are all so knowledgeable and kind. I had rescued a leopard gecko who was in rough condition that needed some extra love and care. They welcomed her in with open arms. The way they care for their animals is outstanding and they have all my respect because of it. Overall a great experience. Such a great place to support! Definitely check it out.

Stumbled upon this place after eating pho next door. What a cool experience!!! I have never seen so many cold blooded species in my life! They had the coolest snakes, tarantulas, lizards, turtles, etc. Cameron was so knowledgeable about all of the animals. I believe we stumbled in on his lunch break but he was so kind to answer all of our questions! He didn’t make us feel like we inconveniencing him- even though I believe it was pretty apparent we weren’t going to be making a purchase. We mentioned that we need to bring the kids by because of how cool the experience was and he told us all about their birthday parties and tours that they offer. We had a blast, learned so much, and can’t way to come back. Thank you Cameron for making our stop in such a great time!!

This is an amazing store for reptile and unique pets... The selection is unreal with staff who will answer all of your 7 year olds questions 😁. They even pulled out the axolotl out for us to see! When the kido is a little older this is where we will be getting a lizard. Another amazing thing they do is take in rescue lizards and snakes that could not be taken care.

My girlfriend and i keep reptiles and inverts both and we’re in the area and looking to just pop in and look at their inventory of critters and we stumbled across Cold Blooded and Bizarre. We were absolutely in love from the moment we came in. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and actually cared about the animals- of which all were well fed and clean and maintained- as was the store, which is usually not the case in this hobby to find SO MANY species- all clean and actually being CARED for. Their inventory wasn’t covered in years of dust or looking like something that fell off of an overstock truck in 1989. They had all the brands i look for- even “Josh’s Frogs” brand in-stock, in store. I’ve never seen that outside of Repticon. Their invert collection was top notch and had dozens of T’s and true spiders, from slings to adults. I was just going to browse but a staff member named Maggie talked me into walking out with two new spiders and i couldn’t be happier. I will be back, for sure. This will become our new go-to shop even with it being over an hour from our house.

The wildest reptile pet shop you'll ever visit - and also the BEST! We purchased our bearded dragon, Bronze, here in summer 2022 so we are in every few weeks for food, and to ask occasional questions. All the employees know what they're talking about and are very helpful. You gotta check this place out - as the name says, it's bizarre (in a great way)!

Cold Blooded and Bizarre was an Amazing place to visit, I really was fascinated with seeing Rock n' Roll the two headed corn snake, didn't get to take a picture because their cute selves was hiding underneath their rock, it was an amazing experience though, not your ordinary pet shop for sure 🤭😆!!!

The men were so nice. They took the time to teach my kids between a turtle and tortoise. My daughter is obsessed with bearded dragons and they allowed her to pet one.

A friend of mine had a rat snake stuck in a glue trap and I called all over town looking for a snake or reptile rescue. I got the snake in a box and brought it into cold blooded and bizarre. They were able to free the snake and are going to rehab it until it sheds all the glue off. We are so happy that we were able to help the little snake. I’m so glad to know that this resource for snake/reptile rescue exists in town. I will definitely be calling them next time we have a venomous snake in our yard or any other reptile needs.

I was at repticon this past weekend my 4 yr old picked out a cuban false chameleon from another vendor unfortunately, but I went to cold blooded and Bizarre and Michael took the time to hydrate our new family member and educated us, and helped us get everything we needed for him, needless to say I will be buying all my new reptiles and supplies from Michael at cold blooded and Bizarre. Highly recommend

I came in as a first time to check out this place as it’s been on my list for quite a while. I brought in my kiddo and I was super impressed by Maggie who works in store. Maggie was extremely helpful, educational and had a wonderful personality. We were blown away by all the variety of reptiles in the store. We can’t wait to come back in.

Stopped in today to grab some pinkies. Store was awesome, Patrick assisted us and was very helpful and just overall an amazing staff member! Store was clean and well kept, all animals were lively and well taken care of. Staff is more than willing to answer any questions you may have! We signed up for an in-store birthday in March for my son who turned 7. Cameron was the person who showed us the reptiles and he was fantastic with the kids. They were asking to go back the next day because they loved the experience. It was definitely a better experience for up close encounters and we learned a lot.

Today we were helped by a young african American gentleman of which we didn’t catch the name. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. He took out multiple snakes for us to hold and described them to us in detail. All in all had a great experience and we were so thankful for his help! we will definitely be coming back to make our purchase for a future python here!

I visited this place for the first time today, and ended up spending a lot of time enjoying the wonderful, interesting and inviting atmosphere. Michael is absolutely amazing and happily wanted to talk to us about all the lovely creatures they have in their care. We will definitely be back.

We had visited a few days ago, just to take a peek inside. It was amazing! Imagine being a kid in a candy store…that’s exactly what it felt like. There was so much to look at, the employees were very knowledgeable and were very patient with us despite our questions. They also clearly care about the animals in the store, as they handle them with such gentle care, it can’t help but make you want to purchase something. They have everything from geckos,, ball pythons, bearded dragons, frogs, turtles, tarantulas—even skinks (how many places do you know that have those?) and each animal looked extremely well cared for. We will definitely be coming back!

After doing research into the ethics regarding reptile breeding and selling, I was pointed towards Cold Blooded & Bizarre for their ethical handling of their animals. I am very pleased with my experience at Cold Blooded & Bizarre. Connor and Teagan were incredibly supportive and educational for a reptile newbie. Both spent a fair amount of time answering my questions and making sure I had the information I needed before making a purchase. Excited for our new family member!

Decided to visit this shop while on a work trip in North Carolina. By FAR the coolest reptile center I have ever seen! Not only do they have an incredible assortment of species, they are a refuge for for injured & surrendered reptiles as well. Every single staff member was kind, well-informed, and really took time to answer questions and tell us about the animals. Big shout out to Mike! He was fantastic, we took him all over the store and he was so generous the entire time. We even got to meet Rock-n-Roll! The most incredible snake I have ever met. You can feel how much everybody cares and I think that's so important. Amazing place, so happy to have gotten to see it! Thank you Cold Blooded & Bizarre!

This is one of my favorite shops to go to. There's never a shortage of interesting critters, creatures and oddities. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Will helped us out yesterday with our tarantula and was very patient with all of the questions I had. He walked is through all of our options and never made it feel like we were being a burden. It also happens to be right beside the best pho shop in town and makes for a fun outting.

They primarily have rescued or abandoned animals, which I find to be awesome that they are giving them a second chance at a home. I didn't inquire about an animal, but it looks like they screen potential adoptors for proper setups. They have a truly broad and beautiful collection of animals, with some absolutely huge specimens. They also have such a cool selection of skulls/bones/oddities.

I've visited Cold Blooded and Bizarre many times and have always had an amazing experience. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about reptiles. They are more than happy to answer any questions you have. Because of the Critter Crew, I was able to find a wonderful local vet for my tortoise, as well as find more information on husbandry that I never would have had otherwise. I couldn't recommend this place more!

This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a pet store. My son was promised a bearded dragon for Christmas and we decided we would go here to finish out the enclosure and buy it. We worked with Rachel. She was absolutely amazing. It was more like working with a PhD zookeeper than someone at most pet stores. Amazing resource. The lizard my son bought was as healthy as could be complete with vet records. Prices were very reasonable as well! I had several questions the next few days and every time I called she was just as helpful. There isn’t a better reptile store anywhere!

We had a great experience today with Rachel! We came in looking for female leopard geckos and she jumped right in asking about what our goals were. She then matched us perfectly to these beautiful ladies that she raised. She was very knowledgeable and shared her experiences with here own breeding hobby. We really appreciated her insights as we journey into breeding leopard geckos.The store itself is nice and full of really awesome animals and supplies. It can get cramped when the shop is busy, it's not a big box store so don't go in with that expectation. The parking lot will be full during meal times as it's in a small plaza surrounded by restaurants.

I'm glad to have found this place! They have all the feeder insects you could need and they are much fresher than the chain stores at a great price! I feel better about feeding my dragon these bugs. They also have an amazing selection of reptiles in the store. Will surely be back!

We’ve gotten two very healthy corn snakes here. They have a great selection and everything that you need to get set up with your new buddy or restock for existing ones. The service is always great and the staff is knowledgeable. We love this place!

This place is the coolest shop on earth. The staff is great and caring for their animals, they have so much to see and experience all for free, you can use a quarter and feed some turtles or you have the option to purchase said turtle! It's a zoo mixed with a pet store and it's fantastic. The staff was amazing, one of the guys offered to show my roommates and I how they feed Rico and it was the highlight of my week. Y'all rock. Btw, thanks for the cave recommendation in Puerto Rico💪🇵🇷
