This vet has always been amazing when it comes to my senior cats. The staff is friendly and understanding. My only complaint is their lack of availability. If I need to make an appointment sometimes they won’t have anything open for three weeks at least, which is a long time when you’re worried about your pet! If they were to get more doctors on staff or figure out how to increase availability so making an appt didn’t take weeks, I would easily give this place 5 stars!

I think they do a great job. The people in the IKEA office know my dogs name and that makes me think they care a little more. They never rush me, answer my questions and explain to me exactly what they've done during my dog's appointment.

For 10 years, have had 2 of our dogs well cared for, treated, monitored, and loved from pup to adult.Even when moved for a few years we drove 30 min to this location instead of a closer oneAlways diligent on medications, surgeries, appointments, and routine preventatives.Most importantly, the staff is very accommodating to above average problems beyond their duties, while communicating professionally.They've even saved us from a last minute emergency, of which they had no obligation to but took on the burden. Definitely seals the deal with our loyalty here :DThank you to all the doctors, nurses, technicians, and staff for your hard work!

Love this place!! Great staff and vets, also I definitely recommend the wellness plan. Having no appointment fees makes me worry way less about what qualifies for a vet visit, because I know they aren’t just trying to take my money. My first year with them isn’t even over and I’ve already saved 796$ on lab work, meds, appointments, and treatments!

My service today with unsatisfactory and a poor representation of Banfield. My puppy was dropped off at 8 AM this morning ( we were the first to check in) with swollen eyes and a few bumps on his forehead at 2 PM when I had not received a call, I decided to call them. The front desk clerk told me he has still not been seen & the doctor would call me as soon as they were done. By 330 I still had not received a call so I went to pick him up when I got there his eyes were still swollen and now he was covered with bumps all over, the excuse for not calling me to get instructions on a treatment earlier in the day was because they were busy! The paperwork says my dog had a fever of 102 and They have a sign behind their desk that says sick and injured patients will be seen first so can anyone tell me why it took all day for my puppy to be seen ? Or why I wasn’t called to give authorization for treatment? Or why you would let a dog sit in a crate all day who symptoms worsen over time without treatment?

I've been paying $40+/mo for almost 5 years for my cat's Wellness plan. I understand that this does not cover emergencies, but at least I would expect to have some help finding a location where they can check my cat. I usually go to Afton or Harrisburg- they are packed! Clearly, because they have good staff. I called this location to see when they had availability, and the receptionists were incredible, disregarding my pet needs. Don't even use full words to answer my questions, only ahem, naaa. I have severe doubts about paying my 2 cats' wellness plans when we were supposed to be clients and have this treatment. If Banfield wants to fact-check me, you are supposed to record calls, right?I will follow up later on my story with what happened when someone with not English accent like mine called for an appointment,

They uphold the (high) banfield standard of service, just like the rest of the locations I've been to. Although it took 2 visits and at least 5 staff members, with patience and efficiency they were able to trim the nails of my terrified and wiggly pit bull. Their wellness plans are worth it to me, mostly due to the level of service given.

I have an 89 lb rotten dog who is family. She was treated by a very nurturing staff and vet. I don't usually do drop offs, but when I picked her up she was calm. I received a call the next morning checking to see how she was doing. Thanks 😊 for taking care of our Mali. She's much better.

I’ve had multiple issues here throughout my time with them. Including misdiagnosis, not preforming a service my dog was brought in for, and canceling appointments the day before with no other reason than “we can’t do it”. Dumpster fire of a location…

I want to give a shout out to Dr. Davis! The last time my dog Prince was sick I was told they had no more drop off appointments available but Dr. Davis still took him anyway! This location has outstanding customer service and the receptionist who normally leaves recorded messages on their phone is awesome as well! They are always patient and never give up trying to find out what’s going on with my dog.I recommend this banfield location.

I had the same experience as another customer. My dog was getting his teeth cleaned and when I got him back, there was a cut on his back which I did not notice until we got home. I also Had to put hydrogen peroxide on the cut in order for it to not get infected. The cut was on his back which was strange. It also looked like a blade cut.

Very unsatisfied with my experience. Scheduled an appt during the pandemic, which I understand would be hectic, but I waited over 5 hours to make sure my cat's eye wasn't affected. (The entire time, I witnessed pet appointments scheduled after mine finish before my cat was released.) On top of that, a misunderstanding made the store supervisor unnecessarily watch over me while I waited the 5 hours for my cat to be released. Felt very uncomfortable and very unwelcome throughout the entire time. Wasn't even worth the free vet visit. Will not be returning--neither for vet nor for store purposes.

Took my baby here for his first check up. I had to drop him off so I’m not sure if he got all the treatment I paid for. He screamed out in pain several times the night of his appointment and even laid motionless for a few minutes. It scared us so bad. We still don’t know what happened. I have mixed feelings about this experience.

Please get a second opinion. I'm rating this location a 2 because the staff have always been extremely friendly over the past 3 yrs. The reason I am leaving my first review ever, is to caution everyone to get a second opinion from any diagnoses from this location. I have had constant visits to this location for a diagnoses of "pink eye" which after going to another location... the resulted is my dog almost losing his eye from an ulcer due to slight entropion. Please get another opinion, because I waited too long trusting in "experts" to take care of my pup.

I've been paying $40+/mo for almost 9 years for my dog's Wellness plan. I called Saturday morning because my dog was limping and was told there are no appointments until Monday because there's only one doctor working. Sorry I couldn't plan my dog's injury to suit your schedule. Cancelling ASAP.

I have been using Banfield for both my dogs for over 7 years. I just moved to Charlotte from California. I loved our Banfield in California and my dogs did too so I was very nervous about starting new at this Banfield in Charlotte. They exceeded all my expectations and more. I was treated with such friendliness and they welcomed us with open arms. Most importantly my dogs loved them Dr Goodnight, Jennifer, Rhonda and Cecilia are awesome in fact the entire staff does!!!!! I highly recommend this Banfield for all your fur babies!!! Thank you all for making a big move for not only me but my babies you guys ROCK!!!!!!!

Very unprofessional. My canine’s medication was cut into fourths they said but today when I looked at it most of the tablets are crushed ! I didn’t open the vial till today because I needed this medication for a trip and he shall only drink it as needed. When I arrived for his appt i got told that because I made the appt for 330pm and it’s too late the consultation is going to be rushed basically due to them closing at 5. If 330pm is too late for an appt why have that option on the website ? Also online it stated that the first visit is free and that is false since I did end up paying for horrible service .

It's all curbside pickup nowadays. They came to pick up my cat and I waited in the car. After a while the doctor called me and gave me a report. About 10 min later I was called to go in to pay and pick my pet. Pretty painless.

I called this morning while I was on the way to another pets mart to have my cat groomed. I spoke with a lady Named Rhonda, and I asked her when my cat’s rabies were due. She told me December. I then asked her if there was anything else and she told me that my cat was up to date. When I got to the other pets mart they informed me that the rabies expired and then called Rhonda themselves and she told them that she told me that my cat was due for everything. It’s very unprofessional of her to tell me something different and waste my time going to get my cat groomed. I record all of my phone calls because I have a business and I have her recorded saying this. She also told me she was the manager.

PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR PETS BEFORE LEAVING THE BUILDING! I recently dropped off my baby for his annual check up on 4/4/21. I knew he would be a little "off" from the anesthesia and did not want to bother him. I noticed he was tucking in his right arm a lot throughout the day but I figured it was from the needle. I saw these cuts on his arm near the injection site today. It appears as if they were caused from blades when shaving the area due to carelessness or malpractice. The other side is fine and has no cuts. There is no way this can be justified. The cuts are now scabbing and I'm hoping they heal soon. I could've at least been notified or maybe had his arm bandaged to avoid infection. I haven't even had this experience at the groomers and definitely didn't expect this from Banfield where he is supposed to be safe and in good hands.*Pictures included*

Had to have my kitty euthanized due to injuries sustained during a pit bull attack. These folks were the epitome of compassionate and professional. They helped my family through one of the worst experiences we've ever survived. Five plus plus plus stars!

Absolutely the worst Banfield in town, I went in with a sick cat and left with a sick cat without even letting them see her because of how unprofessional and disrespectful the front staff is. Do not recommend this location, I will stick with the amazing Harrisburg location even if I have to wait for an opening.

Several years ago, they misdiagnosed my daughters dog with disc disease....I was pet sitting while she was out of the country for a college course. I had to rush him to emergency specialty clinic in Greensbiro, HE FREAKING HAD MENNEGITIS , and after spending thousands to try to save her precious pups life, he died, and my husband had to call to tell her, because I was so freaking upset throwing up violently, the vet called ambulance to take me to the ER., I couldn't call. Prior to all this happening, her dog started having problems with his hind legs, but also had been treated for skin issues recently. My daughter kept expressing her concerns to them, and telling all of the dog's symptoms, but EVERY time she took him in. Her dog saw a different vet!! You would think the notes from each vet would be reviewed at each visit, however ibviously, this was NOT the case! Her poor baby suffered horribly, was scared and it is UNFORGIVABLE what Banfield did to my daughters dog. Then they had the freaking nerve to keep trying to get money from her!! They should repay us for all the money we spent trying to save him!!!

Worst experience, terrible service... i made an appointment at 9:45am and brought my dog and at 3:30pm the doctor had not seen my dog yet... why make an appointment, if you are going to have you dog locked up for 5 hours for nothing.also when i picked her up, they delivered her dirty and smelling of urine... very bad
