My dog got the best hair cut she has ever had at Wolfgang. The shampoos and conditioner was the best as well. Her hair is soft and much less tangled after a couple of weeks. I’ve received tons of compliments on how cute she looks. I had no idea, after a year at another groomer, that she could look this good. These people are the best.

Thank you Woof Gang Chape Hilll for being so involved in our community! Organizing Pictures with Santa with you all was a blast! Thank you for giving the proceeds to Orange County Animal Service. They will go to our medical program. Woof Gang Chapel Hill have been nothing but gracious. Rocco and Melissa the owners have the best attitude, always look for more to do around the community and it translates to the staff. Shoutout to Leah for helping us out with our printer machine! Their staff is super attentive, detail-oriented, and just amazing to be around. The facility was beautiful, well organized, and clean. Thank you for all you do and I can’t wait to see what is next to help our community and what great fundraisers we can do with Woof Gang and OCAS!!

Highly recommend! Cute shop with variety of tasty treats for your furry animal. Has the best staff who are accommodating and professional. Most places try to muzzle my dog before trimming his nails but here they will comfort your dog and only use the muzzle as a last resort. Thank you for taking such great care of my puppy!

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is a business I highly recommend, based both on personal and community experience.I initially reached out to this Wolfgang Grooming & Bakery in hopes to form a partnership with a neighborhood Halloween pet costume contest. As Vice President of the HOA, I wanted to connect our residents with local businesses, and Wood Gang is conveniently located right off 54 in Chapel Hill. Upon reaching out, the owner Rocco responded fast and was extremely enthusiastic about sponsoring our contest! He volunteered a beautiful gift basket plus treat bags for all the dogs in our neighborhood, which was beyond what I had even hoped for!When going into the business to pick up the prizes, I met his wife Melissa. The store is very upscale and had a large selection of dog treats, chews, and toys. She offered extremely helpful advice on appropriate chews for my puppy, even more helpful than our vet was. The store had a lot of products I haven’t seen at other dog stores in the area, and with a new puppy I’ve visited them all! Not only will I be returning often to pickup products for my puppy, I am also looking forward to using their grooming services once my pup is fully vaccinated.I can’t recommend this business more! All of my neighbor’s dogs loved the treats we gave out, and the extravagant gift basket has everyone envious of the winner! The owners Rocco and Melissa are extremely passionate about animals and an asset to the community. Give this place a try!

Woofgang is the best dog grooming in the chapel hill area. Very efficient friendly. I was really anxious as my dog doesn’t like being groomed but they made it seamless. Got me in and out quickly and Rosie my little dog looked great. They were very reassuring and understood my concerns and more than made my dog feel safe I have found my grooming salon! I can’t thank you enough! I give 10 stars to Woofgang!

My 11 year old golden doodle just had the best grooming experience ever! He’s been groomed many times but usually comes from grooming shaking and nervous - today he came out from grooming very happy. He went in a matted mess and they worked miracles, and did it very quickly so he wasn’t stressed. I can’t thank Woof Gang Chapel Hill enough for a great experience!

This place is wonderful - we had a hard time finding a groomer for our new puppy and they went above and beyond to make sure she had a positive experience, and always do a great job (even for a spazzy puppy!) The store is so cute and has plenty of treats, toys and accessories and the staff is so accommodating. We never leave empty handed. Would highly recommend this place for all things doggo!

I took my five-pound miniature poodle in for an express groom with Christa last week and he came out looking so cute and smelled amazing! They handled him with extra care because he's a senior citizen (almost 13...) I will definitely bring him back in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about Woof Gang Chapel Hill with its new ownership. I have been struggling for 3 years to find someone who would seasonally groom/de-shed my Great Pyrenees, since we moved to Chapel Hill. He had been a regular at Woof Gang for awhile to get his nails trimmed, but under the previous ownership they wouldn't groom big dogs. The new owner set us up with a full grooming appointment. I expected it to be very expensive and take a long time, but he was ready 1.5 hours later. I have never seen him so well groomed, he has barely shed at all the last couple months, because they did such a great job. Loki also seemed to really like his groomer, he's excited to see her when goes in for nail trims. I will never go anywhere else.

Our newly rescued small dog that we had taken to the beach--matted and coat had gotten shaggy. She looks like a new dog now. I was concerned that she might be apprehensive, but the groomer was so nice and our dog was quite calm when we picked her up. Will certainly continue to use Woof Gang Grooming--a totally wonderful experience! We are experienced dog owners and know when a dog has a calm grooming.

Was wonderful to be able up w as pm in and have nails, teeth and glands done quickly. My basset hounds were very happy and loved the little store also. Groomers were very pleasant and the dogs seemed very happy.

I took my calm and timid border terrier mix to get groomed here, it was not the worst experience, he was well taken care of, but the haircut is not the quality I was expecting for the money I spent. It was $85, for a 25 pound dog, who only got a bath, nail trim, and hair trim (which looks very amateur). I also had to pay a $40 deposit. Other groomers quoted me between $50 and $70 and no deposit required, which would have been reasonable considering I could give him the same quality haircut at home.The first picture of him on the gray blanket is the cut from Woof Gang, which is not the worst but not the best. The second photo is what I did myself at home with a pair of trimmers that are not even meant for dogs and I didn’t have a guard so considering that you’d think I’d be getting a much better grooming for $85.

Fantastic experience. We’ve got an anxious cocker spaniel but they were patient with him and very reassuring. He came out very quickly with a clean new shave and squeaky clean. Great communication as well - they texted updates when he was done and gave a report card of how he did / any health problems they noticed (fortunately there were none). Definitely our new go-to groomer.

I love this business! The name is funny. The staff is friendly and helpful. My dog is comfortable going here for a haircut, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and nail trim. I buy some dog food here, that my dog loves. They will deliver the food if you like. We have two adorable collars that we bought at Woof Gang’s. This place is the ultimate for your pets grooming, eating and walking needs.

We have been long time customers of Woof Gang Chapel Hill, and have taken our pups there since it opened over 8 years ago. Jung ran this operation seamlessly, was so accommodating and went above and beyond for his customers, treating us like family. We couldn’t have raved more about this business at the time. However, new owners took over at the beginning of 2023 and this business has gone down hill fast. When the new owners took over, they were double booking appointments, cancelling last minute only to offer a rescheduled date of a month out, and were rude and unresponsive. On one event in particular, they contacted us late on a Saturday afternoon and demanded we provide rabies verification for one of our pups within the hour or they would cancel our appointment (our appointment was two weeks from that date so this was unnecessary and a sign they most likely double booked us again; they also already had this info on file). They ended up cancelling our appointment even though we were able to re-send over the documentation requested within an hour. We were frustrated by everything, but we continued to wait it out in hopes that once they got their feet grounded with the business, things would run smoother and more professionally. We also were more accommodating to all of the mishaps and requests, because our senior pup is familiar with the grooming environment at this location. Recently, they started having concerns with our senior pup being tired during her appointments (she is 14). They requested we sign a senior dog form, which we did, and then requested we get a note from the vet stating that she can get groomed. Our vet was confused by this as in their 30 years of operating they had not received a request similar to this, as getting a pet groomed is at the discretion of the owner, and the reason of being tired did not make sense. Our vet asked us to reach back out to Woof Gang to see if a specific incident happened aside from our pup being tired and both Melissa and Rocco assured us that being tired was their only concern. Melissa relayed if we got the note from our vet they would move forward and groom. We took time out of several days to speak to Woof Gang, and the Vet, and even after we provided a letter from the Vet indicating that our pup is in good health and is perfectly fine being groomed Woof Gang has now refused to groom our senior pup. The new reasoning is that they have younger employees, and they don’t want them to experience a senior pup dying while being groomed. I understand the concern, but the reasoning keeps changing and my senior girl is far from dying. This is extremely upsetting that they would insinuate that she is. I am disappointed, as they could have handled this a lot more professionally and delicately, but handled it poorly. I will not be taking my senior girl or other 2 pups back to Woof Gang Chapel Hill and do not recommend them. Be aware that even if you are a long time loyal customer you could face future discrimination once your pup gets to their senior years and given the run around as well.

We have tried a handful of groomers in the chapel hill area, trying to find the right one. we should have started at Woof gang! Christa did a wonderful job on our golden doodle. We asked for the teddy bear hair cut and she did it so perfectly. We will definitely be going back.
