We love the Green Beagle Lodge! So far, we have only done the occasional Saturday of doggie daycare, but we take comfort in knowing that our 9 month old puppy loves going and is well and truly tired out when we pick him up. We really appreciated the half day assessment requirement before becoming a client. It helped us understand how well socialized our pup is and what we can improve upon. It also gave us some great peace of mind knowing that he was going to be amongst dogs who had the same temperament testing before being able to do the off leash, group play. The staff are really wonderful with the dogs and you can tell they have a passion for animals. Photo of a very happy puppy at daycare. Definitely check them out!

Would like to give a shout to Alissa at Green Beagle Lodge for being the best groomer my dogs and I have worked with. And this is the case while Alissa was completing her training! I think the key is her communication skills. She inquires, listens, and really looks to implement what the dog owner wants. She is clearly good with dogs because one of mine is high on the jumpy scale and had a good bit of knots that I couldn't get near, while Alissa gave her a great haircut.

I've been sending my dog to daycare at Green Beagle Lodge for over a year now. He is beyond excited whenever he arrives, and leaves happy and exhausted. I know that the staff give him the best of care, and I would recommend Green Beagle to anyone without hesitation.

The Green Beagle Chapel Hill staff are incredibly kind, professional and thorough. We can leave our dogs and be certain they'll be very well cared for during their stay. The facility is very clean and the outdoor areas are large and well maintained. Ruby (our lab) is especially thrilled that she can swim in the pool til her heart's content.

The running spaces are huge! The dogs have their own 4 by 6 foot kennel and get special diets prepared in the mornings and at night! They have a swimming pool and a football fields and their potty needs are met early in the day and before bedtime! I will definitely be boarding my 🐕 dog there whenever I need a sitter!

Green Beagle CH has the best groomer! Every time I leave my over 100 lb fluffy dog I know she’s in the best hands. My pup is excited to see Jennifer and loves being with her. She has the best grooming skills, experience, and really listens to how you want your pup groomed. It’s amazing how she gets my pup looking so beautiful after each grooming. Jennifer also gives my girl loads of brushing with loving expertise and my big girl still has the softest hair weeks later. People always think we just had her groomed but nope, just have a great groomer. We love the friendly caring people at Green Beagle.

My almost 7-year-old Yorkie absolutely loves the Green Beagle Lodge! From the moment I start packing her bag, to the drive to the lodge, to getting out of the car and entering the facility she is on 10---wagging her tail, panting, jumping up and down and just very happy. In fact, she doesn't even bother to say good-bye to me--she goes from my arms into the staff's arms and I couldn't be happier for her. Knowing that my dog will get the very best care while we're apart enables me to travel for business and personal reasons with ease. Thank you, Green Beagle Lodge, for the exceptional love, care and consistency demonstrated towards my dog and for maintaining such a wonderful, loving environment for the dogs and cats entrusted to your care.

Our Dog had a wonderful time here with both boarding and day care. He actively gets excited to get in the car to head over, and positively flies out of the car to go inside. We got many helpful updates about how he was doing while he was boarding there and they took excellent care of him while there. We also got lovely photo updates!

Our high energy dog loves going to G.B.! She plays and gets lots of snuggles, pets, and interactions. We love the reports and pictures they provide. She also gets groomed so she is sweet and clean when we pick her up! Many thanks to the terrific staff!

We adopted our pup about a year ago in the pandemic. The rescue we got him from had very little info about him, and he ended up being much higher energy than we expected (especially for our first dog!). Not having a backyard was tough despite 3 walks a day, so we looked into daycare options very early on. Green Beagle was highly recommended by one of our friends. Having that space for Otis to run around off leash was a game changer for us & allowed us to make it work. He loves everyone at Green Beagle and is always SO excited to be there. When we are out of town, we also board him there and know he’s in good hands and is having a blast.We started with a half day weekly and he now goes twice a week, which is the perfect amount of time to keep this energetic, athletic pup from any destructive behaviors in the house while we are working but also not overly stimulated. We also love looking through the daily pictures from when he’s at daycare to see if we can spot him playing.As with any daycare (for kids or pets), he gets an illness going around occasionally & has gotten an injury but they let us know immediately and we were able to get him stitched up. Not getting that pent up energy out while he recovered was the tough part, so it’s still well worth it for us.Scheduling is tough unless you book well in advance, but it makes sense because of their great staff, facilities, and just the way they do things (grouping dogs by size/energy, dog to staff ratio, naps, rotating through yards). Hopefully they can expand to fit the demand because they’re awesome!

Green Beagle Lodge is the BEST! I'm always anxious about leaving our quirky dog, but GBL quickly sets my mind at ease every time he boards with them. If there are any issues, (in our case, an unsettled tummy) they text you with suggestions of next steps, and they always keep you updated with detailed notes, progress and photos. Its clear our dog has a wonderful visit every time, and I fully trust that he is always receiving the best care and attention from the GBL staff. We are very fortunate to have GBL in our community!

My hound boy absolutely adores Green Beagle Lodge. I boarded him for a week over Thanksgiving, and it feels so good to me that he gets excited about going! He recognizes the name when I say that's where we're headed and he starts barking (a little annoying:) with enthusiasm the whole way there. No guilt at leaving him whatsoever, and he always has a great time with his dog and people friends at the Lodge.GB as we call it couldn't be more professional in their service and more loving with the animals. I jokingly, or maybe honestly, tell friends that I hope to go there for a vacation myself sometime. Thank you, Green Beagle, for all that you provide for my beloved hound!!!

GBL is a safe, transparent, well-staffed and flexible dog boarding/daycare center. They gave my dog a thorough assessment to make sure that he would be comfortable boarding, and discussed what training areas we could work on. During his boarding stay, we got plenty of pictures and a personalized report of how he was doing, including the friends he made, which made my worried self feel much better. :) attached is my dog sleeping in the pool - spoiled rotten.When I picked him up after a 3 day board, he wasn't stressed at all and clearly loved the staff he was hanging out with!As soon as we got home, they sent an email out about how the dogs boarded may have been exposed to bordatella, which is sort of like the common cold. If you send your kids to daycare, you can assume they'll probably catch something, right? GBL gave a detailed description of what to look for, although dates the exposed dogs were there may have been useful info. :)I appreciate the open communication and how much they care about dogs, both at daycare and overall! And how tired my dog was after daycare!One thing that I talked with the owner about is that they use balanced (positive and negative reinforcement) training for their dogs. If you care about using purely positive reinforcement training like i do, I would mention that if you are looking for training here and see if they can accommodate that!

Everybody at Green Beagle Lodge was incredibly helpful, supportive and kind as we worked through the requirements for our new rescue dog, to submit his health records and get him in for a much-needed first grooming visit. Bella loves going to day care and playing with all her friends. And i have to go out town she definitely prefera lodging to boarding.The staff is very knowledgeable about dogs and have help with her learning to not jump on (give hugs) to every person she meets.The best thing in can say is I trust them and Bella has fun.

This was my first time using Green Beagle; I boarded my 11 yo GSH for 5 nights. I was very impressed by the texts I received all week on their observations. Green Beagle is such a beautiful place filled with caring staff that go above and beyond for our beloved fur babies! My sweet Loki has been kenneling with them for 2 years, getting lots of love and attention. When I go on vacation or travel for work, I never have to worry if Loki is happy or sad, they love him as if he was their own!
