It’s expensive and it’s not the cleanest of stores but it’s a small town general store. Convenience comes with a price. Staff was super nice and friendly. They got what you need.Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the drinks in the fridge were warm.

Great store, way better than the dollar general in Sealevel. They had more food selection including sour cream, butter, ice cream, fresh produce, beer as well as basically anything else you might need. They even had meat and oysters. Price was comparable to a normal grocery store in Ohio. Next time we come, i wont pack as much to bring :)

I totally love this little store,it is cleanly and neatly packed full of all things needed for every and anything you could ever need or want. I love the island and the people in the store are so helpful and the best service for a man and pa business.

Can’t say enough nice things about this place. The clerk (I wish I could remember his name, he’s an older gentleman.) was very friendly and they are well stocked.This place will always have my business while I’m in Cedar Island. My wallet fell off the top of my car and some kind folks (I wish I knew who they were) collected my wallet and all of its contents from the street and brought it here. The nice folks at Islands Choice then promptly got ahold of us before I even realized the wallet was missing and of course everything was in its place. Wonderful people at this convenience store and in this awesome little community.Those complaining about prices need to understand that this is apart of an extremely remote community and almost all everyday commodities must be shipped in (including fuel). Hence the elevated prices.

Do not spend your money here. I try to support local businesses, but I'll not make this mistake twice. Remember to gas up and bring food from elsewhere before you head to the Cedar Island Ferry. Microwave sandwiches were gross. The place was dirty. Had a bad feeling as I entered. Should have left immediately. Lesson learned. Plan ahead, folks. 😬

Very nice and clean campground. Fishing. Boat ramp. Store across road. Owners very nice and friendly. If You are looking to get away this is the place. Close to beach ferry access to Ocrakoke we wil be back

Great place to get any and all the supplies you need for your vacation or day trip. They now have gas pumps so everything from chips and drinks to fuel and boat/fishing supplies. Don't forget the hand dipped ice cream.

The customer service was excellent!! The store was very clean, cleanest bathrooms I’ve been in at any store and they have everything you need in one cute little shop.
