Savanna is the most amazing customer service centric person I have EVER encountered in the service industry in all of my food/wine/beverage experienced hands down. This young gal performs like a vested owner, speaks and relates to clients like a true trained professional that actually care about your experience in this establishment. The most amazing handcrafted beverage maker and beyond an expert when it comes to tinned fish. The selection of wine, cider, beer and so much more!!This is our 3rd trip in 2 months and this will be our go to local stop due all of the listed and especially Savanna! The environment is intoxicating and beyond l lovely. Perfectly curated and superbly managed and hosted by the amazing Savanna.I have never found more of selection of tinned fishes and seafood 🌊 🐠in my entire life. This place is a a hidden gem right in the breather path. Stop in and ask for Savanna, you won’t be sorry! Thanks For the decadent experiences Botanist and Barrel!Loyally local, Georg and Miranda-ā¤ļø

"less is more" cider- interesting taste. I love this hidden gem. Plenty of outdoor seating and igloo rental. Will definitely be back in the spring to try out their other goodies.

Brilliant is all I can say! The cider is light and smooth. The space is beautiful, quite, and hidden. You could almost miss it if you do not know where you are going and that is the charm! You can sit on a rainy day and enjoy every bit of the rain while relaxing. We most definitely will be back.

Good place if you have money to blow on $18-$27 flights and $9 ciders. Not the best in winter as it is primarily outdoors. Little hosting to know what to do and how to enjoy yourself there. Can be a turn off to first timers, otherwise the environment can be good for those who have money and can come regularly. Be hard to catch a buzz under $40. $25 for one sider and a half poured glass of wine. Trees need trimmed so you can safely leave. One thing that stuck with me was how arrogant the owner was when asked what was good. His response that ā€œi wouldn’t make it if it was not goodā€ stuck with me as the products were largely below par. A little too pious of a place and staff.

We had a phenomenal experience! This establishment supports local for ingredients for the wood-fried pizza, super tasty. They have a wide variety of ciders and snack options along with a few beer and wine choices. Outside seating only, live music, and a restroom. Plenty of parking. Perfect for date night, girls outing and more. Dress is laid back (extremely casual.) The people were amazing! This was my husband and I first time here, but it will not be our last.

I've driven past this location so many times and never stopped. I'm glad that changed today. This is truly a hidden gem just a 30 minute drive from Danville, VA. I was there for the NC Fermentation festival. The weather was awful and they had lost power but they took everything in stride. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I look forward to making the drive down again.

Located right on the property of Cedar Grove blueberry farms this is an excellent place to unwind and have a few beverages! Their selections of beers and ciders are lovely! They also have many non-alcoholic beverages for children! We love going to this place and enjoying the nice spring weather!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping here if you live in the area or are just passing through. One of the owners stopped what she was doing to give just 3 of us a cider/wine tasting . It was very interesting, informative and she was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back on one of their event days!!

Great spot for slow vibes, small snacks and good wine or ciders. I ordered the cider flight and the service knew what to pick for me. The charcuterie board does not disappoint. Mellow background music.

Such a cute place! Lots of ciders to choose from, loved the persimmon flavored one. Picked up some blueberries at the produce stand and enjoyed delicious slushies on the patio listening to live music.

Stopped in here after picking blueberries, we ordered a cider tasting flight. It was amazing I loved all of them, especially the Margarita one! We also got a charcuterie plate and all local ingredients. The soft Boxcar cheese was delish paired with the peppers and thin crackers.

Wanderlust struck, so I set forth meandering. While getting lost, I happened upon the B&B. Initially I assumed it was a gun range, but on further inspection I saw it was a fun range. Don't pass this little gem up with great drinks and greater company!

We had fantastic cider and great food on site. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We ended up taking a six pack of great tasting cider back home to Virginia. Fantastic place to stop on the weekend for a quick chill outside with family or friends.

The person working here that we interacted with was super nice and helpful, the seating area had many options with a good variety, and they had a lot of options in terms of drinks and food. This place is dog-friendly, has three flight options (two cider, one wine) as well as the ability to buy by the glass or bottle, allowed outside food, and the food offerings they provide are of the snacking nature (although you could easily make a meal out of their meat and cheese trays). The only downsides are that I don’t think they have any inside seating options so keep the weather in mind when planning a trip, and they make a lot of their wines and ciders in classic styles which I turned out not to be a fan of (I like ciders and wines like resiling and Malbec). This place is definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area and and their website/picture pique your curiosity.

We got two flights yesterday… one cider and one wine. They all tasted as if they went sour in a bad way and were room temperature which made me concerned. I love cider and wine and I’ve never tasted anything like that. We had to get up and leave them all basically full. We didn’t say anything to the owner because there was a line at the window and we didn’t want to wait. We ended up feeling a bit sick on our stomachs later last night. I’m giving two stars because the staff is super nice and welcoming and the environment is pretty cool.

Great natural cider, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Owner cooked amazing pizzas. Felt like I was hanging out in my backyard with a live bluegrass band. Loved it.

Best cider & winery I have ever tasted. And I have tasted a lot. Great friendly service and super knowledgeable staff and ownership. I highly recommend these ciders and wines to Michelin star restaurants. Botanist and Barrel offerings pair well with haute cuisine as well as a your backyard BBQ. Sample their fare. You will be delighted!

My absolute favorite local cider. Confident enough to make a wide variety of dry, complex, and unfiltered cider with local ingredients and wild yeast cultures. I love their collabs and creative approach to making cider. They always have something interesting to try that you couldnt get anywhere else. Another big bonus is that, usually, alcohol and wine give me headaches/migraines, but I've never had that problem with B&B!Excellent customer service as well! I had a local delivery order go awry, so I shot them an email about it. Called me the next day (a Sunday) to resolve the issue. Fantastic folks all around :)

It's hard to rate this place as it's different than most. The ciders are unexpectedly good and the outside seating is rustic. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Amazing experience! It feels like your hangingout in their living room and enjoying some amazing cider. I loved the sour blueberry cider. Amy and her husband were so hospitable and knowledgeable. The whole experience was very warm and cozy! great find you should definitely check it out!

What a delightful place to visit. It didn't take very long to get there and the blueberry bushes are huge! Another couple of weeks and the berries will really be ripe. There is plenty to pick now and it was wonderful to get out! Bring your own quart or gallon size bucket and get $1 off!

I don’t want to come off as a hater, but if your looking for good traditional wines and ciders don’t stop here. If your looking for old world (Northern European) experiences, not Spanish/Italian wines then you may be happy. I had a wine flight that was 2 reds, 2 whites. All were chilled. My wife had a flight of ciders, that she could not drink. They had a flavor of ginger root that had soured. Think stouts and meads verses cabs and Pinot Grigio.Read their website first not the online reviews.

Sweetest, not so-secret, secret in the area! New ciders always rolling out with delicious old school cider/wine processing techniques. The tasting room has charming ambiance and also great outdoor spaces! Kid friendly, pet friendly and just plain friendly! Love this place!!!

The ciders are good. There is no indoor sitting. There is some shaded seating but limited. My family and I went and enjoyed cider, blueberry picking and wildflower picking all in the same area.

Great place to hang out and enjoy a cold (or warm) drink. Tons of ciders, beers, and even a few wines to choose from (and non-alcoholic drinks of course). Snacks anyways and food truck sometimes. Picnic table seating with plenty of distance. The owners are often circulating about, checking and chatting on guests. It's a lovely atmosphere!
