Over price medication 5 antibiotics is 59.17 that is the discount price original 76.oo. I should of went to my regular pharmacy where i get my kids same antibiotics but i went closer to hospital i was leaving from. My Regular pharmacy charges 17.oo this was a really big difference in Price? Pharmacist said those are our Prices.she didn't offer to correct the price reimburse me. I can't afford CVS.Will not be back.CVS price gouge people.

I recently had to start working with this CVS rather than other ones in Wilmington due to a shortage. The pharmacy staff and retail staff at this store are much nicer than any of the other CVS's in Wilmington. Very helpful, very patient. I am planning on moving all of my prescriptions to this location because I have been very impressed with how I have been treated.

I usually never have a problem with this pharmacy but I always get the nice gentleman that has always helped. Today I got the VERY rude ladies. After being in the hospital for bad sickness due to be being pregnant and today I got moved to high risk so I was already having a rough day but I was politely asking for helping trying to find 2 of the new meds they want me to try the lady just huffed and rolled her eyes at me wouldn’t even look at the meds I was trying to find and then the other lady just said maybe someone up front can help but no one was up there. I’ve worked in a pharmacy before and I just can’t believe they would act that way to a customer that just needed help.

I've got to say it! I have been having my prescriptions filled at the Castle Hayne CVS for over 15 years. The people who work in the retail area are great but once you walk up to the gates of the pharmacy the mood of the place changes. I have never seen anyone there smile once they decide to walk up and help you. And once you do get their acknowledgement they act like you are keeping them from something. Like I am annoying them. I never walk from the pharmacy with a good feeling. Its a little concerning how no matter who helps you its always the same. Kind of like they train them to be that way. Which I am sure its not the case. I love the location but I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Avoid this pharmacy unless you like to be punished and walk away with an inferior complex.

Everyone in this store is always actively working. They do seem short staffed but unfortunately I am sure that is a corporate responsibility. You’re greeted at the door and everyone is helpful. We live in times when everyone expects immediate service, and honestly this is the busiest pharmacy I’ve ever seen. Be kind to those who work there. They obviously wear many hats.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. The final straw with this pharmacy: Ignorant pharmacist told me that because my Dr. was online it was illegal to fill the prescription. They have been filling the same script from same Dr. for the last 6 months! The most amazing part was that she decided to tell me this on the day I was supposed to pick it up, so I had to spend that Saturday in the emergency room. When I told pharmacist that I am going to have to go to E.R. she just shrugged and said sorry.Turns out after all that hassle the pharmacist was wrong or lying and once I got script sent to another pharmacy they were able to confirm she was had no clue what she was talking about. The store is great with great nice people it’s just the pharmacy that is unbelievably garbage.

This pharmacy is a joke. After dealing with them for a few months, it seems their MO is to "pretend" that just as you arrived to pick up your prescription, no matter if it was ordered days earlier, they had "just received it and it will be a while before it can be filled. 'Cause, you know, we're just swamped." Even though the place is empty and the drive through has no line. The level of unprofessionalism and callousness is stunning. One particular tech is quite rude, she likes to yell over her colleagues to correct them as they are speaking with patrons. On one particular occasion, my husband decided to wait the 10 mins the tech relayed that they would need to fill a script that had been called in the day before. She yelled over her colleague to my husband that they "are going on break in 10 mins and he'll have to come back later." So the 10 min time was a lie, they had no intention of filling the script in that timeframe. Astonishingly the other tech caved to the screaming colleague, so my husband left. She and the whole sorry group are extra special! We fired this bunch (which was probably what they wanted anyway) and went to Express Scripts for home delivery and auto refills through our insurance company, which is working perfectly. Save yourself the hassle and incompetence of this pharmacy and do the same! Then they will have more time to stand around and do nothing.

I have been using this pharmacy for over a decade, but I think I have finally had enough. This location seems to be chronically understaffed, and the staff they do have can't seem to offer any manner of consistent service. Top priority seems to be making things as unnecessarily complicated for their customers as possible. I am prescribed a controlled substance. No one wishes more than me that I did not need to take this medication to remain functional, and I have had it with the staff at this CVS location treating me like I am some kind of junkie criminal. I understand the need for adherence to state regulations regarding controlled substances, but that does not excuse the staff's apparent policy of making their customers jump through more hoops than a champion show dog, or treating customers like we are all automatically medication abusers. I have never once asked to have my prescription filled early, yet I am consistently questioned as to why I am asking for it to be filled at all, and lectured on regulations. I had a message to call CVS regarding having my prescription filled this month, so I called. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I was told that it was too early to fill the prescription (I didn't ask for them to fill it yet) and was told that I would have to call back today for it to be filled. So I called back today, only to be subjected to another interrogation from a different staff member, questioning why I was calling to have the prescription filled. Uh...because you told me to! She then went on to say that I had been misinformed by a pharmacy technician who hadn't "been trained properly" and that I would have to call back tomorrow for the prescription to be filled. I explained that, as much fun as it was to spend more time on the phone with CVS than I do with my own family members, I really did not have time to keep calling them over and over for such a simple matter. I questioned why, if my doctor sends in a prescription request earlier than it can be filled, do I then have to keep calling them? Can they not simply fill the prescription when it is due, and let us all move on with our lives? The staff member kept trying to interrupt me to repeat her spiel about "regulations" but I persisted with my question and was finally told that it is because they "cannot remember to schedule a prescription for refill" and so I have to call. Seriously? THIS is your explanation? Although this might explain why every other prescription I have gets put on auto-fill NOT at my request, and I then get bombarded with text messages "reminding" me to come pick up prescriptions I haven't even asked for! And the best part of this circus act...after speaking to the staff member today, I went back through my refill history, and found that the same prescription that is such a concern to them, was actually filled, not one, but THREE days early, for the past three months, also NOT at my request! So it appears that this is in fact completely arbitrary, and completely in the spirit of service efficiency that one might expect from the DMV. Inexcusable, inefficient, inconsistent nonsense. I gave one star, because it will not allow me to post with zero stars.

Trying to call to check on a prescription is a complete nightmare. I might as well drive there for the amount of time it takes to get a hold of someone. I have never been on hold for less then 12 minutes and the longest was 25 when I finally gave up and called back just to stay on hold again. I understand places get busy but this happens EVERY single time. The staff is friendly but every time I'm there its never very busy so I don't understand why they can't answer the phone? I will change my rating if things change but this has been going on for a long time

We switched from Walgreens to this pharmacy because it was more convenient and we have been sorry. It takes days to have a prescription filled. When i asked why they consistently blame it on Covid testing. If that's the case then more staff needs to be hired. I was told to call in the prescription 3 days ahead and it would be ready in time. This time I called on a Monday and when I called to check on Thursday it was still "in progress". So when I finally was able to reach someone after a 20 minute hold, they said they would have it filled within the hour. If they could have filled it that quickly why did I have to wait 4 days.

Service was awful. Waited over 45 minutes for a 2 prescriptions I walked the complete store. Purchased some items then went back again watched more people received their prescriptions and mine still not ready. I was finally called to pay for my prescriptions 4:28pm. I will be pulling my prescriptions.

Constantly late. Wait on the phone 45 MINUTES just to give up and drive to the store and WATCH them ignore the phone. Was promised IN PERSON that my prescription would be ready in the morning. It wasn’t. This is absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had.

Convenient location, but a little hard to get in & out of, the way the parking lot is set up. Otherwise... staff overall seems friendly enough. And I can always run in quickly for something last minute that I need, so that's nice.
